![]() by Isaac George May 2nd, 2015 I’ll be brief. This Full Moon has so much baggage attached to it you’ll need a forklift or a crane to deal with it. The upside is that it’s about exposing what has been denied. The downside is that it’s about exposing what’s still being denied. Whoops! Supposedly The Buddha (the Enlightened One) was born when there was a Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus. If so, then this is a time that makes a strong case for it being necessary to see all of the false demons and paper tigers that are coming at us from under the rug of our subconscious. In other words, calling out denial is an act of enlightenment. Maybe you’ll see a self-sabotaging belief or attachment to a situation that’s been sucking on your Life Force for far too long. Remove that leech, banish that vampire! Or, perhaps someone close to you will reveal a Mr Hyde or Ms. Hyde side of their persona you’d never had an inkling was there in the first place. Call out the Pest Removal crew…and free yourself! The Sun is at 13 degrees of Taurus (celebrate our roots), the Moon is at 13 degrees of Scorpio (uncomfortable or held emotions). Those middle degrees are intense! The other players that are close to that degree are Pluto at 15 Capricorn (retrograde – “where’s my power?”), Jupiter at 13 Leo (“I’m in charge, aren’t I?”), Black Moon Lilith at 17 Virgo (“Don’t disrespect me!”), and Vesta at 16 Pisces (“What are my beliefs, and do they still work?”). But wait, there’s more! When you examine the center of this chart (see Figure 1 below) the aspect lines form an almost perfect hexagon, or six-pointed star. Whenever you have that geometry you also get a Mystic Rectangle between four points of the star (see Figure 2 below). Trace imaginary lines from the South Node in Aries (karmic baggage) to Mercury in Gemini (more data please!), North Node in Libra (my Authentic Soul Desire in Sustainable Relationship) to Saturn in Sagittarius (What is the truth here?), and there it is! A Mystic Rectangle is formed by four sextiles (60 degrees of separation), whereas a Grand Trine is formed between three points or planets at 120 degrees of separation. Get two Grand Trines interlinked and you get a Hexagon. You get “flow” with the Hexagon, and you get a high degree of synchronization with the four planets or points within the Mystic Rectangle. All this adds up to a great deal of power flowing from point to point to aid in the process of the Full Moon. In this case, letting go of what no longer serves, and doing whatever mourning or grieving that is needed in order to EN-LIGHTEN yourself of a karmic load. The other side of this configuration is the EM-POWERMENT of individuals to do some kind of soul-retrieval work, bringing back disowned or lost parts of the Psyche that were displaced due to being inappropriately being blamed for something, blaming oneself about something (regret), or splitting off parts of ourselves that we ditched into a gutter out of fear that we’d be judged or exiled for being unworthy. With Black Moon Lilith, Pluto and the Scorpio Moon in the mix, this is an especially potent time for women to reclaim their true shamanic roots.
With Uranus and Pluto still in strong aspect by a tense square, some of your soul retrieval work may take novel twists or turns. Or, your intensity around self-reclamation may earn you the title “uncaring” or worse. This event does have a tone of “don’t take anything personal”, but of course, it will be taken in just that way…for now. Weather the raging storms, and you will break into the clear, and so will everyone else. If all this seems confusing, try not to let it drop you into overwhelm. Do you know a bit about your birth chart? Then look to see where you have anything around 10-15 degrees of Taurus and Scorpio. Look at which house Venus rules (Taurus or Libra), and also where Pluto falls in your chart (co-ruler of Scorpio). Those positions will give you a hint what the themes of the denial/release are about, while the placement of the Sun and Moon, Pluto, etc. will show the houses where the activations will occur. Although this Lunation occurs Sunday in some parts of the globe, and Monday in the rest, the effects will be more visible for the next two weeks. In other words, there may not be any fireworks to observe on Bank Holiday Monday in Britain and Ireland. Too wet out there anyway (if you live there, you know what I mean). The upwelling will become apparent as the days tick off towards the New Moon in Taurus on the 18th of May, the next starting point in these exciting, but sometimes weird, times. Don’t book any wooden riverboat trips down Denial, and may the stars be ever in your favor. And as always, Peace, Isaac P.S. The website will be undergoing a major makeover during this coming week or so...it too desires to become enlightened :-). So, pardon our dust. Thanks! P.P.S. I find it wildly ironic that the day after this Full Moon is "Cinco de Mayo", which celebrates a major victory by Mexico against an invasion by France in 1862.
