I was hoping to express a lot more in this blog, but my week has been taken up with some tasks which preludes me from being able to pen a lengthy article about today.

This morning members of Extinction Rebellion smashed the windows out of the entrance to the main HQ of HSBC.  Then, they all sat down and waited for the police.  None of them were arrested. HSBC has invested $110 billion in fossil fuels during the past decade.
​HSBC is the same bank that is under regulatory scrutiny following the revelations that they were laundering money for Mexican drug cartels. Business as usual hates the climate change movement.  Capitalism is the engine of ecocide.  And yet, very few of us can pause to consider how addicted we are to the two precepts of capitalist philosophy – eternal growth and profits. Infinite growth on a planet with finite resources is simply not possible.

 We are not only running out of fossil fuels and a viable ecosystem and we are also running out of excuses.  Thinking “some one else will fix it” will not work.  There is assistance available to help us solve this, but it will be most viable if it is in conscious partnership with Spirit, with the Planet, and not just some band-aid approach that will allow us to continue in the life we have been accustomed to.  A new vision will be necessary.  Some of us may have to consider withdrawing from "business as usual" in order to honor a higher purpose. Some of may have to put our action where our words are and stand in the path of the machine.  The image of one man standing in front of a row of tanks during the Tiananmen Square massacre comes to mind.

​This is one of the themes of the powerful Full Moon in Scorpio (Sun in Taurus) this coming Sunday and Monday. Uranus and Venus meet in Taurus, and right after the Full Moon, the Sun joins Uranus, and Pluto turns retrograde in Capricorn, until October 6th, 2021.  During this retrograde we get to review the past 7 months during which Pluto was direct and let go of anything that no longer applies to our sense of separation.  Pluto represents the World Soul, and ego death. Prepare for some personality funerals…on a mass scale. Meanwhile, Uranus and Saturn will stimulate our sense of which tribe we want to be part of. The transhuman one, or the organic one.

I will be addressing some of the main points in my next “Revealing the Mysteries” radio program this Sunday, so tune in then, or to the replay.  In the meantime, enjoy celebrating Earth Day, and make each day a reason to be in gratitude for this planet, and also resolve to partner with Her, and stand with Her.  Make every day be an Earth Day.
