“Nature Bats Last?”

Greetings friends,

Spring is in the air, and all around. Buds are budding, birds are tweeting (the real deal), and although not all is at peace in this world, the unmistakable lift of sunshine and greenery is beginning to make its resurgence in the Northern Hemisphere.

Yes, there are some nasty floods occurring in Oz, and Japan was rocked with an earthquake the other day. The ongoing Ukrainian crisis is a real deep source of anxiety for many the world over, but I am wondering how we suddenly moved on from Covid-19 to be on the brink of WWIII (the Ukrainian President's words, not Pootin's or anyone else for that matter). I don't need to tell you how bad things are, but what could I possibly tell you to do about it all? Inflation, the Russians, the lawlessness at the gas pumps? Where does it all end?

If you are feeling that some of what I am saying sounds familiar, then it should be. Watch a clip from the original film from 1976 below this paragraph. Was this prophesy, or coincidence? Perhaps we all might feel a bit lighter if we allowed ourselves the freedom to express our innermost feelings openly and honestly, instead of carrying on in silence. 

Though the once reliable structures and institutions seem to be failing or resorting to trying to reassert their dominion over most of humanity, we must look inwardly for the solutions now. Our Sun and our planet are upping the ante to precipitate change on a massive scale. Unless we as a species heed the not-so-subtle signs that if we don't change our priorities and direction, then it will no longer be our choice...it will be imposed by forces beyond comprehension or control. 

Back when I was living in Eugene, Oregon in the mid-1980's, I'd occasionally spot this bumper sticker on the back of a vehicle parked near the local health food store. "Nature Bats Last" was the stark message. At that time there was a very persistent movement by hippies and "tree huggers" to stop the cutting of old growth forests on Bureau of Land Management lands in Oregon and Washington states. Sometimes the protests would involve "tree-sitting", where someone would climb into the upper branches of an ancient Douglas fir and make camp there, daring the logging crews to cut it down. 

Standoffs like this would wear on for weeks on end, until some authority or another climbed up after them and forcibly took them into custody. Then the chainsaws would rumble into life once again, and soon the tree was down. Was that bumper sticker a piece of wishful thinking, asking the Planet to come to the rescue of itself? Or was it perhaps a desire for Nature to punish the chainsaw swordsmen? Or does it have more weight than that? Will Nature eventually wake up and extract justice to rebalance itself? One can usually say, "only time will tell", but I feel that time may well be upon us.

From my perspective all the powers at the disposal of the so-called "elite" or the planetary controllers is entirely false and temporal. They cannot circumvent or overthrow Nature, that is a fantasy. They can and do attempt to do that to the biosphere and for most of humanity, but it is a project doomed to failure, unless we continue to acquiesce and do nothing to hinder or change it.

Our Mother is wise, but sometimes capricious. She is very capable of defending Her own welfare, and the welfare of all Life She birthed here eons ago. Her dream of us becoming divinely human and living in resonance with Her and all the Cosmos becomes more prevalent, we are all invited at this Spring Equinox to consciously choose to remember who we really are, where we really came from, and who and what our divine planetary Mother truly is all about. She asks us to cooperate, to repatriate ourselves to Her wisdom, to Her ways. In that intention is the potential of reawakening our original source codes at a cellular level. Our Solar selves are also receiving meta downloads of divine intelligence to guide our bodies and souls into greater appreciation of our home world, and our Home within. If we can find out what our true origins and Story is, the rest will be much easier.

Nature doesn't have to bat last and end the experiment before more damage is inflicted. We do have the free will to eliminate ourselves, but that accomplishes nothing. Earth will continue with or without us. It is a much juicier and happier Story if we continue with Her. At least that is what I feel. 

May your acknowledgement, ceremonies, and rituals this Sunday express your fondest desire for your dreams to come true, but also for all beings of whatever type to receive the blessings of a new beginnings and new opportunities here at the start of a new astrological year.

STATE OF THE PLANET UPDATE: “Return to Sender”

Greetings friends,

Another year, another momentous month, and many different energies pushing and pulling in many different directions. If there is one recommendation for the now, is trying to maintain some equilibrium and keep your cool.  Things could fray at any moment, so it’s beneficial to take three deep breaths whenever you feel on the verge of overwhelm or your fuse is lit by your own sense of frustration, or other’s demands, or information and energy overloads.  Reminds me of an old Broadway musical called “Stop the World, I Want to Get Off!”

The multidimensionality of events and stimuli is quite evident in the outer material reality, but it is mostly happening in the mind/astral realm.  Our emotional bodies are jostled, and our physical bodies are telegraphing frantic messages like “danger ahead”, or “Hey, pay attention! We’re in pain, discomfort and insecurity!”  This is unsurprising when the entire planet is immersed in a chaotic fishbowl of artificial digital atmospheres, media-fostered fear headlines, and one crisis after another all clamouring for attention and action.

Take a BIG step back from it all! All this is not who you are, nor is it indicative of the true nature of Nature and every other soul in this world.  Meditation is important for calming the mind stuff and connecting and caring for our physicality even more so.  When I get rattled, I listen to music…calming, meditative and ethereal music.  Do whatever you works for you, not as a mindless form of escapism, but as a conscious form of self-care and rebalancing.

The astrological/energetic markers for the weeks ahead are also multidimensional and multipurpose.  Remember, what we call astrology is nothing more than a symbolic language for understanding life on Earth, nothing more and nothing less. It won’t make you more spiritual, but it can point you towards things in your psyche that may get in the way (karmic habits) of your full self-realization.  When applied to national or world events, astrology has an uncanny ability to predict potential manifestations of our collective consciousness or help us understand in hindsight what the hell just did happen, and why.

We are embodied forms of Consciousness, and that is why everything ‘feels’ so freaking real.  At the level of the Absolute, it is all just a form of play manifesting in a dualistic way. So, what is the Absolute wanting us to pay attention to, right now?  Remember that the transiting Nodal Axis is astrology’s way of highlighting the most important thing, right now.  (For those of you who are students of astrology or grizzled veterans, please reference the charts I’ve provided below.)

​If you have your own chart, check for any aspects to the degrees mentioned in the next paragraph, and remember that there can be five major aspects: Conjunctions (within 6 degrees of one another), Squares (at a 90-degree angle between points), Sextiles (60 degree angles), Oppositions (180 degrees opposite one another), and Trines (90 degrees in relationship to each other).

First up the Full Moon on the 16th arrives at 4:55pm GMT (London) at the 27th degree and 59th minute of Leo.  Mars and Venus are conjunct at 16 degrees of Capricorn, and Pluto is now at the 27th degree of Capricorn and quincunx to the Full Moon.  Quincunxes are awkward and irritating energies.  Like being stuck on a plane with someone next to you snoring and you must put up with it.  A Quincunx is a 150-degree angle between two points.

This Full Moon is being squared (challenged) by the Nodal Axis at 27 degrees of Scorpio and Taurus.  Recall what I said above, about the transiting Nodes saying, “pay attention to this!”?  Here it is. Taurus is our values versus the culture or society’s value system. Scorpio is about secrets and security, and depth…lots of deep dark stuff.  Leo is about the heart chakra, yes, but also loves being the king or queen and feeling superior.  The Sun at almost the last degree of Aquarius signals a call to look beyond the obvious and discover the higher ground perspective about what’s happening – and no, you cannot ignore or avoid what is unfolding.

The Native Americans feel that whatever is happening in the moment is exactly what needs to be happening, and to push it away or rationalize about it is never going to work. Better to open one’s eyes to the opportunity for remembering and growth instead of resisting.  This will be a really great time for seeing things with new eyes, and then planting new thoughts and ideas around what sort of actions would you like to create that will build a new and better tomorrow for you and everyone else.  Think “both/and” and take it beyond the personal.  It is also a call to participate, even if you have strong feelings that are the opposite.  For example, I have been wrestling with yearnings to simply chuck it all, head off into the woods, ditch my tech and live like a hermit. That may have a romantic spin to it, but it is a sure-fire way to fall off the edge of the world. Instead, this New Moon carries with it an energy to double one’s efforts to find and connect with your tribe and start building something in the way of a cooperative or community that looks and feels better than what the old world is offering. That world is dying, though it is putting up one hell of a fight along the way.

The next huge event is the USA Pluto Return on February 20th, 2022.  To be frank we’ve been in the energy of this already for months, and this is the first exact contact of Transiting Pluto to the USA Natal Pluto since July 4th, 1776.  That’s never happened before, and it is truly a once-in-a-lifetime event.  How many times have you heard that in the past two years?  Plenty I suspect.  Make no mistake, this one is bigger than the Saturn- Pluto conjunction on January 12th, 2020, that heralded in (or helped trigger) the Covid era.  Check out this chart for all the alignments and amazing aspects that this event demonstrates.  It would take far too long to dissect every single aspect and meaning here, which is why I am devoting my next two radio shows to the topic (see details after the end of this article).

The main event is Pluto conjunct Pluto, in Capricorn.  It is the end of America as we have known it, and we will have to see how and what the people of the USA choose to do with that.  All the fruits of the seeds sown for 248 years are going to fall out of the sky all at once for good or bad.  In America they refer to this as “chickens coming home to roost.” Hence the title for this article as it refers to how karma always returns to its sender.

Remember that there is only “good-bad” in duality.  It may be more useful to phrase this as “helpful, or not helpful.”  Since Capricorn governs governments, all manner of institutions (political, military, financial, medical, and social), a further dis-integration of the same may accelerate under Pluto’s tutelage.

Simultaneously, the regular folk may also realize that their leadership has been leading them down the garden path for a very long time. It will be time for everyone, not just Americans, to realize that the only power that these institutions and leaders have is the power we have ceded to them. It will be time to emancipate and wean ourselves out of the outworn habit of placing our trust and power into the hands of others, and start growing into mature, adult souls capable of looking after ourselves and each other in an egalitarian sort of way.  Pluto is the Lord of Death, the Lord who Taketh Away, and anything that no longer is serving the collective soul of humanity is going to be removed...one way or another.  Best not to resist it on any level as that is what causes suffering.

Once again, with the transiting Nodes involved the message is that THIS is the most important thing to focus on. Mars and Venus conjoined in Capricorn will stimulate loving ourselves no matter what happens and will stimulate our instincts to create structures and modalities designed to foster mutual survival and compassion…no matter what. Mercury conjunct the USA Nodal Axis in Aquarius-Leo will ask us, can you “think” in a new way about how to go about solving problems? In a nutshell, innovate from intuition, and provide leadership with heart.  The transiting Moon in Libra conjunct the USA Natal Juno might be saying “all are welcome to the new Dispensation”, or something like that.

There will be two further conjunctions of Pluto to the USA Pluto this year, on July 12th when retrograde Pluto touches the natal Pluto, and the last pass, the “Resolution” will occur on December 28th, 2022.

So, what might happen at the initiation phase of this major archetypal event?  Before I hazard a guess, I need to make the following statement:

One of the reasons that the world is the way it is and has been for thousands of years is because those entities and people whose orientation is rooted in domination of others in order to ensure the survival of the fittest, or hold the belief that the strong deserve to survive and the weak don’t matter, or they that were born to rule and see themselves as superior to us Muggles, is about to be heavily challenged.  The globalists have woven the world together into a tight, authoritarian digital construct that they imagine they rule, and don’t kid yourselves, they know about astrology, and the hidden metaphysical arts and methods, and have employed their knowledge of these things to mold the world and human beings as they see fit. Talk about lack of consent on our part! They have been well-organized, insanely well-funded, and working towards total hegemonic control of this planet and all it’s people and resources for a very long time. They won’t go away quietly either.

This year is pivotal in challenging that mindset and agenda, and replace it with a spiritually based, human-oriented philosophy and culture that works for everyone. Otherwise, once Pluto moves into Aquarius in the early part of 2023, the psychotic push towards an all too real one world digital tyranny may well culminate between 2023 and 2025 and be in place until well after Pluto leaves Aquarius in 2043.

The rabbit hole goes ever so deep, and into some real sci-fi places that many would prefer not to venture.  There are malevolent forces that have never held anything but envy for this planet, and animosity towards the humans and the divine experiment we are in and co-creating. Some call them the Archons, or the Jinn, or the Watchers.  In the Americas they are referred to as “Wetiko”.   Modern mystics and psychologists alike tend to think that this is an innate part of our original human design.  I seriously contest that notion, as I feel that our original design never was intended to be predatory and deliberately cruel.  These beings can infiltrate our minds, and we may unknowingly and ignorantly attribute some of our less desirable behaviours or propensities to our minds and personalities to our parents, our upbringing or some other purely psychological reason.  If we remain unaware of what can influence and does influence us, then we cannot take responsible action to correct ourselves and trust solely in our own internal guidance system.  A good technology example is television...or the Internet, and especially,  smartphones.

I strongly feel that there are other lifeforms in the multiverse, many who benign and benevolent, and some that are hostile.  These hostile ones are given the some of the same abilities and some form of intelligence and volition from the Creator of All That Is. They are allowed to follow their predatory instincts, because the true nature of Love is always non-judgmental of Itself and is always allowing.  It will be up to us to grow in wisdom and reactivate the perceptual and practical skills needed to neutralize all such negative influences and do so without condemnation or judgement.

I remember listening to a very wise being from Arcturus who was speaking though a human channel in 1994 who addressed the thorny issues of entity possession, dark forces, and all that sort of stuff.  With an abundant sense of humor and laser-like perception, he dropped the ultimate non-dualism statement: “After this world has ascended,  that “darkness” will be revealed to be of the Light.”  They are a type of lifeform but their nature is synthetic, i.e., artificial sentient intelligence.  If that’s a tough one to imagine, then read the link and/or listen to the interview I've shared below.  One serious little caveat - this same Arcturian being also said that he and his colleagues were told before they came to Earth that they should not participate with evil in any form.  Doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room these days.

Okay, one of my guesses about the upcoming exact meeting of Pluto to the USA Pluto is a big disruption in the world financial markets, starting on Wall Street or perhaps something in the currency trading markets. This could be precipitated by any number of factors, so I can’t reliably name a catalyst. Personally, any number of current events could be the trigger. Russia invading the Ukraine is one I can name.  Another is the Canadian PM Trudeau deciding to break up the Freedom Convoy, while still another could be the removal of Britain's scandal-ridden Prime Minister from power. This might precipitate a crisis of confidence in the UK currency - the Pound Sterling, and trigger panic in the markets and causing a devaluation. 

​Well, the bubbles have been building for some time in the real estate, speculative stock trading, and currency trading markets (cryptocurrencies as well). The growing gap between the very rich and the rest of us has only gotten worse the last two years, when another huge and secret transfer of wealth upwards to the 1% of the 1% was enacted. Pluto presided over the crash of the cheap credit and real estate markets in 2007-2008, and he may just end his tenure in Capricorn the same way he entered it – in a dramatic fashion. This is just one guess. What you do feel, what do think?

One thing is for sure…the only constant is change, so be prepared for anything.  A full-on collapse may be just the galvanizing event to bring us together at a whole new level and build a new tomorrow.  After all, isn't all we have ever wanted is to be free? Isn't that the rallying cry in many parts of the planet right now? Here's our opportunity, our gift.  Let's make it real, for all.

The conventional wisdom is that so goes America, so goes the world. In this show I will share what this fateful line-up of planetary energies might bring forth in our collective and individual experiences. We have all seen how the dynamic power of Pluto (collective or World Soul)in action since it entered Capricorn in 2008 (credit-housing bubble), and the events of the past two years when it conjoined with Saturn in January 2020. We're not out of the woods yet. Pluto moving through the last two degrees of Capricorn will be offering a clear choice this year. Will we choose wisely? Let's hope so. 

STATE OF THE PLANET UPDATE
for November 12th, 2021

There is so much angst in the air these days that we may all be feeling more sensitive, exhausted or even more despondent than usual.  So much so, that I feel a lot of folks are at the end of their tether, overwhelmed by the vast onslaught of confusing emotions and free-floating anxiety in the telluric atmosphere.  Steady folks!  Simply ignoring what is unfolding isn’t optional. However, grounding and staying centred in our core Being is a choice we do have, hour by hour, and day by day.

This past Wednesday there was an unusual astrological alignment.  During the same time our planet has been undergoing a mid-level geomagnetic storm from more solar flares erupted last weekend.  On Wednesday Saturn and the Moon met up at 7 degrees of Aquarius, and Mars and Mercury joined up at 7 degrees of Scorpio.  The Mars-Mercury gang were also opposed by Uranus retrograde at 12 Taurus.  This configuration is as rare astronomically as it is astrologically. The message in it is this: “...when push comes to shove”, or “enough is enough”, or “I am tired of this s**t”, or even “I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore.”

The manifestations of this seemed to erupt in synchronous fashion globally, but was more focused in the USA, UK and Europe. In the days leading up to this strange square in the sky between Mars in Scorpio (“I’m going to get to the bottom of things, and you can’t make me do what I don’t want to do!”) and Saturn in Aquarius ("You must submit to the mandates or lose your job.”) various unions representing the police, firemen, teachers and health care professionals in the United States started court actions against forced inoculations.  Of course, to suddenly try to force anything on these folks, after they’ve been on the front lines for 16 months without the need for such an experimental medical intervention does not make much sense.  Nor does it make any sense to risk losing these dedicated people by coercing them into having to choose between their ethics (and perhaps medical or scientific knowledge) and their livelihoods. The video below is about an RN in British Columbia, Canada who is going through this exact scenario.

​Here in the U.K., on the very morning of said weird astrological event, the government announced that all NHS and care home employees would have to be vaccinated or be let go.  By yesterday morning 60,000 care home staff had been let go, and the care homes informed the National Health Service that they would be unable to accept any patient transfers from NHS facilities.  That was standard practice during the early months of lockdown in 2020.  Now it is the turn of the NHS frontline staff to choose where they stand. I have spoken privately with some nurses from our local NHS Trust hospital, and they feel it is simply wrong-footed to make the jabs mandatory.

Of course, there are other aspects to these developments, and I although I would like to address them here like bullet points in a lecture, I won’t do that.  I’m not here to lecture anyone or tell them what I think they should do, or not do.  I have popped a few links to some videos and articles for your consideration at the end of this article, and you can view them or not. Up to you.

After a relatively quiet weekend and beginning to next week, we have a few more rings of fire to leap through.  Next Wednesday Mars in Scorpio comes into an exact opposition with Uranus in Taurus retrograde. This occurs at 12 degrees of each sign. The energy of any Mars-Uranus aspect is volatile, unpredictable and intense.  I know because I live every day with Uranus square Mars in my natal blueprint. Saturn is also in an applying square to Uranus, which will be exact on December 24th, 2021, the last square between these behemoths in those signs for quite some time to come.

On Friday, November 19th, there will be a partial Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio-Taurus. I’ve supplied a copy of the chart below.

This lunar eclipse event may further galvanize and embolden those questioning the official narratives and mandates.  The confrontation between Mars and Uranus squaring Saturn will alert those in charge that their tactics are having less of an effect than desired.  This may result in further and perhaps more draconian restrictions in December, especially after the Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius (self-righteousness).  I am still taking the long view and holding zero expectations as we move from now to the first exact Pluto Return station to the USA Natal Chart Pluto in February 2022.  Now that will be a subject of deeper delving in January 2022!

The upshot of all of this from my perspective is that this is a time for steadfast resoluteness and preparedness.  Lots of folks I know are “prepping”, something I’ve been meaning to do for a few months now since supply chains have been disrupted and fuel has gotten scarcer. However, the spiritual and soul-base perspectives are of primary importance in these challenging and confusing times.

Ever since Halloween and the November 4th New Moon I’ve detected an uptick in psychic interference and fatigue.  Some of that is due to the fluctuations in the planet’s magnetic fields, but hey, the veils are still very thin now.  People energy, including thoughts and emotions, seem to be bleeding through boundaries much easier than before.  This is creating some personal friction that is straining working or friend relationships. Very touchy when it is someone close to you that you feel you need some space from.  By extension I am also picking up on a lot of astral interference and other static.  Clearing oneself daily is a useful activity, and only takes a few ticks to accomplish (see link below).  Some symptoms to be alert for are undefined irritability, low grade depression, self-talk, blaming, complaining, dissociative or addictive behaviours, a longing to be somewhere else, and general doubt or fear. 

Although lower emotions like fear, guilt, shame and anger are generally to be eschewed, anger can be a creative energy when approached in the correct attitude. Anger is one of the most misunderstood and avoided emotions on the planet, or conversely, one that is over-indulged in far too often.

​The one message anger can have for us is that our Soul Core is alerting us to some person, situation or thing that violates our sense of Self, or our core values.  As such, anger is then your friend, and an ally in helping you in choosing and activating healthy boundaries.  In a climate such as we have now, people’s right to say “NO!” is even being taken away.  To someone experiencing physical, mental or sexual abuse, we would be appalled if someone were denied the inherent right to say “NO!, that is does not feel good and I will resist!”  This is when anger can give us the courage to stand up for ourselves and by saying “no” we are saying “yes” to what feels right and good for us.

It will be increasingly essential to observe what is going down without it dragging you down with it.  It is also becoming apparent that we may have to act in a firm and steadfast way to preserve the life we have chosen to live, and not acquiesce quite so easily to what others tell us to do. This Saturn in Aquarius cycle will be with us until March 2023, so we’ve still going to see this type of attrition carrying on for a while yet.  By that time Pluto will be done with the transit to the USA chart and will be about ready to head into Aquarius itself.  That should be of larger concern than what we currently are experiencing. Even so, it is vital that we look to staying as much in the now as possible.

There are many things to be currently thankful for, and to celebrate. If you have your health, good food, shelter and loving family and friends, then appreciate that…deeply.  Hold fast to the vision you have for your life and choose the path that brings the most peace to you, not the most material gain or comforts.  The pressures we are seeing have been designed by us, and for us, to awaken and galvanize us to take full responsibility for our happiness right now, and for the future.

This is also the Planet’s shaking and waking us out of the nightmare that is capitalism and consumerism.  I recall when I was channelling Archangel Ariel that she’d remind folks that moving into 5D would mean no more Walmarts or McDonalds.  We cannot blend our current culture or beliefs with a higher order society.  Our technology is owning us, and we are slowing realizing that that is now so.  We also can feel how dehumanizing our institutions have become (humans are NOT a resource).  The good news is that we are at choice, and in fact that is where our true power resides.

Choice.

Don’t leave home without it, and refuse to submit your power of choice to another.

Presence, Bliss, Tranquillity.  They are qualities of experience and states of being to be sure, but they do not arise only in the ethereal planes of awareness.  They can exist while we are in embodiment as well. Carrying on from last week’s theme about our letting go, this coming weekend, and the early part of next week will afford us ample opportunities for accessing more of our divinity, while in our embodiment.  This Monday-Tuesday, we get a breather, a blessing…a Full Moon in the expansion and dreamy sign of Pisces. Already we’re experiencing the forerunners.  Strange or magical dreams and night-time dramas, restless sleep and bouts of feeling lethargic and tired, and a sense that one is walking in a fog bank. It will be helpful to reflect on these myriad states we’re entering before the exact moment of the Full Moon.  That occurs at 00:54am British Summer Time. Subtract 5 hours for America’s East Coast, and 8 hours for the West. Hence why this lunation crosses over a day/night boundary.

This space will be super important to take advantage of, as the planetary and energetic aspects that unfold shortly.  Next week there are some more intense energies afoot…mostly from Thursday onwards.  We get a few little breaks in the action, until Mercury turns retrograde in Libra on September 27th.  The real action will begin on October 1st, and reign through the whole month. But I get ahead of myself.

I inserted the quote from Marshall McLuhan’s son Eric as a reminder of why this Full Moon is so different than our abnormal digitized state of perception on the planet.  This is an opportunity to connect or reconnect more deeply with our divine spark within. Whether you refer to it as your Higher Self or something else does not matter so much. You and that which is eternal are always together, always equals, and share a common awareness.  No separation whatsoever!  But in today’s world we may feel very hard-pressed to feel and know that Presence on a moment-to-moment basis.  Now is a good time to re-establish the Foundation of your Being in the ways you feel drawn to do so.

The Eric Clapton quote is from the interview he did about his adverse injuries after having had the AZ jabs and having Covid anxiety prior to his accepting the jabs and after. Very honest and courageous man, and an amazing musician whom I’ve followed since 1966.  I include it here to illustrate the (scientifically verified) fact of how we can be made to feel ill from just our thoughts and/or emotions, or from taking in toxic ideas from outside ourselves. This is about more than being a hypochondriac. One type of this condition is called psychogenic illness, and it can spread to millions of people in a matter of days or weeks...as we have seen.

With Sun in Virgo and Moon in Pisces, the themes of healing arise, especially emotional and psychic pains or wounds.  Allow your feelings to flow and don’t hold anything back or judge them, no matter how messy or chaotic they might be. It’s part of the healing from releasing we all need…a cleansing.  Virgo is all about the body, and about the sacredness and beauty of the divine in human form.  Revere your body as such, and it will respond to your healing thoughts.  Too much of humanity has forgotten what their bodies are for. Lastly, I suggest using this time for artistic pursuits, resting, walking in Nature, Qigong, Tai Chi or yoga, meditating, chanting, listening to music (or playing it yourself!).  Tuning in to the deeper knowing that is you is the key.  If you are looking for information or answers outside of yourself (Sun-Virgo), okay. But come back into yourself and let your heart and spirit discover what is right for you.

Show Synopsis: When the going gets tough, when the pressure is on, and there’s no relief in sight, what do you do? We are living in the End Times as it were and confronted daily with many real or imagined existential threats. Never in my life did I ever expect to live through a period like this, and I’ve seen quite a few epic things in my journey. Nonetheless, we don’t have to shoulder everything alone or in the isolation between our ears. It is essential to take a step back in inwards to check ourselves when we have a questions and doubts, like “what is this all for, and why?” I hear you, and so does the infinite heart of divine within us all.

This episode will key on the Full Moon in Pisces that takes place next Monday, September 20th, 2021 as a fulcrum for renewing our divine connection within, and without. Hope you can tune and spend an hour of comfort, reassurance and peace with me.

Completion and a New Beginning – Full Moon in Aquarius, Sunday, August 22nd 2021

Well, I’m back…sort of. Technically still on sabbatical until Monday, August 23rd, but there are too many things popping that need some attention. The main one is the upcoming second Full Moon in Aquarius in less than a month. It bookends with the one that occurred on July 23rd at the 1st degree of Aquarius. This Sunday, the 22nd of August, the second one will be at the 29th degrees of Leo and Aquarius. The famous (or infamous) Anaretic degrees are compelling moments in any astrology timeline.Here’s an excerpt from The Dilemma of the 29th DEGREE: Thor’s Hammer or a Cornucopia? by Eileen Nauman, DH(UK):
 
“Astrologers know that from 0 through 28 degrees, we, as individuals, have ample opportunity to work on our stuff, work through it and change it.  “Work” is defined here as our emotional and toxic wounds that we’ve accrued usually through childhood or in our twenties.  And they have to be healed.  In other words, we have choice.  And since we are down here to grow, the 29th degree is around to ensure that we do what is needed for ourselves–even if we don’t want to do it for a host of reasons (fear, lack of confidence, lack of faith in ourselves, etc.).  The 29th degree is there to ensure we WILL do it.  Or, if we’ve been running away from a lot of emotional garbage that we’ve refused to own–well guess what?  It’s all going to come back to haunt you in that 29th degree.
 
The 29th degree from a medical astrology standpoint is a loaded keg of emotional toxic ‘dynamite’ that has been ignored for some time, even decades, and it’s sitting there ready to explode.  When we have suppressed or repressed emotions, this will translate over time into actual physical, mental or emotional dis-ease.”
 
That’s Eileen just getting warmed upon the subject of the Anaretic degrees…

“Of course, people have free will choice and if they elect not to try and heal their own wound, they ignore it.  [For example] they can ignore Saturn transits from 0 to 28 degrees of that sign.  However, when it hits the 29th degree, that person is going to have the Cosmic Hammer come down on him or her.  The 29th degree is a last-ditch attempt to draw the person or experience to this individual so they can get to work on discharging the toxicity they’re carrying inside themselves.  And so, calamity hits this person with a sledgehammer.  It can be a loss of a job, the spouse wanting a divorce, having to move to another state or country, the death of a spouse or child or parent.  And the list goes on…but the list of things that can happen are life changing for that individual. And that’s the power of the 29th degree coming in and confronting the individual who doesn’t want to do the work for whatever the reason.  No reason, frankly, is worth avoiding our own wounding.  If we drew that wound in this incarnation, it’s up to us to work through it.  In working through it, we learn, grow and mature and yes, perhaps even evolve, because of our efforts.”
 
Now I know that you who are reading this may not have any particularly sensitive points in your own soul blueprint (birth chart) for this incarnation, but that doesn’t mean one is totally out of the woods. You and I share in the collective awareness of the soul of humanity and of the planet, so we are not immune to the knock-on effects that that can have in our personal spheres. That said, this Full Moon is akin to an initiation…for the whole human race.
 
The little-known dwarf planet Sedna is currently also at the 29th Degree of Taurus and is being squared by the Sun and Moon at 29 Leo and Aquarius this Saturday. Some say that Sedna represents the soul’s destiny and has a hand in illumination and new consciousness. Sedna’s orbital path takes over 11,000 years to complete one revolution around our Sun, and she is way out there beyond the orbit of Pluto, so that last time Sedna was parked at the last degree of Taurus was at the end of the last Ice Age. Sedna was a goddess of the sea and intuitive feelings that belongs to the Inuit Indians of the Arctic regions.
 
She entered Taurus in 1965, just as the USA civil rights movement, the Vietnam War, and the rise of the hippie era all commenced. A big shifting in human consciousness to be sure! It’s also worth mentioning that Uranus and Pluto had just entered the element of Earth just about the same time when they both conjoined in Virgo. Sedna enters Gemini in 2024, around the same time that Pluto enters Aquarius. Sedna in Taurus could be one of the factors in the rise of the digital age since 2003, but when she gets into Gemini, it might signal a new rising of human consciousness, but one not tied to artificial intelligence or binary sciences.
 
At the unconscious level Sedna can represent victimization, illness, alienation, trauma, and suffering. At the conscious level she can foster profound acceptance, including of how bad things currently are, transcendence, keeping one’s heart open no matter what, and having a sense of humour.
 
With the Sun and Moon underpinning the archetypes of Leo and Aquarius, and squaring Sedna, I feel that we are being offered an initiation. One that can work best if we consciously choose to fully individuate into our sovereign truthful selves, while realizing and cultivating our innate spiritual connection to the elements, especially water (feelings) and earth (the body). This will be the choice point offered: evolved humanity not dependent or enslaved to digital technology, and a groundswell of consciousness opening not only to the higher cosmic influences, but also the divine influence right under our feet…and our noses!
 
Finally, in summary, allow me to offer the last part of Eileen Nauman’s brilliant essay on the 29th Degree:
 
THE CORNUCOPIA SIDE TO THE 29TH DEGREE:
 
“There is a positive side to the 29th degree as I wrote earlier. Think of it as a cornucopia of goodies just waiting to be given to you.   If you have done all your homework on yourself and done your best to discharge your toxic dump of emotions, then the 29th degree will leave you alone.  Instead, something “nice” will happen to you instead.  It might be a time of joy spent with your grandchildren, your friends, or relatives.  Or you attend a workshop that inspires you.  Perhaps you sign up for creative schooling, such as painting, learning to write or learn to dance.  It can be a simple as a wonderful lunch with a friend or a warm phone call from someone you love. Or it could be big, like a raise, a new job, a book being sold, being rewarded monetarily or in many other ways.  It will be a ‘lull’ in having to always do your inner work.  It’s Cosmic Gift Time, instead.  A pat on the head by the Cosmos that you’ve done the dirty work and succeeded.  Then, the 29th degree becomes a time of well-earned happiness in your life. And, as always, the choice of how we want to deal with the 29th degree is ours!”

The biggest issue of the day boils down to the fact that what is transpiring on the planet these last 2 years is only made possible by our immersion into the dreamspell of the digital domain. There is a simile to hypnosis and collective groupthink underway, exacerbated by the Saturn in Aquarius transit that promotes the group over individuation. True spirituality is about individuation of divine consciousness in the human experience. The mystic Edgar Cayce was asked during one of his trance sessions to describe Christ Consciousness. His reply was “to know thyself to be thyself, yet one with All That Is.” 

Our task, as I see it defined in reflection of Sunday’s Full Moon in Aquarius, is to define who you are not by what the crowd says you should be, but who you really are and how true to that you will be. We are all being tested and testing ourselves. Let us rise to the occasion and say choose non-compliance with anything that offends our soul and spirit, and say yes to that which is sourced in love, truth, wisdom, empathy, the spirit of cooperation, and harmony with All That Is.

So be it!!
