![]() by Isaac George Oct 12th, 2015 I am morphing into a heretical evolutionary astrologer. In other words, with a few future exceptions, I will be blogging less about lunar events, eclipses, etc. There are a number of reasons for this, which I’ll cover in a different series of blogs that will be coming up in the next few weeks, but suffice it to say that as an evolutionary, or soul-based, astrologer, it’s time to evolve! Perhaps the term “pirate astrologer” might suit. Hmm…star larceny might not work. Now that’s out of the way, time to focus on this week’s festivities. There’s a lovely being whose been messaging me for a week or so now, asking “when will things settle down?” My pat answer to her, and others, is “not in the foreseeable future.” Today is a good example. It’s a New Moon in Libra, and yes, there is a HUGE amount of energy pressing down on all of us regarding relationships; our relationship with Self, with others, or a significant (and possibly difficult) “other.” With each passing day, it appears that external and internal forces are coaxing, if not downright pushing us to make decisions…to choose a path, a new direction or commitment. And this is indeed what is occurring, and will continue to occur with increasing intensity. (The chart is below, and the exact moment of the New Moon is 1:05BST, 12:05GMT, October 13th. It occurs on October 12th in North and South America.) When is it going to settle down? I’ve got no idea, and my advice is don’t look for some sort of external reprieve to suddenly return you, me or the rest of the world to some somnambulistic version of our previous worldly experience (think the Eisenhower years of the 1950’s, or Marty McFly’s lifestyle in “Back to the Future” during the 1980’s). It’s not going to morph suddenly into a future Utopia either (remember 2012?). Nobody is going to get to sleepwalk through the next decade or so, and I’ll stake my astrological reputation on it. Now, before you shut down and call me a negativist and accuse me of fear-mongering, I’d just like to ask you to look at how positive these times and the potential future times can be if we are stimulated, prodded, pushed and otherwise compelled to evolve out of our dysfunctional beliefs, habits and general brainwashing about how things are and how they’re supposed to be. The time for compromising your values or soul-instincts in order to please others and just get along in the Matrix is becoming more untenable with each transit. This New Moon is only part of the energy that is ripping away the veils from our eyes. It’s activated and activating Uranus in Aries (retrograde) and that guy is traveling in close proximity with his feminine counterpart, the dwarf planet Eris. Eris is like a biker chick that’s looking to disturb your civilised sensibilities. The other activation is the inconjunct (tension) between the New Moon and Chiron retrograde in Pisces. This placement will ask all of us what our deepest despairs, losses and childhood wounds have been, and we will need to feel them, not intellectualize them. No room in the new paradigm for our unhealed inner child baggage. To be soft, yielding and compassionate with ourselves as we invite these soul parts back into the fold is the only way through the tension. It could get very edgy and a bit messy…let it do that. Diplomacy may be in short supply, as there are sudden shocks and insights regarding significant others that may upset your previous assumptions. Venus and Saturn are the Razor’s Edge Gang today and over the next few days. In a close and tense square to one another, Venus demands a high level of ethics in Virgo…a purity of intent and purpose, while Saturn in Sagittarius is like a prosecuting attorney, pushing the defendant (you, other, or both) to come clean with the truth. Hear that sound? That’s because the veil of illusion and denial getting ripped apart. Have a box of Kleenex nearby at all times. Now on to the next order of business, which is about Jupiter and Venus conjunct in Virgo, and which will be in a trine Pluto in Capricorn on October 16th. Perhaps it’s time to watch the markets again. Business as usual is going to also be undergoing the gravitational crunch over the next few months/years. The old models will be disintegrating at a more accelerated pace. Our economic model is currently fueled by two factors – greed or fear. There’s an astrological art known as mundane astrology that has been tracking trends in the financial and business world since before the last crash in 2008, and they were mostly right about that one happening. Now these astrologers are sounding the alarm bells that we may be headed into another not-so-nice situation, mainly because the fundamentals that caused the downturn in 2008 have never been addressed. In case you think I’m making this stuff up, take a moment to look at some of the headlines. Investors are paying attention...especially to the situation in China. This is only one article, but many governments and financial institutions are getting nervous, or creating the nervousness. Read more about it here. Can our business model be reformed? For a number of reasons it’s very doubtful. I remember in the 90’s that some people who were awakening spiritually thought it would be possible to hang out in the corporate arena and effect change from the inside out. As former U.S. President Jimmy Carter discovered the hard way, it was easier to campaign on the promise to completely reform the U.S Federal governmental bureaucracy than it was to actually do it. And, as Buckminster Fuller recommended, we will need to invent something new and better to take the place of hyper-capitalism and neo-liberal policies (austerity is good for you!). You probably sense that all is not well with our financial and economic systems, and this is another reason the anxiety is at an all-time high. Perhaps higher than the Dow Jones Index on the Wall Street! The whole planet is operating from a place of cortisol poisoning. Don’t try to ignore it, because it’s not going to go away until we face facts and the truth of our illusions (Virgo-Sagittarius). One of the primary energies this week is to download your own Soul Program. This will, by its very nature, not be what your mind will think it might be. Your “mission” is unique to you, and, it is integral with everyone else’s mission in one sense or another. You might find yourself outside of the mainstream, and wonder where your tribe/family/allies are hiding out. You may still try to operate within the “system” and it will work for the time being, until it no longer feeds your soul. One thing to assiduously avoid in any case is the idea of spiritual significance. In other words, you and your being here is no more or less important than another soul’s mission or purpose. Cooperation will have to replace the old ideas of competition. You just need to ask for it and cooperate with it, without trying to define it...for now anyway. It would also be useful to examine some of our unconscious language we utilize in the marketplace and our lives. Here’s one example of what I’m talking about. For all of us who are in the helping professions, life coaches, therapists, healers, bodyworkers and so forth, I’d recommend ditching the overused and well-worn term “client”. The origin of the word “client” is as follows: Origin of client: Old French ; from Classical Latin cliens, follower, retainer ; from Indo-European base an unverified form klei-, to lean, as in Classical Latin clinare (see incline); basic sense, “one leaning on another (for protection)” Read more at http://www.yourdictionary.com/client#gJat6GGMGuD7eVWp.99 According to one of the Merriam -Webster’s Dictionary references, a client as “a person who engages the professional services of another; also: “patron, customer”. But get this, the first definition is “dependent.” A health coach I know told me that she likes to think of those that come to her that she’s a professional friend for them. That’s a new clarity in the business relationship…being there as a friend! It’s so ironic. We are all striving to become more self-actualized and self-sufficient, and at the same time we run the risk of becoming dependent on our “clients” and they become dependent on us. The therapeutic model needs an upgrade too. I look around and am amazed that our culture now demands so much of us, and a lot of folks are finding it harder and harder just to keep up. A larger swath of the population than ever before is in therapy, or on medication…or needs to be. Coaching and therapies are proliferating exponentially, and at the same time things are still getting crazier. Just noticing, and wondering if there’s something we’re missing in the equation. I feel that what most of us really want is quite basic, and very human. We want to feel good!! We all are Love, and crave love. Finding and feeling acceptance with one another is giving voice to love. To be listened to, seen and deeply understood is love in action. To be enfolded, and to be cherished…just for being human is Love demonstrated. To feel secure in our intimacies, in our strengths and in our vulnerabilities is Love as Protector. To just feel what it would be like without so much striving, stress and worry would be welcome. Should not Life be more than jumping from one stress management and coping mechanism to another? That in itself produces more stress…trying to find things to reduce stress. Do we have to reach the breaking point in order to change? We are so imaginative, inventive and creative…gifts that beg to be made manifest will begin to emerge from the crucible of change, the ripping of the veil. Welcome to the new normal. Perhaps the planetary eco-emergency is something that will actually propel humanity into sanity again. I don’t know for sure, but we obviously need to behave differently if we, and most of the other species on this world, are to do more than survive. To thrive will require a spiritual renaissance, but I feel it will be more a shamanic and neo-pagan movement than something etherically spiritual, aka the "New Age." Empty yourself of all that you thought you knew…beginner’s mind is required today, tomorrow, and for the next millennia. I recommend more a return to miracle-mindedness. “A miracle is something that looks impossible, but happens anyway.” That little gem was delivered by a character named Griffin (picture above) in the film “Men in Black 3”. I like it a lot! What we may be on the threshold of discovering is how we can integrate the practical and the magical, the pragmatic and the shamanic. It certainly sounds and looks a whole lot more sustainable and fun than the old model! Let the veil fall from your eyes, or rip it away, and behold yourself new and renewed. You will see things that have been hidden, that have tranced you out, or numbed you from your true identity. Allow the illusions to crumble, let the child within heal, and may your warrior/lover arise from the ashes of the old order. It’s a New Moon…it’s a new day…it’s a new world, if you want it. With love, Isaac

![]() The Total/Lunar/Super/Blood Eclipse by Isaac George 27 September 2015 The only constant is change. And the more things change, the more they stay the same. Ahh, the Mystery of the Paradox. Life will continue beyond this Full Moon/ Lunar Eclipse/Blood Moon/Harvest Moon, and there will still be unfinished business to attend to over the next six months…or longer. Depending on your perceptions and situation that may sound like welcome or unwelcome news. However, the bottom line as I feel it is this is just another alarm clock ringing to wake us all up. The ringing of the village church bell did the same for folks long before there were clocks, and in the Far East it might have been the drone of Tibetan trumpets. Nonetheless, the call to awaken is happening. I liken an eclipse to the ringing of large bell, and the tone and harmonics takes a while to die away. There will be another striking of that large celestial bell next March, which could be considered a future bookmark to the one coming up tomorrow in the U. S., and early Monday morning in Asia and Europe. A bookend holds a book up. A bookmark holds a place for you in the book where you've finished a section or chapter, and you intend to return to it at a later time. A completed cycle is like a pair of bookends holding up the book or books. The real bookend event is the upcoming end of the Nodes of the Moon traveling through Libra and Aries. There's a beginning, in this case March 20th-22nd of 2014, and there's moment of crossing the finish line, which will occur around October 10th, 2015, when they move into Virgo and Pisces. The celestial bookmark moment will be with this Total Lunar Eclipse, and the next one will be the Annular (Partial) Lunar Eclipse on March 23rd, 2016. (See attached charts below) Much has already been written about this "Blood Moon" so I won't revisit the points already made by many very good fellow astrologers. I certainly have stepped back a bit about this one being the big Ending of everything that has transpired in our relationships over the past 18 to 24 months. I also don't buy into any apocalyptic scenarios. Some are speculating that it may have something to do with Ascension and Wave X. There is an increase of anomalous events and experiences, of that there is no question. I've had missing time, even a missing day, and my visual and auditory senses are shifting and changing. Perhaps Wave X has come, maybe gone, or is out to lunch. Hard to speculate whether this or that date or event is the Big Deal. Personally, I'm not too keen any longer on there ever being such a thing. It's a process, and even though it feels like acceleration, it is still an evolutionary process. At least that's the way it appears and feels to our filters. ![]() In 1997 I was an avid listener of the Art Bell syndicated radio show "Dreamland" in the United States. He penned a book with another writer called "The Quickening", and many predictions about ascension and mass awakenings were foretold for the years 2000 and 2001. What we got instead was a fizzle for the supposed Y2K "millennium bug", followed by the 9/11 attacks, and then the War on Terror. Astrologers were watching and reading other signs of the times before this, and the upcoming Saturn - Pluto opposition clearly indicated that the "party like its 1999" (Prince) was not going to continue into the next decade. We are also still currently under the influence of the Uranus-Pluto cycle, and this Eclipse transpires with four planets in retrograde: Neptune, Chiron, Mercury and Uranus. This tends to color the game a bit, especially with Mercury in Libra. That "other" event, the End of the Mayan calendar in December 2012, may actually be evident in the breakdowns (and some breakups) happening. So perhaps that was the real deal...and it'll just take a long time to unravel. I feel that what this Eclipse challenges us about is to foster cooperation and partnering and and to consider it from a whole new level of Consciousness. Saturn and Pluto are direct, and for the time being Saturn is in the "too early" degrees to make much of a dent in the current energies. He'll be more of a factor by early December. In the meantime, what can we do with this opportunity? The Sun and Moon are at 4 degrees of Libra and Aries, and yes, they are very close to the North and South Nodes of the Moon, which are at the Super Galactic Center Zero Degree, or World Axis degree. But close only counts in horseshoes, and I defer to the new Eclipse season in March 2016 as the possible final reckoning for what we've been experiencing thus far this year and in 2014. My mind wants to parrot what many others have been saying, as in whatever was happening with you and any significant "others" during the transit of the Nodes in Aries -Libra (and the Venus Retrograde this past summer) then that's it, done and dusted, kiss it all bye-bye. Hmmm… not so fast. We are human beings. We have a need to relate. We are dependent upon each other as we are for sunlight, water, an oxygen rich atmosphere and good topsoil. Yes, we love our independence and freedom, but without anyone to share it with, we would start to feel like the character Tom Hanks played in the movie Cast Away. His only friend was a volleyball he named Wilson. What I feel this Eclipse is about is a call to reassess our relationship to Human Relationships (and lots more!). Too often we reject the unknown for the known, thinking it's the more practical or pragmatic route. Sometimes we go to an extreme in the other direction, and become lost in the "Other", or in the ideal of Love. Somewhere in the middle there may be a sweet spot, a place where magic and romance can meet practicality and sustainability. Goodness knows that we still have a lot of clean-up work to do around the baggage of hurt we share individually and collectively in affairs of the heart. We are told not to lose our head in love and relationships, but too often that is exactly what needs to happen, because all of our stories and associated emotions are bound up into one big protective ego dance. ![]() A week ago I stumbled across this image on Facebook that I felt initially attracted to, perhaps because of a recent personal experience with someone I feel very close to. Inside my head, I could hear my wounded little not-self egging me on, saying "yeah, so and so has the wrong heart…just blow that off!" When I looked at again I realized what I was engaged in, and immediately saw that the image and its message was like someone else's pain trying to divide my love for this person and turn it into a judgmental hate. I've been seeing a lot of these types of messages lately, and they're dressed up to sound like they are encouraging our sovereignty and designed to get us out of victim consciousness. However I feel that there is message underneath, trying to drive wedges between people by creating mistrust and fear. It certainly plays well to our old wounds and hurts...creating reactions instead of healing. Perhaps we are just all trying too hard to be strong all the time, and now it's being exploited. By who or what isn't the point here, so I'll leave that for the Reader to ponder for now. When I finally commented on this image in the Facebook post, I wrote: "There are no wrong hearts... only confused ones. And they ache to be loved too." As I was writing this blog, I also stumbled on to this article about our personal and interpersonal need to belong, to connect. According to the author, Bethany Webster, our primary need is to feel connected and attached to others. Bonding is the fabric that is so important in many mammalian societies. Dolphins are one example, and Bonobo chimps are another. Our drive to individuate is normal and healthy, but there are caveats. The so-called "war" between the sexes is one of the wedges that preys on our separation anxieties…separation from Source, from our birth mother, from Nature, and from each other. Disconnection, or the strategy of divide and conquer, is at the heart of most religions (us versus "them") and political systems (liberals versus conservatives). Our penchant for labels and naming has landed us in branding hell, and now we sense that all is not as it was intended to be. Click to read the full article: http://womboflight.com/2015/09/25/raw-open-and-real-moving-from-traumatic-aloneness-to-universal-oneness/ ![]() What all this has to do with the Eclipse tonight/tomorrow, and the road ahead, is that I feel that our need for connection and our need for honoring and cultivating new beliefs and behaviors in our relationships is inexorably bound up with the call to pay attention to the much bigger issues facing us as a species. Is our economic model sustainable, and will we avert ecocide in time? Can we cast aside enough of our isolationist and egocentric tendencies that we come to actually care for the strangers in our midst? This may be what part of the Syrian refugee crisis is about. One thing feels certain…we only are given a certain amount of time to align in collaboration with the Planetary Evolutionary (and Cosmic) impulse before higher laws and powers overtake us and force changes necessary for planetary survival. Note that I don't necessarily include us in that prerogative, but I heartily enjoin us to consider what will happen if we choose to continue as we have been. The Chinese have a saying - "if you don't change your direction, you'll end up where you're headed." Or, something like that. The microcosm and the Macrocosm are infinitely linked…as within, so without, and as above, so below. How we respond to our current individual challenges and the challenges in our relationships, and our response to the global questions I stated above will determine our individual and collective journey ahead. This Eclipse is one of the bookmarks. Yes, some relationships may have to end in order for a change of belief to occur - or a change of belief must occur in order that the right people can line up to create a new paradigm on many levels. The change of the Nodal Signs is one of the bookends. The next chapter will be read and hopefully understood by next March. We have the time just now, but do we have the trust, will courage and love to do what is necessary? We don't need to trash the people that we've loved or let go of people we care about with rancour or in a vengeful way. What we desperately need though is to let go of the beliefs, wounds, attitudes and suspicions that poison our perceptions and erode the Love that we are, and that gave birth to our existence. Whatever this Eclipse may mean to you, it certainly represents another clearing being made in order for us to claim the opportunities that lie ahead. Knowing is the science of faith, and with Saturn in Sagittarius for the next few years, our faith and beliefs will be tested. Joy and love are the main ingredients for successfully embracing the healing being offered in these times. It will be the joy of letting go of what no longer serves while loving ALL of you, no matter what you think about your stuff. That goes double about how you perceive the reflections of all the other souls around you. Be gentle with them, and with yourself because Sun in Libra is the ultimate balancing act. And remember…don't look down! With love, Isaac Isaac offers spiritual mentoring and astrological coaching in person or internationally via Skype. For your listening enjoyment <3 ![]() Sept 5th, 2015 The Energy Times by Isaac George The Venus Retrograde will finally conclude this coming Sunday-Monday, and our wandering in the relationship wilderness for the past 40 days is just about end. In actuality, Venus began this journey on June 22nd, and it will not complete itself until it leaves the shadow period on October 9th. (Chart posted below) Perhaps you’ve had some major “ah-ha’s!” about your current relationship, or your own patterns and values within the context of your relationship. Some of you might have experienced a renewed sense of self-love, and realized that you’ve lost touch with your own essence and you sought to regain your own sense of self-appreciation and increase your self-care practices. Then for some there could have been a review of your past partnerships and love affairs, or perhaps some lover or partner from your past came to mind, or in some cases, someone significant may have come back to cross your path. Old feelings may be rekindled, and themes of unrequited love might have erupted too. Love gained and lost are common to the human experience, and sometimes we are not aware of unprocessed emotions and feelings we are holding and they may have rushed into the foreground of your experience during this transit. In a few instances, these renewed contacts are for a final healing and release, or for renewing a choice to move forward together again. Some may have fallen head of heels in love with someone totally new, and some impetuousness could have led into hasty engagements or marriage proposals. Hang on one moment… When this retrograde is over we still will have some fog to clear. Retrograding planets are designed for looking inside for conditions or issues that need our full attention…something that needs healing or integrating. It is NOT necessarily a great time to change things in the outer landscape. The time for action is usually AFTER the retrograde is over, not DURING it. As I mentioned in the previous blog, when we alter our direction under a retrograde planet cycle we may just get a rude surprise down the road. So… If you did break up with someone during this time-frame, or you have committed to a new relationship or recommitted to an old or existing partnership, there is likelihood that you'll have a flat tire on the car of life…sooner or later. Rethinking is always in hindsight, and 20/20 in focus. There could a bit of buyer’s remorse and then a crisis of how you may need to extricate yourself from either the new situation or the one you stood pat on. Messes not cleaned up will always return, and you may have a total eclipse of the heart, after which you may also have a change of heart with a corresponding change of direction Why is this so important right now? Because of Saturn at the 29th degree of Scorpio. Yes, Saturn is a factor because it is calling to us and saying “Have you completed the necessary lessons ?", and "...are you sure this is your decision?” I covered the implications of the Cosmic Hammer in the previous blog (read here) and it is unequivocal. I have seen close up the power of Saturn at the 29th degree, and have a healthy respect for how this overrides our notions of how we try to manipulate our realities. Uranus can have a similar, but more shocking effect. In this scenario Saturn is a relentless karmic taskmaster, and at the last degree of Scorpio is demanding the ultimate in detoxification of our held emotions and traumas. Remember, Scorpio’s co-ruler is Pluto, so with Saturn in mutual reception to Pluto this is a double-strength shamanic medicine show we’re dealing with. Since Venus will be going direct at 14 degrees of Leo, and Pluto is currently at 13 degrees plus of Capricorn, they are said to be "inconjunct". When two planets are in such an aspect with one another, it creates tension. It is a different tension to an opposition, conjunction or square, but it is not in an overt way, but as in feeling like there is an impasse or inability to resolve the tension that is presented. And, it could take a massive amount of energy and focus to resolve said tension. So, this why there may not be an immediate sigh of relief until Venus has begun to move forward and away from the inconjunct to Pluto. Early to mid-October will be feeling a lot different. With Mars trining Uranus right now, you may also be getting ahead of yourself...i.e., feeling a bit too frenetic and clumsy. Slow down...and recognize if you're pushing too much. Being aware is to be prepared. Sorry…it’s not all doom or gloom. The bright spot is that we will be entering the territory of Libra shortly after Saturn leaves Scorpio, and the mood will lighten up and shift after the Autumnal Equinox on September 23rd, just ahead of Pluto moving direct and the big Lunar Eclipse on the 28th . Next week will be a bit bumpy with Moon in Cancer, and then there’s the upcoming Partial Solar Eclipse on the 13th of September at 20 Virgo as well, and there will be an important meeting between the North Node in Libra and Black Moon Lilith too. I’ll feature that in next week’s report. So, stay the course, and above all, do not give up hope or your vision. Enjoy the Bonny Tyler video below, and see you next week!! With Love, Isaac NOTE: If any of you are still experiencing anomalies with your computing or communications equipment, or are having strange physical, emotional or mental hiccups, please email me with the details, or post as comments below. I’m still collecting data as to the fluctuating state of our planetary and solar magnetic fields. The Sun was storming last week, and may have contributed to some of you feeling a bit unsteady. ![]() Supermoon in Pisces/The Energy Times by Isaac George August 28th, 2015 I've had a lot of surprises in August, but actually, I'm not surprised. In fact, that should be everyone’s standard response for the rest of the year. “Hey, I wasn’t surprised”…or something like that. After Black Monday and Brown Tuesday, and “I Don’t Freakin’ Believe It” Wednesday, a lot of big and small investors around the world are downing antidepressants and alcohol. There’s been a binge crop of solar activity as well. We’ll talk all about that in the Energy Report segment below, but first… We have a very busy rest of the month, and September has so much happening in it that I will be breaking this up into at least two or perhaps three consecutive reports. It's a right of passage, and we're on the verge of a lot more change and transformation! Look to the bottom of these posts to grab a look at the chart(s) or other supporting evidence pertaining to the content. The first of three Super Full Moons occurs this Saturday at 19:35 BST in the U.K. A “supermoon” is what occurs when the moon’s orbit is closest to the earth. It’s called a syzygy, which is a vortex of energy that is created by the Moon, Sun and Earth in alignment. When the moon is this close it can distort the tidal motions and the land masses are even slightly affected. Since our bodies and the viscous fluid that our brain floats in is mostly water, our equilibrium and mental and emotional bodies are impacted. This can create unexpected emotional responses, and fuzzy-headed thinking. For some it’ll be like being on drugs. At the same time as this lunation, and the next one - a partial Solar Eclipse on September 13th, we have to still deal with Pluto, Chiron, Venus Uranus and Neptune in retrograde motion. Saturn also is still playing a big role in the current energies. Here are the dates of note to follow: August 29th – This Supermoon is at 6 degrees and 6 minutes of Virgo and Pisces. Jupiter conjuncts the Sun and opposes the Moon, and expands the effects dramatically. Neptune is conjunct the Moon, and opposes the Sun, creating even more Piscean blurriness. Think of the word permeability, and you get the idea. No boundaries between you and the light and dark within. Anything that is dark and hidden will be brought into view. There may be an aura of unreality to certain things, a look like a shimmering mirage in the distance. Is it an oasis, or an illusion up ahead? With this much Neptunian dazzle, it may look more like the Twilight Zone or an alternate universe. The push-pull will be between work, analysing, and feeling practical versus the call of the great wild open Multiverse with all of its feelings, images, visions, and the desire to merge with the expansive realm of unrequited dreams, unconditional love and oneness. Shall we crack on with what’s at hand, or will you just hold me for eternity? This is the nature of oppositions…a tug of war. Oppositions are always a call for balance, a negotiated win-win (hopefully). One of the things to pay heed to: where were you and what you were dwelling on when the Pisces Eclipse occurred on March 20th this year? Perhaps something related to that time will reveal itself to your awareness this time around. The New Moon on Sept.13th reintroduces more Virgoan themes, but this time the Sun and Moon will oppose retrograde Chiron at 19 Pisces. This will be covered in next week's post. Helpful Hints: This could be a very emotional time and feel unwelcome, because darn it, you’ve got stuff to accomplish! (Virgo mind stuff). Full Moons are a release point though, so don’t fight it. I recommend grounding (Virgo) and comforting yourself while you witness your feelings. This is an opportunity to merge intuition with intellect…don’t let it slip past you! September 1st – Mars and Venus go out on a date with Leo: This will be interesting…especially since Venus is still retrograde. She goes direct on the morning of the 7th of September in the U.K., culminating at 14 degrees and 24 minutes of Leo, and right next to Mr. Mars. This is the second conjoined meeting of three this year, with the next one on November 3rd. Check and see if you have anything around 14 plus degrees in your chart in the signs of Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio or Taurus. That’s where the action will be. The call to balance the masculine and feminine principles within us will feel a bit odd with Venus still moving backwards, and the Full Moon just happening and all that. Seems like a hello and a goodbye…a “Strangers in the Night Moment”, or Daniel Day Louis shouting across a battlefield “Stay alive! I will find you!” in Last of the Mohicans. Can’t wait for round 3 on November 3rd! The other event on this date is Saturn landing on the Anaretic 29th Degree of Scorpio. I’ve been excitedly reading up on what the 29th degree represents in each sign of the Zodiac, and it’s stunning how effective and inescapable it is. According to the medical astrologer Eileen Nauman, this is the Cosmic Hammer. Basically, if you have any planet, major asteroid or angle (Ascendent, Descendent, etc.) at 29 degrees, and a transiting planet, especially one of the outer transpersonal planets (Saturn, Uranus, etc.) makes contact with something in your natal chart when it arrives at the 29th degree, then any unresolved toxic emotions that have to do with the issues of that natal point will be released. You, as an individual, will have no control over this and it is work that must be done…hence the term Cosmic Hammer. It’s like between degrees 0 and 28, you can resist change. But at the 29th degree you no longer have free will or the ability to dictate to your own soul or the Universe. Forces beyond your control rise up to enforce the evolutionary imperative. Something’s gotta give, and the manifestation will appear to be something that happens outside of you that you will have no control over, but whatever it is will change your mind and your direction. By the way, the transiting planet doesn’t have to be a big outer one. The Sun, Mars and Venus have been transiting through the later degrees of Leo, and causing a spectacular ruckus with some folks when they've touched the 29th degree. The Nodes of the Moon are about to leave Aries-Libra, and then it will be at the 29th degree of Virgo-Pisces. Saturn will return to Sagittarius on September 18th, but more on that in the next installment. NOTE: The permutations or possibilities depends on the planets involved, so if you have anything in your chart at the 29th degree, and want some guidance to decipher what this Saturn transit is going to do in your chart, then contact me post haste. We can set up an Astro Update session to tackle it. Just click here for more information or to book a reading. September 6th – Venus in Leo goes direct at 14 degrees and 24 minutes at 9:29 am BST on the morning of September 7th in the United Kingdom. This will be a welcome relief for those who have been through some of the toughest relationship challenges of their lives. There have been breakups, temporary get-togethers, reversing of fields, and just plain heartbreak and releasing since July 25th. Actually, Venus entered the shadow phase on June 22nd and the heat has been on ever since. Venus won’t exit the other side of the shadow period until October 9th, so don’t be too hasty to consider anything as a done deal. In fact, any rethinking that has happened during this retrograde that led to any decision-making of major consequence may end up doubling back on itself. The same way that buying a new car under a Mercury retrograde can create problem. Four or five months down the road you may wonder why you bought this lemon, and what you will wonder what it will take to get out from under it. Rash decisions could come back to haunt you, the other, or all parties involved. The past could indeed become prologue in some cases – i.e., what what looked like a final decision now looks untenable and that which was rejected is now embraced. Only time will tell, so please don’t stand still and hold your breath. These things have a way of sorting themselves out for the best good of all. As Venus exits the retrograde, it forms a quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn and a trine to Uranus in Aries. The quincunx is a tension aspect that could bring some lessons concerning the sharing of power in relationships and the trine could create a need for more autonomy within your current relationship. Both require a redefining of boundaries and freedom. If you’re not sure what the “shadow” period in a retrograde cycle is, just click here. That’s the wrap up for the astro-events between today and September 9th, but the next issue will cover the New Moon in Virgo on the 13th of September, and Saturn’s ingress into Sagittarius for the next two years, and what that may mean for all of us. Beginning with this issue, I am now calling it The Energy Times. In that issue I mentioned some of the anomalies that I had been experiencing with electronic computing and telecommunications devices and networks. I also noted a distinct uptick in people getting feeling ill or health challenged but ongoing medical testing coming back with mixed or negative results, but symptoms persisting or worsening anyway. In some recent cases seemingly healthy people died suddenly, or those with chronic but non-life threatening situations also died suddenly. The last category that is noteworthy is emotional instability and a rise in lethargy and despair. In early August a number of friends and clients reported feeling like they just felt like giving up or had no idea what in the world to do with themselves. Some folks have been borderline suicidal in some cases. Dizziness, nausea, fainting spells, disorientation, and disorganization also were reported. And, as has been the case for some time now, disrupted sleeping patterns, or bouts of insomnia are widespread. So in the last issue I invited you, the Reader, to submit anything that seemed out of the ordinary, and I got back some good responses. Reports varied from person-to-person, but overall the consensus on the Internet seemed almost universal. It seems that no matter where one lives, the serviceable speed and bandwidth has degraded noticeably…with no Internet Service Provider able to offer any reasonable explanation or solution. Other symptoms reported are laptops and mobile (cell) phones shutting down and restarting. Erratic message sending or messages and emails that went missing into cyberspace. Hard drives crashing, data missing, and in some cases entire operating systems becoming unstable or inoperable, requiring a reinstallation. One of my clients forwarded the following dissertation about what might be occurring. It’s entitled “Dis-Equilibrium and the Human Brain” by Sheilagh Durkin. You can download the Adobe PDF of the file below. ![]()
My own take on these electronic and communications issues is two-fold. First, Uranus went retrograde on July 27th, and won’t go direct again until December 27th. I feel that Uranus governs things electrical, and when Uranus was in the sign of Aquarius during the 1990’s it showed how influential it was in birthing the revolution in electronic computing and hand-held communications equipment. So, don’t expect things to ease much until after New Year’s Day, when Uranus gets up a head of steam and begins to move forward again. What the lesson might be here is to show us how overly dependent and addicted we’ve become to our gadgets. This recent article focuses on how we're obsessed with mobile computing platforms – click here to view the article. Another more intriguing factor is geopathic stress. I have been feeling for some time the deep symbiotic connect between the ecosphere of our planet, particularly its electro-magnetic field, and the Sun’s sunspot and CME (coronal mass ejections) cycles. We’re not in a solar maximum cycle, but since late June there have been long periods of geomagnetic storming induced by CME’s and coronal streams of super-charged particles streaming into the upper atmosphere. I’ve heard that some geophysicists are concerned that erratic solar activity is affecting the Earth’s magnetic core, the tides, the gravitational fields, and also our biological functions. I’m still researching and compiling links and articles and hopefully provide a list in the next issue. Perhaps Gaia’s awakening is getting quiet active, and merits a closer understanding. There is also new data indicating that solar activity is the main driver of our weather patterns, and El Nino’ and El Nina’ in the eastern and central Pacific Ocean. The non-existent summer in Ireland may be by-product of processes involving our Sun we’re just beginning to understand. The solar effects may also extend to the increase in tectonic activity, with larger quakes and more volcanic activity lighting up the headlines for the past three months. People who are electro-sensitive or empathic react to geopathic stress and solar activity, and the symptoms are quite pronounced for some in the emotional and psychological changes they experience. Some exhibit strong physical reactions that feel quite real, but medical testing cannot detect as yet. Perhaps the instrumentation used is still not sensitive enough to register the effects of magnetic fluctuations on the human cellular structures. More to follow in the next issue! P.S. To underscore the weirdness, a blog of mine from July 15th started appearing in my subscriber's inboxes today, and I have no clue how it happened! ![]() Black Monday Special Report: Last Monday (August 24th) the world financial markets reacted very negatively to what was happening on the China's stock exchange. It seems that most folks were surprised by the ferocity of how it impacted the other exchanges around the world. I’ve been watching the Chinese exchange since late July when a sell-off began that no one in China could figure out. Steadily the losses climbed…and the Chinese authorities stood by and did nothing. Was it insider trading? Was the Chinese dominance in manufacturing and finance finally overheating and losing forward momentum? The downward spiral continued, and the Chinese central bank did nothing to shore up its currency. However, it did start to quietly sell off U.S.Treasury bonds These bonds are traded by the U.S. government to fund the cash it buys from the Federal Reserve, the American central bank. The money raised from the treasury bonds keeps the U.S liquidity going. They are seen as an investment, with yields calculated over decades in the future based on projected growth. If growth slows down, then the bonds lose value. It is estimated that China has 2-3 trillion dollars worth of U.S. bonds. If it starts selling them in large enough quantities to shore up its own growth and protect the Yuan, then investors will begin to lose confidence and sell off stocks and commodities based on the speculation of a downturn economically. Last week the first wave hit on August 21s, when the U.S. stock index, the Dow Jones lost over 300 points. The next day the losses climbed to 550 plus points. This past Monday panic set in. Nonetheless I am paying attention to what some of the best ones are talking about just now, because a few of them accurately predicted the events of the past 10 days. And they don’t see an end to the bumpy ride either. So I am preparing a three-part series about many interrelated topics for the months of September and October, and they will post independently from the usual astrological reports. Part of this series will be focusing on our current beliefs about money, debt, economics and sustainability and spirituality and how we may be at a crossroads that could force us to dramatically alter our viewpoints about our culture so that we can survive and thrive in a new way on this planet. Thanks for reading and sharing the Revealing the Mystery Blog, and may your experience of the Supermoon and all the exciting changes be a blessing to you. Hang in there and take good care of yourself. With love, Isaac ![]() Venus Retrograde in Virgo/Leo – July 25th to September 6th-7th, 2015 By Isaac George July 24th, 2015 “One birth was given to you by your parents, the other birth is waiting. It has to be given to you by yourself. You have to father and mother yourself.” - Osho This month we have a four planet pileup on the celestial motorway, and a fifth vehicle is approaching the scene of the accident and she is too busy texting her boyfriend on her smartphone to notice. Prepare for impact! I’ve been reading too many other astrology posts about the Venus Retro, and so perhaps I should get that out there front and center. Instead, I’d like to take a different tack regarding astrology, the current spate of retrograde planets, and Venus in particular. Between July 25th and early October it’s going to be one thing after another, and since I feel to wander into the nether regions from my usual astro-babble in this report, it might still be useful to provide you with a map of the roadside attractions over the next few month or so. Try not to linger too long at any one of them though. The term “tourist trap” definitely applies here, along with cheaply made souvenirs and questionable snack foods. My focus next week will be on Uranus in Aries retrograde, and then I'll be back in mid-August with a more in depth examination of the action coming up in September. As we begin, please keep in mind that Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Chiron are already in retrograde motion. For your entertainment, I present the line up between now and August 31st – 1. July 25th: Venus at 00 degrees of Virgo stations (stopping) in preparation to go retrograde (time for review!). (Note: this is also the “Day Out of Time” in the Mayan Long Count Calendar) 2. July 26th: Venus is now retrograde at 00 degrees, 45 minutes at 9:56am UT (10:56 BST). Mars at 21 Cancer trines Chiron at 21 Pisces, and squares Uranus at 20 Aries. Mercury is conjunct Sun at 6 and 3 degrees of Leo. The Moon and Saturn are almost exactly conjunct at 28 Scorpio. Uranus is stationing to go retrograde! (Note: July 26th in the Mayan Calendar is the first day of their New Year) 3. July 27th: Uranus goes retrograde at 20 degrees Aries. 4. July 31st: Full (Blue) Moon at 7 degrees of Aquarius. 5. Aug 3rd: Saturn goes direct at 28 degrees of Scorpio. 6. Aug 5th: Venus and Jupiter at 28 degrees of Leo will be in a waning square to Saturn at 28 degrees of Scorpio. Remember – Jupiter expands the effect of this square! 7. Aug 14th: New Moon at 21 degrees Leo, Venus conjunct at 23 Leo. 8. Aug 29th: Full Moon at 6 degrees Pisces. Neptune conjunct Moon, Jupiter conjunct Sun. 9. Sept.1st: Mars conjunct Venus at 14 degrees, 55 minutes of Leo, quincunx Pluto at 13 degrees, 6 minutes of Capricorn, trine the Moon at 12 Aries (Uranus not far away at 19 Aries), and Pallas Athena at 14 degrees of Sagittarius. Sun and Neptune almost exactly in opposition to each other at 8 degrees Virgo and Pisces respectively. The Nodes are at 2 degrees Libra-Aries, and getting closer to moving into Virgo and Pisces, and the South Node is now in a loose out-of-sign trine to Saturn in Scorpio – old patterns from past lives emerge. A very active day! 10. Sept. 7th: Venus goes direct in Leo at 14 degrees, 24 minutes. This is close to the same degree Venus was at when it entered the shadow period just around the Solstice on June 21st. As you may surmise, the next 35-40 days are going to be quite a journey of discovery…in many guises. I would like to remind my readers that the overall tone still in effect during all of these transits is the Uranus-Pluto cycle recently completed in March. This still rings on through all of this…a fundamental note that our inner ear is listening to regardless of the noise levels in the foreground. The subharmonics to the Venus Retrograde are Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Chiron all retrograde as well. A change of consciousness is taking place, but is it all that we are hoping for? Here is where I may diverge from the conventional path regarding the nature and values we assign to Venus. Venus isn’t just about our love life, or money, or creating a beautiful living environment. In the sign of Leo, it is not just about love affairs, frivolity or fun. Leo can also take itself too seriously, as in trying too hard to be the center of attention. Venus can be lazy and lackadaisical…inattentive and selfish. There can be a tendency with Venus in Leo to become narcissistic or obsessive with the reflection of others (“oh yes, your Highness, you ARE beautiful!). This is the archetype of the Dark Queen in the fairy tale of Snow White. Who the heck is the fairest of them all! Above all, this transit will test all of us in one particularly sensitive area – the wounded or immature Feminine within all of us, whether male or female. I would like to illustrate this point by quoting from a recent article about Venus Retrograde from astrologer Sarah Varcas. I was particularly touched by her following words… “The challenge of this Venus retrograde is to bridge the gap between isolated self-reliance and nourishing interdependence. We do this by embracing those Virgoan nuances. Venus cannot live only within and remain happy, healthy and whole. She needs connection, comfort, affection and attachment to thrive. Venus fans the flames of love and brings us together to share it. She naturally reaches out to connect, not within to detach.” (Read the full post here). With Venus moving retrograde from staid and analytical Virgo back into Leo, there may be a danger of spending too much time in self-reflection. Yes, it doesn’t help to constantly seek attention from outside of ourselves, and demand the loyalty and admiration of others. Nor is it healthy for us to feel that the only way to feel empowered and safe is to look at our outer relationships as inferior or as a threat to our independence. People will test us, and our patience, during this time; however, I would caution against making any snap judgments or taking any unilateral action to wholeheartedly embrace or strongly disengage from anyone. Regret is not something you want to be fiddling around with come the middle of September. There may be painful relationship memories arising, or some long lost love from the past may show up that will activate these patterns. Someone new may enter your life to complete unfinished business that looks and feels like someone from your past. Caution: is this in your best interest...or will there only be more tears? Perhaps you are in a relationship that is teetering on the brink. Decide if it is worth staying in or getting out, but don’t take any firm action until after Venus moves direct on September 6th-7th. Or better yet, make a plan, and don’t make it real until after October 9th, when Venus moves out of the retrograde shadow period. This doesn’t mean remaining silent till the last minute, so engaging in dialogue consciously to discover what is really in the hearts of all parties, especially your own, is certainly appropriate. Honour yourself first, but respect the feelings of others as much as possible. I feel we are just now learning how to merge and unmerge consciously with each other. Empowerment does not include distancing from, or exiling yourself or the other. Merging does not have to mean a loss of self, at least not in the old way. However, unless you are willing to relinquish some control, you cannot even know your larger Self, or the Self within the Other. I wonder if some of our current focus on authenticity and empowerment is in some way caught up by our egos attempting to assert even more control. As most spiritual disciplines teach, only a reduction of ego can accompany a corresponding degree of realization of our real “self”, which is inimically connected to the entire Web of Life and all beings in it. We need to become more aware and self-compassionate, not more egocentric. We are in the midst of re-parenting ourselves, and we will need others to assist us in this quest for sanity. Life is not at war with itself…except in our own minds. An inner marriage will also have to have its counterpart in the outer…it must in order to demonstrate something different to human consciousness. This is how we learn and evolve…we observe and emulate from something that looks and feels better. Ultimately, this is a quest for Love…love that is real, sustainable and fulfilling. True to the nature of Leo, it’s all about the Heart. A lion is fierce, protective, and diligent. The opposite polarity of Leo is Aquarius, so it is essential to be mindful that this work of the Self is bound up with and benefits, or harms, the wider community we belong to. What we think, how we express our thoughts and feelings, and how we act upon them in our lives touches everyone at some level. We must be just as eager to receive as to give, to be nurtured as to nurture. What that will look like and how you desire for it to show up in your life, in equality and in tenderness, is completely up to you. Let us be courageous as is possible. Don’t fear Love, for Ecstasy is our natural state of being. But first, we will have to be surrendered to it.
