![]() STATE OF THE PLANET UPDATE “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Isaac November 7th, 2022 I am on sabbatical I know, but after investigating a bit, I am strongly persuaded to provide some of my 2 Cents around tomorrow’s Total Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon in Scorpio. Now say that last bit, real fast! Da Factoids - I’m including a heavily annotated chart so you can follow the bouncing ball. Of course, if you have anything pertinent in Gemini, Sagittarius. Virgo or Scorpio and either by conjunction (within 3 degrees sensitivity), square (90 degrees) or opposition (180 degrees) you will be heavily influenced or affected. This eclipse will have quite an impact on the world consciousness, for good or ill, as it is just one of the precursors to the ingress of Pluto from Capricorn into Aquarius on March 23rd at approximately 1:14pm GMT. Like Pluto’s Capricorn ingress on January 25th, 2008, this starts out as a bit of back-and-forth thing. Pluto may enter Aquarius on March 23rd, 2023, but it goes retrograde on June 11th, 2023, and travels backwards into Capricorn until January 24th, 2024! He then stays in Aquarius until September 1st, 2024, and re-enters Aquarius for good on November 19th, 2024. Funny that November 19th, 2022, is also the day that Mars Retrograde in Gemini squares to Neptune in Pisces retrograde this coming month. Hmm…. All in all, Pluto has been in Capricorn for almost 15-16 years. When he enters Aquarius, it is a hitch that lasts till January 19th, 2044. That’s a long time, and I may not be around then to see it happen. You probably will though. Da Eclipse – This event is loaded. That’s said because the U.S.A. Congressional midterm elections happen at the same time. See the chart details: The presence of Uranus retrograding in Taurus right on this Moon in Taurus is very significant and can foment disorder and misperception in spades. This will also probably ramp up the anxiety around inflation, values in general, and food production and distribution. Try not to get caught up in the hysteria.
Will this also announce the further decline of Pax Americana? Will the U.S. no longer lead the world but follow it (China?). Is there a new Civil War brewing on the American horizon? These points are all valid but doesn’t mean they are set it stone. With Mars Retrograde in Gemini during the whole phase we get to sit with our “got to do something!” energy and think about it. Not as appetizing for a conditioned populace for getting stuff done, but it’s got to be. With Mars retrograde in Gemini, the frustrations brewing in the mass consciousness may get processed through personal communications. It will be essential that we work with the pressure so we can weigh in on every issue of the day. Reflect more than you react. Protect your energy. Your future self will thank you for it. Mars retrograde in Gemini represents a cutting edge, decisive action, severing. When the Warrior is in the sign of the twins, our wit can be our shield or our stumbling block. During this time, pens and keystrokes are our swords, and flexibility is our skill to practice. However. It is a time that is right for miscommunication and downright fake news. Watch how my false or unsubstantiated statements surface during this time. It may be better to not get too caught up in all of it, as it will be a ball of yarn…difficult to untangle. If you would like the Vedic (or Hindu) perspective on this entire transit, you might want to watch this excellent piece by Joni Patry: https://youtu.be/c5o9wRK-BdA. Remember...I offer the Western or Tropical astrological and spiritual view. P.S. There's an eclipse path map at the end of this article. Check it out! Da Other Stuff - So many aspects to talk about! Jupiter sits retrograde at the 29th (Anaretic) degree of Pisces. Talk about fogginess! This aspect can create false hopes, ideals, or expectations. It doesn’t hold there though, and Jupiter is uncomfortable being the instigator. More a giver of boons than bummers, Jupiter is ready to go direct, which he will on December 20th, 2022. Jupiter in the sign of Pisces rules the qualities of spiritual matters, and he has been a balancing influence on all the zaniness. Retrograding in Pisces indicates that you need to take your spiritual thoughts and practices inside, where they can’t be seen. A station at the 29th Degree of Pisces emphasizes this point. You can’t wear your "wokeness" on your sleeve. Saturn in Aquarius squares the whole thing, adding an element of authority and seriousness to the proceedings. We didn’t need this, but we have it. Watch that you don’t take it all on as the bottom line when next Tuesday rolls around. Saturn does enter Pisces as follows in this link: https://cafeastrology.com/events/saturn-enters-pisces/ Lastly Pluto in the late degrees of Capricorn is opposing transiting Black Moon Lilith and Pallas Athene at this moment. Emotions might run amok as Black Moon Lilith soundly rejects any attempts by the patriarchy to continue the growth and progress mantra, and the opposition to Pallas Athene may trumpet that a new approach is entirely necessary now. There is room for compromise, but with Pallas and BML conjunct in Cancer and opposed by Pluto, there is precious little wiggle room. This transit could propel us towards a more egalitarian society and be very positive or plunge us full-time into transhumanism and authoritarianism. The transit of Saturn in Aquarius, especially in 2021, should all give us pause. More on this major event later in the year. Da Main Event...now? - We will have to contend with the 2.5 months that Mars is retrograding in Gemini and the ingresses next spring of Saturn entering Pisces and Pluto entering Aquarius. The Mars thing could trigger a sense that something does need doing now, but with a retrograde in Gemini this energy isn’t just internalized but could be duplicitous as well. What does one do? Sit and wait is my advice. Don’t panic or over-compensate right now and try to remain patient and respond to whatever is happening in the moment (see above). Oh, and I am recovering well and may pop up with a blog or podcast or two between now and May 1st, 2023. That’s kind of my date for re-emergence. Just saying… In the meantime, don’t ever let the planets and stars dictate anything to your mind, but count them as influences we placed there to instruct and remind us of who we are. We’re never helpless, nor hopeless…unless we believe it to be so. Blessings on your journey, Isaac Sessions with Isaac: For guidance or answers in these uncertain times, contact m. ![]() STATE OF THE PLANET UPDATE: “Resilience” by Isaac December 31st, 2021 Whew...what a year this was. I want to launch into "I'm Still Standing" by Elton John. Not everyone made it this far however, many are not here that began 2021. Now everyone is wondering, what about 2022? That is a good question. As an astrologer, and as a researcher and analyst that delves into the arcane, I can certainly say two things about 2022. 1) Don't get your hopes up. 2) Don't give up hope. Hope might be a contentious word with some folks. It can imply a longing for something that will be better, when the future arrives, versus being present with what is so at this moment. However, this is not the hope to which I am alluding. Hope is also akin to faith, the type of strong faith that takes on the character of "knowing" versus believing. Hope can be a knowing, a recognition that whatever is happening in the present, no matter what it is or how unpleasant it might be, the simple fact is that no condition is truly hopeless, nor is it doomed to last indefinitely. So, hope in this context can be an empowerment, a type of positive affirming that even in the direst of circumstances one is not a victim of those circumstances. Adopting the perspective of "the witness" can sometimes help when the world seems darkest, or our stress levels are at maximum, and we think we cannot go on. We can break free of that if we are mindful enough to not be totally absorbed into the experience we are having. The adage of "hope springs eternal" is an appropriate feeling to cultivate in the times we have been traveling through this past year, and the previous one. We are eternal, so our capacity for hopefulness and solutions is always there. So is our capacity for self-deception and Pollyannish perspectives. By being an advocate of hope I am not implying that we ignore the myriad clues to how we have all contributed to our own enslavement to many things in this world. What we allow does tend to continue, and blaming politicians, or anyone else for our current experience is not a creative or constructive response. Adopting a hopeful perspective will help us weather any shock or revelation that may arise in 2022. It can galvanize us to take our power back, and no longer cooperate in our dependency on external authorities. If we are to evolve as souls, we must come to realize that it is not seditious or idiotic to take full responsibility for our own our lives, our health, our creativity, or our freedom to choose. No external authority granted you "rights"...you were born with them. This month and year have ended with some powerful and significant astrology. On December 24th we had the last of the Saturn-Uranus squares. This sets the stage for what is to come in 2022. The Venus Retrograde journey in Capricorn and her three fated meetings in the Underworld with Pluto will also be a player. The most significant transit in the first 90 days of 2022 will be the triple conjunction of Pluto, Venus and Mars all smack-dab on the 27th degree of Capricorn, the same degree as the natal Pluto in the USA’s birth chart. Hang on to your hat’s kids…this will be a total game-changer. Especially if we are willing to set aside our cherished assumptions, beliefs and indoctrinations or what we believe is true, or have been told is true. It is a dying of sorts (Pluto), a death of illusions. We have loads of time to prepare for this, as it does not occur until March 3rd, 2022. The main feature of remaining hopeful and positive going forward is resilience. Resilience is that “don’t give up, never surrender” exhortation that Tim Allen’s character in the movie “Galaxy Quest” said so often. It is a powerful human quality that is deeply connected with the divine will to simply LIVE. Living is a courageous act. We may not see it as such day-to-day, but it really is. Single parents raising children and working full time are courageous. People battling health issues are courageous. Folks starving and fleeing war zones are courageous. Simply being here and having this human journey is an act of tremendous courage. It takes resilience to carry on, to put one foot in front of the other, even when you don’t feel like it. Resilience just might be rooted in that hope I spoke of earlier, that knowing that this or that challenge will pass and that somehow, things will improve. Resilience is also the progeny of sitting still, of waiting for the perfect moment to act, without waiting at all. Sounds pretty Zen, but that kind of patience is something most people lack. Stilling oneself and allowing things to just come to you when the time is right is also a form of resiliency. It is waiting without pushing. Expectation without avarice. Hope without yearning. A rare spiritual quality indeed, and one I will be aspiring to in the coming year. In fact, according to the many things I have investigated about my ideal mode of manifesting, the best and only way for me to operate. Only one way to find out…remain hopeful and be resilient. So here at the end of 2021, I will wish all of you an incredibly positive, hopeful, peaceful and joyful 2022. May all your dreams be true, may you enjoy good times, good health, prosperity and the company of friends. If you are looking for your tribe, just wait and they will find you. One thing is definite. You will not be the same person at the end of 2022 as started the year. That is something you should celebrate! Peace, Isaac NOTE: The reduced fees for all my services expires on January 3rd, 2022.
