![]() by Isaac May 1st, 2019 “If you learn music, you'll learn most all there is to know.” – Edgar Cayce, America’s Sleeping Prophet Greetings ~ Music and the sound of the human voice are very compelling mediums for the direct transmission of deeper spiritual truths and a wide variety of emotional states. In this dimension of duality, we are constantly immersed in a symphony of sound from cradle to grave. Our mother’s voice (and the attending nurses or doctors) are one of the first sounds we are exposed to. At our transition from this life, the voice of a relative or loved one may be the last thing that lingers in the memory of our soul. Edgar Cayce’s quote above wasn’t his only one regarding music or sound. He also stated that “music is the bridge between the Infinite and the finite.” There are dimensions of sound that reach beyond the physical world as well. Anyone can dream, and in our dreams we hear people speaking, sounds of the surroundings, even music, and all without the benefit of eardrums or auditory nervous system. Speaking of dreaming music…that was one of the ways that the famous German composer Ludwig Von Beethoven wrote most of his greatest symphonies late in his life. He’d gone deaf but would wake up in the middle of the night hearing entire orchestral arrangements and busily wrote them down on music staff paper. The 9th Symphony was composed this way, and he conducted this complex piece without hearing a single note of it! I believe he heard it though, with his inner ears. The vocal range and timbre (tonal quality) varies dramatically from one person to the next. Some people’s voices soothe while others irritate. Some persons possess a speaking or singing voice that seems somehow heavenly or comforting. Heart Resonance research is discovering strong neural links between the hearts and throats of some people, and in some cases the voices of these individuals are a carrier-wave of their heart frequency. Conversely, the experiments by Robert Monroe, founder of the Monroe Institute, determined that music and sound could have therapeutic applications as well as enhance brainwave states and levels of conscious experience. His Hemi-Sync recordings are quite well known for integrating the right and left hemispheres of the brain, bypassing the corpus callosum, an altering consciousness, thereby enhancing dreaming and even facilitating out-of-the-body experiences. Many mystic and shamanic traditions already knew this. Use of rhythmic drumming alongside other instruments could elevate shamanic states. Sometimes the use of psychotropic plants was also involved. In most cases though, drumming alone can induce deep changes in one’s psyche, and bring up and heal emotional traumas. I experienced such a transformation myself when participating in an Ojibwa sweat lodge ceremony. I had a deer antler to beat the dirt floor with in time with the other participants collection of rattles and hand drums. Very powerful indeed! I went through a 90-day detox afterwards. Music coupled with the human voice has also been a centrepiece of spiritual rituals and practices for much of humankind’s history. Chanting, vocalisations, lyrics with music, they all have been employed to bring us closer to a sense of the Divine within us, and in the Universe. In our times, guided meditations, music for relaxation, somatic therapies or massage hve become a huge part of the planetary awakening and healing processes. The boundaries between cultures and traditional eras have crumbled both in pop, worldbeat and trance music, as much as it has in alternative therapies. Our sonic palettes have expanded to include electronic beats and textures. When we activate our throat center, and cultivate the connection to our heart and sacral, the invocation to the sacredness in all life blooms. Personally I am fascinated by sounds of the natural world. The ambience of a forest with myriad bird and insect sound, wind in the tree canopy, or water coursing in its banks, all provide a rich backdrop for getting in touch within and appreciating the diverse realm of Nature. In my recording work, I like to employ sounds from outside as much as possible, as this helps us to naturally attune to the planetary pulse, the Schumann Resonance, or a bio-electromagnetic field of Gaia. I also rely on ambient music to unwind and center, and favour the new legions of guitarists creating sound beds and dream beds that have a deep emotional core. Check out the albums by David Helpling and Jon Jenkins to see what I mean (Treasure, The Crossing, and Found). I’m first and foremost an electric guitarist and taught myself how to play and compose on a synthesizer. My home digital recording studio is no replacement for playing live with other musicians, but it has been an incubator for my personal compositions and produced my one and only CD with it. From around 2012 I occasionally dabbled with helping alternative therapists, counsellors and coaches to create their own guided meditations, online tutorials, or soundtracks for video. Then something happened two years ago during a time I was in a slump and feeling like I’d lost something vital to myself. A quick session with an amazing Tarot reader in Dublin set me straight. She sternly stated how important playing music and sharing my musical gifts were, and how I’d been lazy about it. Her words brought tears of longing to my eyes, and I remembered what a powerful force for self-expression and losing one’s egocentric perception playing my guitar was for me. She encouraged me to join a band, play a few gigs, and have some fun. I also started offering my recording engineering and producer skills to the healers and counsellors again too. Well, here I am in the fifth month of the year, and I’m once again helping others to realize their creative and professional dreams to put their voice and vision out there through the medium of voice and sound and on video. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to record your own voice with music, but the technology is too much for you to get your head around, or you’re afraid of how you’ll sound or whatever, I’d like to help. You can arrange a free call with me to see how you can get started even if you don’t have the knowledge or equipment to do so now. By the way, part of my background was in the music retail industry, and I not only know the gear and how to use it, I’ve also written and spoken copy for radio advertisements. I can be your voice coach as well! The other bonus is that I was constantly using my own guided meditations in public events and private workshops for almost 15 years, so I know how to coach you in how to craft your presentation as well. ![]() By Isaac George January 2nd, 2019 Well, the final installment of this series had a to take a backseat to preparations for our Yule feasting and fellowship with family. The rest of 2018 was spent in hibernation from virtually everything. Usually my week between the Solstice and New Year’s is spent visiting with friends, going shopping, or recovering in general from too much food and libations. This time it’s been spent in deep quiet, including naps, old movies, a brief overnighter to a nearby hotel and spa, with some walks and swimming. But frankly, it feels like a big sigh of relief that 2018 will be fading into the rear-view mirror of life soon. So, what about 2019? What will it bring, and more importantly, how should we prepare for it? I will present a very in-depth 2019 forecast sometime during the first half of January, a throwback to my old “state of the planet” posts, which will cover the current energies and what we can expect for the first six months or so. What I’m going to cover here is more about preparing the ground, so to speak. I know that most of you like to create a vision for the next 12 months and make your intentions. All well and good, and it is quite important to be clear about what it is you are letting go of from 2018, and what you’d like to experience next. However, I will suggest that this next year and the one after will be a bit less about personal achievements as you’ve known it, and more about discovering what your consummate role and mission as a soul is in concert with the Whole for the decade ahead. It’s prepping for the long term, not just the short. 7 Steps for Sanctuary Maintenance The first thing we will be doing for ourselves is visioning and writing down the intentions and priorities for 2019 that we consciously choose. Part of this is to shift into a higher degree of self-care on all levels. Since the frequency and pace of things will continue to ramp up, it will become increasingly necessary to cultivate good strategies for the proper functioning of our bodies, minds, and souls. In times of lots of change a firm foundation begins with maintenance. I’m calling it “sanctuary maintenance”, which refers to all aspects of our human lives on this planet – physical, environmental, electromagnetic, psychic, mental and emotional. The primary ingredient is to make a choice to align deeper with the Earth via Nature and our bodies/mind system. The divine planetary intelligence (Sophia) is our gateway to the higher realms of luminosity that is Source. Easy to do this…very easy in fact. But it will take some transformational steps. Real mastery is in how you choose to align with what supports Life, and in removing what isn't healthy for you. Real sovereignty is the empowerment to make the changes you feel are right for you, so pick and choose from the list below what you sense is appropriate for you. 1. Spiritual: Decide to spend more quiet time each day either meditating or deep breathing, and silently intention to expand your understanding of your role here. We, of ourselves, are all deeply connected spiritual beings already, all the time. What gets in the way is the noise and static we create or surround ourselves with. Even 5 minutes here or there, especially when you notice your body is tense or you are clenching (holding) in some way will benefit. 2. Your body sanctuary: Connect with Nature more, either by taking walks, communing with pets, doing more deep breathing, and tuning into what the body really wants in the way of rest, nutrition, or supplements. Grounding and earthing are always a useful technique. I’ve included a document to download for this below. Diet and the food we consume now is very much a part of this. We’ve gone completely vegetarian the last 9 months, and are leaning towards vegan, and the shift in consciousness and body awareness is noticeable. The benefits of little or no meat consumption is very helpful in reducing climate disruption and excess pollution. We’ve even lost weight without dieting! 3. Digital detox (all levels): Do this for longer than a few days! I plan to turn my smartphone into a dumbphone, by removing and/or disabling a load of apps at the first of the year. I’m being extremely serious about reducing social media and internet time down to the bare minimum. Unless you need these tools for your work/career, try to keep your personal screen time to virtually nothing for a few days a week. Notice when your where your addiction kicks in, then gently and lovingly ask yourself to go a few more hours or days without checking your phone apps. 4. Mental sanctuary: The mind and brain don’t have a firewall! Find some sort of protection from EMF and EMR (electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic radiation) for yourself and your devices and use them. We use a product called energyDots from here in the U.K. and they really do work! If you need help assistance with obtaining some, just email me for more information and pricing if you live outside the U.K. I’ve also included a document below about the effects of geomagnetic stress on the human body. Again, grounding to the Earth is one of the best ways to cancel out EMF induced stress in our cellular structures and central nervous systems. 5. Emotional detoxing. Are there certain individuals or social situations that leave you feeling drained or irritated? Well, it may be time to set better boundaries, call a time-out, or disengage entirely. Which is more important; your spiritual and emotional peace of mind or pleasing others? Another source of emotional toxicity is in refusing to feel things, which then build up to a crisis point and manifest in unpredictable ways. Long term EMF exposure and information overload can numb us out and reduce empathetic awareness. EFT (emotional freedom technique) is one method, or just get in touch with the emotion of the moment and experience it lovingly and consciously. Sometimes though, a deep emotional response is due to something the collective consciousness is experiencing, or it can be induced by solar or geomagnetic activity. Stop and ask yourself, “is this mine?”. Employing kinesiology techniques correctly will always provide you with the answer you seek. 6. Psychic Maintenance: This is important now and will only become even more so as we move forwards. Unless you’re living off-grid and aren’t online, then you’ll know what I mean. The collective consciousness matrix is very strong, and maintaining a solid ground and connection with one’s core isn’t at all easy when you’re immersed in the amount of digitized and hyperdimensional information we’re swimming in. Performing personal clearing and spiritual hygiene is essential. Sometimes earthing will do the trick, or have a sea salt or Epsom salts bath with some lavender oil thrown in. Smudging with cedar sage is effective, and with dragon’s blood resin, even more so. Try new techniques too…as older ones don’t evolve with the times. Email me if you require more assistance. 7. Environmental maintenance: Your home is your sanctuary, so tend to it. Do you have plants in it? Do you keep it clean and well-organized? Does it feel fully like “your” space, your home? If not, populate it with art or icons that reflects and invokes the type of emotional, physical, psychic, mental and spiritual feeling you want in yourself. Recommend you avoid CFL or LED light bulbs too! Compact fluorescent bulbs off-gas mercury and other toxins as they age. LED’s are notoriously bad for melatonin hormone production, as the emphasis on blue spectrum light affects the pineal gland in the brain (which is our 3rd Eye in traditional mysticism and is also find in our cerebrospinal fluid). I’m offering this information here because for establishing a stronger spiritual connection within and with the natural forces in the world is essential in order to become attuned to the actual truth about what is happening, even if those truths are uncomfortable or disconcerting. Better a painful truth, then continuing to believe in sweet-sounding lies. Artificial-everything and fraud is rampant, and simulations are becoming so pervasive as to convince us that this IS the new reality we want. Quite simply, it isn’t. Technology, or the addiction to it, is distancing us further from our primary spiritual and biological orientations, and it creates trauma bonding to things rather than healthy, thriving connections to organic Life in all its beautiful diversity. Becoming more sensitive to our bodies, our deeper needs, other people, animals, plants, stones, and the rhythms of Nature creates health on all levels and ensures our mutual survival. Finally, I highly recommend trying out the following exercise sometime before January 11th. Simply get quiet and sit in meditation for a few minutes. Have a pen and paper handy. Breathe deeply. Once you’re relaxed, start with reviewing 2018. Think about the plusses and minuses you experienced. What was your biggest joy? What was your hardest challenge, and what was your biggest learning? After a few minutes, open your eyes and write these down. I made a page with “+” on one side and minus sign the other and list these things in order of importance from the top-down. Next, get back into the silence again…this time focusing on the present moment. How do you feel in yourself? Check your emotional-mental temperature. Can you feel your Heart and Soul, and if not, why? What would you like to change in how you feel, and what can your Soul give you to do that? Finally, what do you need or want to let go of from 2018 and the years leading up to it? When you’re done, open your eyes and write that all down. Now we come to 2019. Go into the silence once more. Now see yourself on January 1st, 2020. Looking back over 2019, what are the highlights of the year? What did you overcome or accomplish? Where did you really shine? How did it feel? Free up your feelings and imagination to imagine that life you lived during this year as if it’s already happened! Now, finally, what singular thing that you received from your future self that helped you to experience the wonders of your life in 2019? After a few more minutes, open your eyes and write all of what you saw and felt down. There, that is your Plan for 2019…in a nutshell. If I can be of assistance to you in realizing more of your True Self and come more fully into a deep alignment with your core desires and sacred role in the world, then click on the link below to explore how we might work together to bring it into your experience in 2019. Commit to your soul, your humanity, and to your home…this Earth. The Slow Life isn’t dull, it’s just a metaphor for changing your perceptions to see the beauty that is in you, and that can be created in the world around you. If you don’t slow down, you may just miss out on the best that Life has to offer. ![]() By Isaac George Oct 23rd, 2018 “Stars impel, they do not compel.” – Chaldean Astrology Being human these days is almost becoming a revolutionary act. The Internet and social media always beckon, our devices and faith in technology tends to obscure the significance of our own biological landscape, and our quasi-divine origins. Enlightenment won’t be found anytime soon in a smartphone, or another meme. From the astrological perspective, the Show Just Goes On…and on and on. Can’t stop it, or slow it down. If you try, it might just run you over. Tomorrow’s another Full Moon, but it’s more than that. The involved planets and the archetypes are mirroring our predicament, and sheds a big light on some possible solutions. As individuals and as a species our challenges are numerous and obvious. We ignore climate change, water scarcity, and environmental damage and destruction at our own risk. The potential for rapid personal growth and understanding are there too, but it most certainly is tempered by the sobering fact that everything and everyone has an influence on the whole…and vice versa. The Full Moon is in Taurus and conjoined in the sky with the planet of Love and the Feminine = Venus. She’s in Scorpio and retrograded (turning focus inwards and investigative). Emotions will run high and deep right up to the Full Moon slated to occur at 3:49pm British Summer Time, and 6:49am Pacific Daylight Time. After the zenith of totality is past, the pressure cooker of the past two weeks will begin to lessen. But wait, there’s more! (see chart below) Venus is opposed by another retrograde powerhouse – Uranus in Taurus. Since Uranus entered the sign of the Bull in mid-May, he’s been stirring up the fires under the surface, resulting in major earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, climate events, and economic ones too. With it opposing Venus and the Moon, and conjunct the Sun at 1 degree of Scorpio, anything goes. It could trigger a surprise, a blessing, or a realization. Loving the Earth and the Natural World may become a sudden epiphany for some. Another manifestation might be a big correction in stock markets, or some ugly confrontation or dirty secret coming to light about the economy, politics, or the environment that may shock or surprise us. Lastly the Full Moon and Uranus-Venus oppositions are squaring the Nodes of the Moon in Leo and Aquarius. This will activate the need to focus intensely on what is happening in the fullness of NOW! It is a lens through which we see the mistakes of the past and the way to move forwards into the future. With the South Node in Aquarius, it will be about revealing our deep memories of failed Utopian civilizations like Atlantis or Lemuria, and all the wounding and regret they engendered. With the North Node in Leo, it will be a last chance review about how courage, especially spiritual courage centered in the heart, will be the primary way to move forwards with the work there is to do in front of us. The Nodes will change signs soon too…and move into Cancer and Capricorn in mid-November. On a personal level relationships both past and current are lit up. So are the core issues karmic and otherwise that are related to our relationships, especially mother-father ones, and archetypal ones (God the Father?) All relating is undergoing pressures to evolve too, and Pluto (Scorpio) is certainly at play here with the Sun and Venus in that sign now. In summary, no single celestial event has the power to change us. Only we have that within. With the calculations and archetypes involved, my take is that there is a clear message for tomorrow about how we are called to value our humanity more, to see it as truly divine and superior to our technologies. Our predilections, our foibles, even our most disastrous beliefs and mistakes, can’t obscure the potential for love, joy, humour and kindness that we are capable of. Our bodies are more than temples, and our lives are more than dust. We are stardust, and mud, and emotions. We are human beings. We belong here, and we are being called to rise to the challenge of creating a new world from the ashes of the old. *Isaac George works as an intuitive spiritual mentor and evolutionary astrologer, author, public speaker and workshop leader. To those of you over in my old homeland of the USA, I hope you enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving with your families and friends. They don't observe T-Day here in the UK, but frankly, my waistline won't miss out much. The next holiday season will be arriving in about 25 days from now. I want to ask you something. As 2017 is drawing to a close, how has your year been? Be honest with yourself now... have all your goals, hopes and dreams you intended at the beginning of this year been realized? Bottom line, are you actually more fulfilled, healthy (emotionally, mentally and physically), prosperous and happy than you were in January? If your answer is "Yes", then good on ya! If your answer is "heck no!", then read on. No matter which side of the equation you find yourself after that question, I feel you'd agree with me on a couple of key points. 1) This planet is a radiant and beautiful place... and is very much worth preserving. 2) There's a lot going on in the world that isn't okay, that isn't radiant and beautiful... or fair to all. 3) That there needs to be a saner, better way to live that isn't so costly and destructive to our souls, psychologically physically, socially or environmentally. 4) That we can, and indeed must, find the personal and collective will, guided by our Creator, to envision and create a new world that is a type of heaven on the Earth. From the burgeoning refugee crisis in the Middle East, to the opoid epidemic sweeping the United Sates; from the human trafficking and sexual abuse that seems pervasive everywhere, to the widening gap between the elite who create and control more and more of the global wealth and resources; from the crushing hunger and homelessness... and hopelessness that we see around us, to the increasing breakdowns of individual freedoms and once-reliable institutions, we are all in some way either part of the problem, or part of the solution to these evils and ills. I use the term evil to define problems that have, or seem to be, beyond addressing or repair. However, I am in no way saying we are powerless or helpless to make a difference. To paraphrase Gandalf from Lord of the Rings when he counselled Frodo, we're here in these times to do what we can with the time we have been given. ![]() We are immensely complex, sensitive and powerful creations of Divine Love. We are capable of so much more than what the world and our past has defined us to be. We possess the imagination of the gods and goddesses, and are capable of creating our own versions of hell or heaven. It's always our choice... and we own nothing more valuable than our power to choose, and change. Beginning today I am making a re-commitment to my spiritual path as an emissary of Love, a speaker of truth to power, and desire to help others realize Who They Are beyond their past stories, or future fears. To make a difference in the lives of others requires that we first see ourselves with the eyes of Spirit, not the ego. If you'd like to move forward in 2018 towards more freedom within and without, an empowered sense of purposeful living through right livelihood, more nurturing and fulfilling relationships, an understanding of how the world really works, and why it's no longer healthy to just try and "fit in" to simply survive, then I'd like to invite you on to a free exploratory call with me. I will listen to your deepest desires, and your most prevalent fears. I will then suggest some things that you can take action on right now to bring you more into the Present moment and start getting clearer within about the next steps to take. I can then explain to you how my Spiritual Mentoring program and tools can further your growth and self- realization, and how to live a more peaceful and grounded life in a world that is going to change even more dramatically in the times to come. For me, a successful life has little to do with the size of your bank balance or stock portfolio, or accomplishments. It has everything to do with how peaceful, joyful and loving you are towards yourselves and others. Have you loved well, and have you made someone's life better by your being here? That's a success that you can take with you at the end of your life here. The invitation is below. Remember that you have the power to choose between the past, or an uncertain future, or a future that you want to face. A future that you can live fully in the Presence of right now, right here. There's absolutely no obligation or selling involved. To find out more, join me for a little chat together. I look forward to hearing from you. Isaac George: Voiceover Artist, Composer, and Audio Engineer ![]() by Isaac George November 7th, 2016 “The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved, just to love and be loved.” - Eden Ahbez We all have a desire and need to feel love for ourselves, for a significant other, and to be loved in return. This inherent need is part of just being human, and the need for acceptance, touch and empathy is a basic right of just being alive. From a spiritual or metaphysical persperctive, we’re always in relationship with something – ourselves with our feelings and thoughts, our environment, Nature, and other people. There can be growth when spending time in solitude, following a spiritual practice or using the tools of self-inquiry or meditation to look deeper within. This often is cyclical, and we eventually our curiosity and desire for connection drives us to seek the companionship. Recently I invited people on my mailing list and on social media to participate in a two-fold survey. There were two areas I wanted feedback on: spirituality, spiritual practices and spiritual or shamanic “emergence.”, and intimate relationships and partnering, and the responses to this category were very revealing for me. The number one challenge-issue-fear was around trust. Over 90% of the respondents cited this factor above all else, including communication, cooperation, or sexual intimacy issues. Trusting the other or one’s own motivations, even surrendering to love itself and all the vulnerability it demands is demands that we deal with our own anxieties, insecurities and woundings from past dissapointments, betrayals or abuse. Some of the respondents also cited difficulties with communication, fears of losing oneself in the other, or experiencing the polarity of abandonment or suffocation. Our way of relating and being in relationship is predicated on the models we learned through our upbringing and the messages from our cultures. These have conditioned our behaviours in how we connect and relate at any age. Sometimes the memories in our soul, or in our parent’s unhealed events with their upbringing, brings us into contact with unhealthy patterns. Co-dependency, broken attachments with one parent or another can cause to unconsciously attract the exact opposite situations that we’re really desiring. My direct experiences and observations during the last 10 years or so tells me that many of these patterns and beliefs, as well as our relationships themselves, are under pressure to change. There are many more people who are becoming weary with any superficiality in their relationships and love connections, and I’ve seen a profound increase in the interest in soulmate, soul-based partnerships. There’s also a growing awareness of the phenomenon of twin flames and twin souls. This is becoming an area of interest that isn’t just about finding the perfect partner – it has broader spiritual implications and potentials. Just Google these terms and conduct your own research if you’re curious. I would also add to this discourse the language and science of astrology which I see as a big part of the changes in relationship these days. The end of the Mayan Calendar in 2012 ushered in the first of the Uranus-Pluto Squares. Uranus entered the sign of Aries in March, 2011, the sign of the warrior and being more individualized and independent. Between June 2012 and March of 2015 there were 7]seven exact contacts through Pluto and Uranus being in a square aspect, which is Mastery through Challenge. I personally went through a deep spiritual transformation via the disintegration of a long-term partnership and a rebirth into envisioning a newer and more egalitarian partnership model and opportunity. The bottom line here is that so many of the issues coming up within relationships now are asking us to grow and let go of many of our dysfunctional ways of being so that we can actually come in to a real and experiential equality with those we are in closest resonance with, and really explore conscious relating and mutually supportive and creative ways for helping each other to express our deepest gifts for the benefits of others, and manifest our desires and Soul Mission. My orientation is that our spirituality, creativity, sensitivity and sexuality are all intertwined in this transformative process. Once we have grounded fully within ourselves without shame or guilt, then our vibration changes and we begin to attract those who will mirror with us in love, harmony, abundance, and yes, in complete trust. It is also the foundation for building a fair and equitable economic system, sustainable communities, and a healthy relationship with our home planet. If you would like to explore more about my approach to attracting and cocreating conscious relationships full of trust and deeper potential for intimacy, then I would like invite you to schedule a Discovery Call with me. I’d love to assist you in letting go of past limitations and embrace a path of happiness and fulillment. Watch for next week’s installment where I’ll share with you some approaches and techniques for addressing the issues and challenges you may have been going through, and some ideas on how to create more “Heart and Soul” in your relationship life.
