![]() by Isaac George May 20th, 2016 So much is happening now, all the time and in all manner of ways, that sometimes it seems that we would all be much better off of a planetary holiday was declared so that absolutely nothing was going to happen…at all, for maybe a week or two? The reasons for this are not simply all explained away via astrology. I’ve always been fascinated with astrology, and it’s been running there parallel to all of my metaphysical and spiritual experiences and investigations since my mid-twenties. I never planned on becoming an astrologer. Then again, I never planned on a lot of what has happened in my life. Not…even…close. Cue my ego shrugging and looking a bit lost When it comes right down to it, what’s happening in these times is way bigger than that. In fact, it’s a big deal. Astrology is a convenient language form, symbolic and metaphorical in nature, to describe an interactive process of consciousness between an individual’s soul memory (karma) and the 3D construct we are living in. There is also karma for groups of people, and nations too, but we’ll keep it simple for this example. If you were able to teleport to somewhere outside of the orbit of Pluto, your birth chart would no longer be of use. Your perceptual compass and framework would be drastically altered, and I dare say, so would your ideas about yourself and the local universe you’d inhabit. I would imagine that the same thing happens after we die. A completely new reference point is acquired. What is pertinent right now is to recognize the increasing interest in the awareness of the masses about energy, astrology, spirituality, healing modalities and more. I feel this is directly proportional to a massive awakening process that was predicted in astronomical and astrological terms, i.e. the Mayan Calendar with its end date of December 21st, 2012, and other major indicators that show that we have already crossed the boundary, and are literally finding ourselves in a sort of borderland area between the old paradigm and one we haven’t entered as yet. There is always a lot of astrology happening, but the difference now is that more people are actually feeling these changes in their awareness, their emotions and even their physical bodies and local ‘reality’. And it is mighty stressful, exciting or downright confusing to many. Some of this is due to the pace of life in modern competitive-based societies and the electronics in our environment. We may have uneasy feelings that our authorities or experts are at the end of their tether and really are pretty clueless. This all contributes to the general anxiety I hear about from clients and friends. It also contributes to the arising of many people who are the new leaders; those who either are setting the pace, or are in a preparatory stage to do so sometime in the near future. Part of my knowing is that this seems to be a way for our planet, Gaia-Sophia, to get our attention. She is awake and shifting in response to a number of stimuli…or perhaps She is initiating it all deliberately! Global climate weirdness may be partly due to the destructive impact of our industrious missteps and technological blunders, but I feel that our Sun’s recent antics and the increasing incidence of the weakening of our planet’s magnetic field may also be playing a big part. There are simply too many influences and factors to take into account here, so I recommend you engage in your own research. The difference between ‘now’ and 25 years ago is that while we are in this borderland state we are feeling like we have been stripped of a layer of ego insulation that kept us from feeling too much of it at any given moment. That’s changing…fast. We are no longer immune to feeling the collective space we are in, and that includes the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms…the entire biosphere! We are becoming more aware of boundaries and lack of boundaries. We are becoming more empathic, and it’s very disconcerting for the uninitiated. Reactionary behaviours are the response to unfamiliar emotions and unconscious material. There is a feeling of having less control, of free-floating ‘impendingness’ and it is not at all easy to cope with on some days. The invisible is becoming more and more relevant. This is the Big Deal. We are in it, and no kidding. One primary arbiter of all of this energy, in astrobabble, is the planet Jupiter, and the sign of Virgo. The other is Mars and Saturn, both retrograde in Sagittarius. Jupiter is the super optimist, full of joy, exuberance and all manner of Sagittarian silliness. Virgo is all about Service, and its shadow compulsion is overthinking it all, and wearing a mask…keeping up appearances. Jupiter in Virgo might be a call to happy service, balanced with individuation into our True Nature. The opposite of Virgo is Pisces, the realm of compassion, dreams and endings. Its shadow compulsion is self-delusion and addictions. We’ve been use to 2,000 plus years of serving the ‘system’ and masking our deepest human instincts under religions based on self-sacrifice and hating our material connection to the Earth, the body. That paradigm is dying. That’s why there’s so much grieving under the surface. We feel our self-betrayal as personal…and it is! The internal promises we made to keep ourselves safe so we could be acceptable and not lose our tribe, our community, our beloveds, has cost so much to maintain. We can now begin to lay aside those burdens, and walk together as equals. But first, there are some old hurts to heal. This healing is underway beginning now, and extending into August and into September. This is the Mars-Saturn retrograde bit, covering the fields that Saturn was plowing through in 2014-15. So I’ve got a suggestion just for a week or two. Avoid all extremes. Try not to force being positive, and try not to indulge too much in feeling overwhelmed or low. Feel into things, rather than ramming ahead with what you think is best for you. Try slowing down and asking for the guidance you need to come from inside you. Engage with your feelings and emotions; nurture your body, commune with nature or natural things as much as possible. Eat well…whatever feels right to you right now. Get sleep when you need it, even if it’s three in the afternoon. Limit watching network television. Take a break from trying to drown out the silence with your ear buds and iPod or other devices Above all, ask for help. Ask for hugs, a shoulder to cry on, or hand to hold. Ask whatever your idea of the Divine is for help, no matter what it is you are needing, and allow yourself to be provided for. Keep it simple. Don’t overthink this…okay? Try it…take a vacation from the maelstrom. Ask to be shown a new way. Ask for a new deal. Here’s a manifestation hint: Give away freely that which you need. Hugs, a shoulder for someone else to cry on, and friendly ear to give a listen. Money for the homeless one on the street. Let go of your expectations. You don’t have to keep the cards that are in your hand just now. Lay those things down. You deserve better. Much more better. Ask for it…and remember this. You chose to be here now, to participate in the Big Deal, and you do deserve the very best, of everything. Drop your masks, drop your karma, and drop your resistance. We’re all infinite beings in an infinite loving Cosmos and we are always safe. Choose Life, every single time. No….matter…what. ![]() Lunar Eclipse – March 23rd, 2016 By Isaac George March 22nd, 2016 "In true love, happiness is not an individual matter. There is no distinction between the one who loves and the one who is loved. Your suffering is my suffering; my happiness is your happiness. Lover and beloved are one." ~Thich Naht Hanh The bookend to the Solar Eclipse of March 8th-9th will arrive tomorrow at 12:01pm GMT. This is a partial or annular Lunar Eclipse of the Full Moon, with the Sun at 3 degrees 17 minutes of Aries, and the Moon opposite at 3 degrees 17 minutes of Libra. As I recounted in my Sunday blog, “Creative Chaos”, there are strong connections to what happened six months ago during the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of September 2015. You can read or re-read that post here. Suffice it to say that this is a fundamental reset of the “game”, and it will not only set the tone for the next six months, till the eclipses of September 2016, but quite conceivably for many months beyond that juncture. Time will tell, as it always does. Into the Way Back Machine! I’ve been looking back to when there were any lunations (New Moons, Full Moons) or eclipses in Aries and Libra between 2011 and 2013. I selected 2011, because Uranus entered the sign of Aries on March 11th, 2011…the day of the massive temblor and tsunami that devastated Sendai province in northeastern Japan. I found two charts, one in March of 2012 and another one also in March of 2013 that are very close to the one this is coming up this Wednesday, and is also strongly connected to the “Blood Moon” Lunar Eclipse of September 28th, 2015. In all of the four charts the Sun and Moon are tightly arranged between 2 degrees and 7 degrees of these two signs. I’ve included them with the chart for our Lunar Eclipse tomorrow at the end of this blog. Finally, the last blast from the past to reveal was that there was a Lunar Eclipse at almost the exact same degrees of Aries-Libra as the next one this Wednesday (chart below as well). If you can reel in the years and go back to March 24th,1997, reflect on what was happening for you at that time, it may put a huge spotlight of understanding on your current situation, and provide you with the wisdom and courage to act in accordance with your Inner Truth. "With Aries-Libra, relating is the name of the game. The challenge is how do we balance the needs or desires of the Self (Mars-Masculine) with the needs and desires of The Other (Venus-Feminine)? The seemingly eternal dance between these two forces makes for a lot of interesting poetry, music, art, fables…and tragedies." Oh, You Again…” Simply stated, Aries is all about the Self…”I Am.” Equally simple is that Libra is about “The Other.” There is always a relationship happening in everything…throughout the Cosmos, from the subatomic level to the galaxies themselves. Some physicists theorize that there are bonds and bleedthroughs between parallel Universes. Anyway, the Aries-Libra polarity represents the astrological version of The Lovers card in the Tarot, or the Sacred Marriage from the mystery schools. It manifests from the strictly personal level to the Universal Level. Beyond the duality of form, they are Divine Principles that emanate into all manifest forms, and yet are completely fused in the Absolute and are completely indivisible. That’s big supra-metaphysical theorising on my part, but feels right as a model. With Aries-Libra, relating is the name of the game. The challenge is how do we balance the needs or desires of the Self (Mars-Masculine) with the needs and desires of The Other (Venus-Feminine)? The seemingly eternal dance between these two forces makes for a lot of interesting poetry, music, art, fables…and tragedies. From an evolutionary astrological perspective for the past four years we have been on a revolutionary road of dismantling and reforming our psyches through the uncomfortable crucible of intimate and challenging relationships, and all of them have been steeped in a shamanic unravelling and healing of our relationship karma. When I use the word “karma”, I’d like for you to reference that word in a new way. Think “unconscious patterns based on equally hidden vows or beliefs”. Throughout time and space, we have met ourselves again and again with many of our “other selves” and have sought to balance the eternal dance that is ultimately about realising Love as a state or condition of being. "Perhaps the age of digital love is about to have a rude awakening, or perhaps we are awakening to the rudeness of digital socialization." Is there a manual for this thing? Okay, it hasn’t been easy, and it’s not a process that is culminating with Wednesday’s latest edition of Aries-Libra lunations/eclipses. I don’t have a crystal ball, or a road map, or even a factory issued user’s manual, but I do sense that this event on Wednesday may be a gateway to the final purification of eons of relationship trauma and drama. At least that’s what my instincts are saying just now. We are being given an evolutionary push to change our beliefs, and more importantly, our understanding about the purpose and potentials of human intimacy and conscious partnerships. It can be sometimes difficult to discern, but almost every challenge our species now faces, from how we care for ourselves or look after each other, to how we reinvent and reimagine our economic, political, scientific and societal structures… to how we end our mistreatment of the planet and her resources, hinges on how much we trust in ourselves and the ones we love the most. We pump the message that we need to love ourselves, and yet we are starving for connection. In his cynical and disenfranchised tone, Elliot, the hacker in the new television drama “Mr Robot”, bemoans the current state of human love: “[…is it because we’re] spamming with our running commentary of bullshit masquerading as insight, our social media faking as intimacy?” Perhaps the age of digital love is about to have a rude awakening, or perhaps we are awakening to the rudeness of digital socialization. "I feel that real spiritual love, one that is rooted in mutual respect and deep honesty, is extremely romantic. It gives us that sense of “coming home” that we all long for…and know we deserve." The Rest of the Story While the foreground is the Sun and the Moon in the Lunar Eclipse, the background cast is equally important. The day after the Eclipse Saturn will station retrograde in Sagittarius. He will move direct on August 14th at 9 degrees of Sag, and be very close to Mars at 5 Sagittarius. The upcoming Mars retrograde in Sagittarius and Scorpio is a story in and of itself, so I will save that for an April post. On the day of the Eclipse Saturn will be in a stressful T-Square with Venus and Neptune in Pisces, and retrograde Jupiter in Virgo. I feel that having this happen just before Saturn goes into inward (retrograde) motion is a phase of reviewing and integrating the energies and lessons of all the previous eclipses, and indeed, or all the Aries-Libra contacts of the past four years. It’s a time for introspection, and it won’t work to be doing hard-nosed analysing (Virgo) about matters of the heart and soul. The Venus-Neptune conjunction will be the main energy here…asking us to be compassionate and forgiving, and to also re-image a Higher aspect of romantic and intimate Love. I use the word romance not in a story-book way, but in a way to celebrate the “lift” that we experience with romantic love. I feel that real spiritual love, one that is rooted in mutual respect and deep honesty, is extremely romantic. It gives us that sense of “coming home” that we all long for…and know we deserve. I highly recommend this amazing video clip to get a better feel for what my poor words are trying to express. True Love and the Four Elements of Love – Thich Nhat Hanh. The first seven minutes carries the nugget of the message. Mars in Sagittarius will be trine the Sun and is sextile to the Moon. This adds a strong but egalitarian tone of asking that we tell the Truth…to ourselves and whomever we’re currently partnered with. Even if we are not with a significant other, our intention towards emanating compassion and love to those we are in connection with, in whatever form, will still have a potent effect. Ending conflict both from within and towards others is the idea. Mercury will be conjoined to the Sun as well, so there may be an impulsiveness to ask questions in a very rapid-fire style, like a special interrogator questioning a suspect in a crime. Uncomfortable but necessary truths may suddenly come to light. The juxtaposition between Mars and Mercury will be daunting, and a bit paradoxical. You may be thinking, "Do I stick to the hard facts only, or do I allow leeway for compassionate understanding?" I suppose the answer to that will depend on what type of information is unearthed. If there is no longer any resonance with your current situation, then this eclipse may signal that it’s time to move on and open to a higher more resonant partnership that is based on true love, transparency and equality. The asteroid goddess Juno is retrograde (inverted) in Scorpio, and will be in a harmonious flow with Venus and Neptune. The need for passion within our partnering is denoted by this placement. Juno typically is associated with the traditions of marriage, but in Scorpio, marriage is elevated to a sacrament through passion and sexuality. There can be no true intimacy without being naked in body and soul to the Beloved. This is soul Tantra, and is something we all possess, but has been civilised out of us and forgotten. Tantric practices were invented to reawaken us to the primal truth that is in the divine nature within our bodily forms. Ecstasy is a natural state that exists when we are in harmony with Nature, with the Goddess. "We all deserve the love that we give away, and the love that we receive. The union of hearts will be a potent power for changing the course of the future. Give freely…it all comes back to you in some way, and at some time." The Next Steps Between now and the next set of eclipses in September I feel that it will be a time of greater movement and greater clarity in our understanding of ourselves, of others and what our hearts and souls truly desire to create in this world. Everything is connected, and the arena of our interpersonal relationships echoes throughout the human and planetary construct. If we truly wish to have a different future, then the ghosts of our past must be confronted and lovingly and empathically embraced. We cannot cure prior wounding without acknowledging our held emotions and deep longings. The relationship issues we had with our parents are reflections of all of our previous bonding experiences with each other as lovers, spouses, siblings, parents or even just workmates and friends. To change the story of our personal and collective past is to alter the future. We have the potential to live the life of our dreams. I suggest that those dreams include others in many ways. To balance our needs with the greater needs of our entire species is the way forward. Everyone has a right to clean water, good food, warm shelter, comfortable clothing and personal safety. And everyone needs closeness, affection, recognition and love. Dr. Dean Ornish’s book, “Love and Survival” is a wonderful testament to the power of connection and what it means to be fully human. I recommend it to you as one of many potential guides to how we can imagine and create new and sacred ways of relationship, ways that don’t cause us to fall back into martyrdom or self-effacement. More importantly, we can end the cycle of heartache and heartbreak that is at the core of our spiritual wounding…the false sense that we are separate from our Source, and from each other. Move forward into the sacred marriage with your inner Beloved and invite that Beloved into your purpose for being here on this planet at this time. Let your deepest dreams and yearnings be expressed. Begin with yourself, then with your beloved, then in communion with others of your “tribe”, then in wider community. It grows exponentially when we choose love, collaboration and cooperation. We all deserve the love that we give away, and the love that we receive. The union of hearts will be a potent power for changing the course of the future. Give freely…it all comes back to you in some way, and at some time. With Love, Isaac I specialize in mentoring and coaching for singles and couples in the arenas of relationship and self care. No, not to a new house or anything that mundane, but She is shaking and moving. The energy shifts are palpable, and more and more folks are chipping in with reports of personal anomalous events of all types. It seems that the artificial electro-magnetic grid is eroding, showing signs of being under strain, and the 1% of the 1% also getting a bit nervous and nervy…about us. So, they have to ramp up the countermeasures you know…keep the public order and all that. Here in Ireland the Garda (national police) are not granting permits for anti-austerity protestors to go door to door soliciting for donations because they say the funds will be used in future protests to create public order offences. Anyone remember the movie “Minority Report” with Tom Cruise? This is the Celtic version of PreCrime at work. You ARE guilty for what you haven’t even thought about doing…yet. Similar things have happened and are happening globally. With next year’s squares between Saturn in Sagittarius and Neptune in Pisces, discovering what the truth is about anything will be like trying to nail Jell-O to the wall. Conversely, shocking revelations will also be occurring…the result of the Law of Unintended Consequences. At the least it will be entertaining. The American author Tom Robbins once wrote that “every big front has a big back.” What he meant is that everything has a counterpoint, a mirror image in reverse. So, the more light there is, the bigger the appearance of the shadow…or something like that. As we move closer towards the end of Saturn’s transit in Scorpio, sandwiched solidly between two eclipses, there may be some really weird stuff manifesting. As “they” say, forewarned is forearmed. It is also a fabulous opportunity to touch the realm of synchronicity and to shift into a new ways of navigating the Now…and that is what I wish to focus on in this brief essay. This almost total Solar Eclipse at 20 degrees of Virgo will take place at 7:41BST, 6:41UT in London this Sunday, September 13th (see chart below). Simultaneously Mercury will be at 14 Libra, and square to Pluto in Capricorn. The Eclipse will oppose Chiron in Pisces, and be inconjunct to Uranus in Aries. Saturn at 29 Scorpio will be felt as it touches the Nodes at 1 degree, 25 minutes of Aries-Libra. This combination has the potential for a number of blessings and opportunities. First, emotions may run rampant, but consider it a flash clearing and don’t identify with it to the point of “processing” everything. Simply witness and love each wave that happens. Secondly, with Mercury about to station retrograde (Sept.17th) in Libra, Freudian slips may be quite common. Loose lips may sink some ships, but the psychic debris of secrets or hidden things revealed are necessary whether within our interpersonal interactions in friendships and partnerships, or those of a larger narrative, i.e., the dialogue between leaders or nations. Chiron provokes the healing touch…Saturn and Pluto dredge up the secrets or hidden things. The Sun-Moon in Virgo will demand a purging in order to establish a pragmatic and purifying action to all that needs preserving, and all that needs purging. ![]() Virgo is the realm of The Goddess, the Divine Feminine and Sophia Herself (see image). The Vestal Virgins in the ancient world of the mystery schools and civilisations in the Levant were devoted to the purification rituals devoted to the Goddess that cleansed the psyches of individuals and whole societies. The Mystery School network provided the framework within which each culture could grow and flourish in harmony with the natural world and live harmoniously with other cultures. Wisdom is Sophia’s name, and this wisdom included the human body, emotions and the divine gift of “epinoia” or imagination. Pleasure was seen as restorative. Ecstasy was the way of communing with Nature and the Feminine…Wisdom was the result. For almost a thousand years, through the rise and fall of empires, the Guiding Light was nurtured and protected by priestesses and priests of the Goddess in sacred groves, from the British Isles to the Near East and India. No single aspect of human life was left out of consideration and Pagan Europe and the Near East survived and prospered for a very long time…until the rise of Christianity. But, that’s another part of the story. Chiron is an archetype from the pagan world, and his qualities align with Virgo and the 6th house and he is always seeking to serve and heal, to cleanse and renew, and to assist us in proceeding with our mission. The opposition of the Eclipse with Chiron is asking us to confront our pain, and to gain the gift that it can give us, that will empower us to move forward. New Moons are new beginnings, but the time between the last Full Moon and now constitutes the Waning, the letting go time. One of the best types of practices for the waning period is a burning ritual. Writing down what no longer serves you and consciously gifting it to the flames is one option. Consider it a clean break with what has been. No worries…you still possess the memories, but they no longer will possess you. You can determine what is “lit up” in your birth chart by this eclipse by using www.astro.com to view and print your natal chart. You’ll need your birth time, so check that out beforehand. Create a free account and then plug in the details of your nativity. Look for anything around 20 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius and Gemini. Look for any planet or angle (Ascendent, Descendent, Midheaven or IC) that is at or within 2 degrees of the Eclipse point. The degree of Mercury and Pluto is sensitive as well, 14 degrees of Libra and Capricorn (and Aries and Cancer). If you feel drawn to find out more and require some mentoring about the two eclipses (September 27-28 is the Total Lunar Eclipse) and Mercury Retrograde, consider getting a Transit Reading with me. More information can be found by clicking here. ![]() The Energy Times: Just got some more data from other subscribers, and there are more things happening within my observational range that’s also indicative of intense shifts. Power outages, computers and cell phones misbehaving, and in a recent extreme case, a Boeing 777 that was ready for take-off had both engines spontaneously catch on fire at McCarran airport in Las Vegas a few days ago. Passengers had to take selfies and grab hand luggage before evacuating the aircraft. Priceless moments to be shared back home apparently. Some folks feel that the slow down on the Internet is due to too much traffic, too much monitoring and data mining (Google, you have been named) and the Grid’s reaction to solar-induced geomagnetic storms. I vote for “all of the above”. Personally, I removed Google Chrome as a browser on my laptop and reverted to Firefox. Much faster response times, and a lot of the glitches I’ve experienced the last two months have vanished. I think hacking into browsers is on the increase too, as I encountered an attack yesterday and my antivirus and malware packages uninstalled Firefox as part of the quarantine and removal solution. Fortunately when I reinstalled it, all of my bookmarks were saved. The sensitive time ahead is between the two eclipses. The Total Lunar Eclipse on September 27th-28th, the so-called "supermoon" Blood eclipse, will be a whopper. Will preview that the week after next, around the 20th or 21st of September. Before that we have Saturn leaving Scorpio on the 18th of September here in Europe, the 17th in the N. America, and I may post a post-mortem on it a few days afterwards, plus speak about the Autumnal Equinox. Need to see what manifests first. Speaking of manifestations... From an astrologer’s perspective manifestation is expressed through Transits. Whatever is unconscious or unacknowledged will appear in the scenery to awaken us, to call attention to itself. Carl Jung called it destiny. The ancients called it Fate. Whatever you or I call it, it is the engine of Creation, because all thought has a single Origin. So this time and the times to follow may indeed feel “fated”, as if you are experiencing the Dreamtime as a participant and a Witness. That may be our role…each one of us a unique emissary of Spirit, the Original Thinker, so to speak. If it feels destined, it may be because our Soul chose it long before our ego decided upon it. Choice and free will...or is it fate? I feel that these perennial questions will attract more Wisdom to us in the near future. In the meantime, your Destiny is calling to you. With Love, Isaac P.S. Today is the 14th Anniversary of 9/11. The controversy is far from ended on this one. For something interesting to watch, I recommend this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufWggCESyDg ![]() by Isaac George July 4th, 2015 “Welcome to the new normal!” This was a favorite quip of a friend of mine that I first heard after my kundalini awakening got under way in the spring and summer of 1994. Such a prophetic and timeless phrase, and perfect for these timeless times as well. What is the “new normal”? Well, that depends on the day of the week now, as it is ever –changing. I know it’s been a while since my last post, but I’ve been inside of one of my ‘transformational’ episodes. And I had my birthday this past week. No, it doesn’t matter which one, but I do find it had significant astrology backing me up. The Jupiter-Venus conjunction in the evening skies, which has gotten a lot of attention in social media and elsewhere, was happening right on my birthday (June 30th). The Sun is a wake-up call, shining a light on things. The Moon is a reflective thing, uncovering the shadows. The Jupiter-Venus thing is like a hot date with loads of heart energy. Well, I’m ready to rock and roll I reckon…but what shall my heading be? With Mars next to my Sun degree, and Pluto and Moon all cosy together over in Capricorn, and all of it squaring the Nodes of the Moon…I feel, well, a bit like a pirate heading out on a new adventure. I sure would like to have Captain Jack Sparrow’s magic compass. Oh yes, mateys, THAT compass! Savvy? You see, I’m a movie buff. I feel movies contain messages, as do books, fine art and music. Poetry has loads of messages...amazing stuff. But movies are quite my favorite art form for a number of reasons. In any case, the compass in this particular set of films symbolizes something each and every one of us deals with. Those somethings are “desire” and “choice”. Ahh, desire. According to the Buddha, that cause of all suffering and pain in the human condition, this constant craving that K.D. Lang sings about, the unrequited hunger that is the fuel for the ego’s ambitions. But without the Desire, there wouldn’t even be an “us”, or a Universe, or this planet. The nature of desire had to come from somewhere and from something, don’t you think? Here’s another way to look at it. Instincts are what the animals have, and we have them too. Over thousands of years we’ve tried to repress or suppress them, tried to civilize ourselves. In the process we’ve trained ourselves not to trust our instinctual natures, and this has probably led to all sorts of psychological issues…and the burying of them en masse. Clinical psychology began as a way to understand primal urges and delve into the first layers of the subconscious mind. As a science, it’s still in its infancy. The latest findings in neurobiology is showing us that our conscious minds aren’t as all powerful as we have previously imagined, and the subconscious and the superconscious levels are at the root of our decision-making processes. Even our interpretation of the external environment affects us in more ways than we realize. For more information, read these articles just recently published: http://medicalxpress.com/news/2015-06-consciousness-believed-theory.html and http://www.lifetrainings.com/Your-unconscious-mind-is-running-you-life.html. Where I’m going with all of this is that in order to desire and actualize a new world, a new Earth if you will, we may have to alter our spiritual rules and perspectives about what our humanness is all about, and what our role within the framework of Nature might be. Curiosity helps, as does a willingness to jettison belief systems that are now an encumbrance rather than an asset. We need a new magic compass. We need to become the Pirates of Consciousness, willing to sail intrepidly into the unknown. This Compass is our intuition and instinct, and by merging consciously with it we return to the proverbial primordial state, but wide awake this time. To do this, our compass needs to be guided by our intelligent empathy, not the old “business as usual” left-brain drive and planning. A friend and fellow stargazer refers to this potential new way of being as “yintegrity”. His perspective is that our new sense of needing community (Age of Aquarius) needs to be balanced with our emerging “yindependence”; the valuing of self for Self’s sake. This cannot be realized as a naturally empowered state at the expense or cost of isolating ourselves from each other, Nature, or the wider Cosmos. It is a huge shift from competition to cooperation. The past on this planet has been all about power games…who has the most energy and how do I get some of that? Rather parasitic in practice and a no-win for everyone concerned. That’s what keeps the Karmageddon game going. Hey, back to the cinema for a moment. On my birthday I saw a new flick entitled “Tomorrowland”. This film is a must-see I feel, because it encapsulates all of the great problems and crises we currently face, and addresses how it is useless to become aware of our problems and go into despair and dystopian outcomes. In the story we see the optimist balanced against the pessimist within all of us, and in a classic twist of the old “end of the world as we know it” genre, provides some novel perspectives of how we can and should change our current trajectory. As the old adage goes, if you don’t change your direction, you’ll end up where you’re headed. "Tomorrowland" aptly demonstrates the power of the individual (Yintegrity +Yindependence) when coupled with the community at large, creating interdependence and mutual benefit. This was most uplifting for me when I saw it, because although we all need to feel powerful and sovereign as individuals, we also have a need to share that power and our gifts with those around us if we are to have any meaning and purpose to our lives. Power is such an issue these days isn’t it? I feel that our current concept of power is driven by fear, not Love. We feel we need to reclaim our power over our experience, or from others, and yet, when I look up into the vastness of the Cosmos, I feel that we don’t really understand the ramifications of what power is really about, or where it resides truthfully. I mean, really, we are all part of one power, one Life. You can’t “own” your power, because ultimately, you can’t own anything. This doesn’t mean you are owned by anything either, unless you allow yourself to be. Perhaps we will discover the true nature of power in a similar way to the Jedi philosophy from the Star Wars films. In that tradition (thanks George Lucas) the Force is a universal cooperative, intelligent and benign energy that emanates through all of Creation as it creates it. A Jedi merely learns or remembers to align with it, and then as he or she comes to direct it, it is symbiotically directing the individual too. The distinction between doer and deed blurs until there is a seamless flow of unity between cause and effect, problem and solution. It is a spiral of evolution through cooperation, not entropy through competition and predation. Recently someone sent some channelled information about the current conditions on our planet, and that unless there is a big shift soon we’re essentially out of time and luck. While there was an exhortation offered to engage in a positive thought process at a particular time and day in the near future, I feel that just meditating about a solution, or attempting to transcend the issues, doesn’t really cut it any longer. I used to think this stuff mattered and worked, and now I don’t think it so. If our intentions aren’t actionable, and translate into something tangible, it’s like wishful thinking and it will garner wishful results…in other words, not much really changes. Time we took our blinkers off and took a good hard look at our belief systems and see if they’re really useful any longer. If we keep doing the same thing over and over again in the hopes that something will change, and so far I don’t see how it’s really been changing things that much, then that is insanity. (Click here for the truth of where that concept came from) Positive thinking is just one component, and it will take a whole lot more than just that to shift the river into a new course. Remember, our power and our decision-making processes are still barely conscious! How does Jack’s Magic Compass figure into my theme? Well, if we are truly inheritors of limitless potential, and we align with our truest nature and desire, then our ‘compass’ – the guidance system at the core of our heart and Soul, will always point us towards the highest experience and outcome that is possible. A win-win for all concerned, as it were. When we follow our spirit, like Captain Jack Sparrow, we align with the Force, and therefore we can cooperate with a power that is greater than any single individual. When we engage and utilize this power to uplift others, find solutions, and discover what we haven’t yet dreamed of discovering, then anything truly becomes possible. If everyone aligns with their spirit, soul and heart, then…what might happen? Yo ho, me hearties! This Full Moon has so much baggage attached to it you’ll need a forklift or a crane to deal with it. The upside is that it’s about exposing what has been denied. The downside is that it’s about exposing what’s still being denied. Whoops! Supposedly The Buddha (the Enlightened One) was born when there was a Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus. If so, then this is a time that makes a strong case for it being necessary to see all of the false demons and paper tigers that are coming at us from under the rug of our subconscious. In other words, calling out denial is an act of enlightenment. Maybe you’ll see a self-sabotaging belief or attachment to a situation that’s been sucking on your Life Force for far too long. Remove that leech, banish that vampire! Or, perhaps someone close to you will reveal a Mr Hyde or Ms. Hyde side of their persona you’d never had an inkling was there in the first place. Call out the Pest Removal crew…and free yourself! The Sun is at 13 degrees of Taurus (celebrate our roots), the Moon is at 13 degrees of Scorpio (uncomfortable or held emotions). Those middle degrees are intense! The other players that are close to that degree are Pluto at 15 Capricorn (retrograde – “where’s my power?”), Jupiter at 13 Leo (“I’m in charge, aren’t I?”), Black Moon Lilith at 17 Virgo (“Don’t disrespect me!”), and Vesta at 16 Pisces (“What are my beliefs, and do they still work?”). But wait, there’s more! When you examine the center of this chart (see Figure 1 below) the aspect lines form an almost perfect hexagon, or six-pointed star. Whenever you have that geometry you also get a Mystic Rectangle between four points of the star (see Figure 2 below). Trace imaginary lines from the South Node in Aries (karmic baggage) to Mercury in Gemini (more data please!), North Node in Libra (my Authentic Soul Desire in Sustainable Relationship) to Saturn in Sagittarius (What is the truth here?), and there it is! A Mystic Rectangle is formed by four sextiles (60 degrees of separation), whereas a Grand Trine is formed between three points or planets at 120 degrees of separation. Get two Grand Trines interlinked and you get a Hexagon. You get “flow” with the Hexagon, and you get a high degree of synchronization with the four planets or points within the Mystic Rectangle. All this adds up to a great deal of power flowing from point to point to aid in the process of the Full Moon. In this case, letting go of what no longer serves, and doing whatever mourning or grieving that is needed in order to EN-LIGHTEN yourself of a karmic load. The other side of this configuration is the EM-POWERMENT of individuals to do some kind of soul-retrieval work, bringing back disowned or lost parts of the Psyche that were displaced due to being inappropriately being blamed for something, blaming oneself about something (regret), or splitting off parts of ourselves that we ditched into a gutter out of fear that we’d be judged or exiled for being unworthy. With Black Moon Lilith, Pluto and the Scorpio Moon in the mix, this is an especially potent time for women to reclaim their true shamanic roots.
With Uranus and Pluto still in strong aspect by a tense square, some of your soul retrieval work may take novel twists or turns. Or, your intensity around self-reclamation may earn you the title “uncaring” or worse. This event does have a tone of “don’t take anything personal”, but of course, it will be taken in just that way…for now. Weather the raging storms, and you will break into the clear, and so will everyone else. If all this seems confusing, try not to let it drop you into overwhelm. Do you know a bit about your birth chart? Then look to see where you have anything around 10-15 degrees of Taurus and Scorpio. Look at which house Venus rules (Taurus or Libra), and also where Pluto falls in your chart (co-ruler of Scorpio). Those positions will give you a hint what the themes of the denial/release are about, while the placement of the Sun and Moon, Pluto, etc. will show the houses where the activations will occur. Although this Lunation occurs Sunday in some parts of the globe, and Monday in the rest, the effects will be more visible for the next two weeks. In other words, there may not be any fireworks to observe on Bank Holiday Monday in Britain and Ireland. Too wet out there anyway (if you live there, you know what I mean). The upwelling will become apparent as the days tick off towards the New Moon in Taurus on the 18th of May, the next starting point in these exciting, but sometimes weird, times. Don’t book any wooden riverboat trips down Denial, and may the stars be ever in your favor. And as always, Peace, Isaac P.S. The website will be undergoing a major makeover during this coming week or so...it too desires to become enlightened :-). So, pardon our dust. Thanks! P.P.S. I find it wildly ironic that the day after this Full Moon is "Cinco de Mayo", which celebrates a major victory by Mexico against an invasion by France in 1862. Enjoy your favorite chilli, burrito or tostada with a Dos Equis, Carta Blanca or Pacifico brew, and declare your Yindependence. Ole'!
