The Total/Lunar/Super/Blood Eclipse

​The only constant is change. And the more things change, the more they stay the same. Ahh, the Mystery of the Paradox. Life will continue beyond this Full Moon/ Lunar Eclipse/Blood Moon/Harvest Moon, and there will still be unfinished business to attend to over the next six months…or longer. Depending on your perceptions and situation that may sound like welcome or unwelcome news. However, the bottom line as I feel it is this is just another alarm clock ringing to wake us all up. The ringing of the village church bell did the same for folks long before there were clocks, and in the Far East it might have been the drone of Tibetan trumpets. Nonetheless, the call to awaken is happening.

I liken an eclipse to the ringing of large bell, and the tone and harmonics takes a while to die away. There will be another striking of that large celestial bell next March, which could be considered a future bookmark to the one coming up tomorrow in the U. S., and early Monday morning in Asia and Europe. A bookend holds a book up. A bookmark holds a place for you in the book where you've finished a section or chapter, and you intend to return to it at a later time. A completed cycle is like a pair of bookends holding up the book or books. The real bookend event is the upcoming end of the Nodes of the Moon traveling through Libra and Aries. There's a beginning, in this case March 20th-22nd of 2014, and there's moment of crossing the finish line, which will occur around October 10th, 2015, when they move into Virgo and Pisces. The celestial bookmark moment will be with this Total Lunar Eclipse, and the next one will be the Annular (Partial) Lunar Eclipse on March 23rd, 2016. (See attached charts below)

Much has already been written about this "Blood Moon" so I won't revisit the points already made by many very good fellow astrologers. I certainly have stepped back a bit about this one being the big Ending of everything that has transpired in our relationships over the past 18 to 24 months. I also don't buy into any apocalyptic scenarios.

Some are speculating that it may have something to do with Ascension and Wave X. There is an increase of anomalous events and experiences, of that there is no question. I've had missing time, even a missing day, and my visual and auditory senses are shifting and changing. Perhaps Wave X has come, maybe gone, or is out to lunch. Hard to speculate whether this or that date or event is the Big Deal. Personally, I'm not too keen any longer on there ever being such a thing. It's a process, and even though it feels like acceleration, it is still an evolutionary process. At least that's the way it appears and feels to our filters. 

In 1997 I was an avid listener of the Art Bell syndicated radio show "Dreamland" in the United States. He penned a book with another writer called "The Quickening", and many predictions about ascension and mass awakenings were foretold for the years 2000 and 2001. What we got instead was a fizzle for the supposed Y2K "millennium bug", followed by the 9/11 attacks, and then the War on Terror. Astrologers were watching and reading other signs of the times before this, and the upcoming Saturn - Pluto opposition clearly indicated that the "party like its 1999" (Prince) was not going to continue into the next decade. We are also still currently under the influence of the Uranus-Pluto cycle, and this Eclipse transpires with four planets in retrograde: Neptune, Chiron, Mercury and Uranus. This tends to color the game a bit, especially with Mercury in Libra. That "other" event, the End of the Mayan calendar in December 2012, may actually be evident in the breakdowns (and some breakups) happening. So perhaps that was the real deal...and it'll just take a long time to unravel. I feel that what this Eclipse challenges us about is to foster cooperation and partnering and and to consider it from a whole new level of Consciousness. Saturn and Pluto are direct, and for the time being Saturn is in the "too early" degrees to make much of a dent in the current energies. He'll be more of a factor by early December.

In the meantime, what can we do with this opportunity? The Sun and Moon are at 4 degrees of Libra and Aries, and yes, they are very close to the North and South Nodes of the Moon, which are at the Super Galactic Center Zero Degree, or World Axis degree. But close only counts in horseshoes, and I defer to the new Eclipse season in March 2016 as the possible final reckoning for what we've been experiencing thus far this year and in 2014. My mind wants to parrot what many others have been saying, as in whatever was happening with you and any significant "others" during the transit of the Nodes in Aries -Libra (and the Venus Retrograde this past summer) then that's it, done and dusted, kiss it all bye-bye. Hmmm… not so fast.

We are human beings. We have a need to relate. We are dependent upon each other as we are for sunlight, water, an oxygen rich atmosphere and good topsoil. Yes, we love our independence and freedom, but without anyone to share it with, we would start to feel like the character Tom Hanks played in the movie Cast Away. His only friend was a volleyball he named Wilson. What I feel this Eclipse is about is a call to reassess our relationship to Human Relationships (and lots more!). Too often we reject the unknown for the known, thinking it's the more practical or pragmatic route. Sometimes we go to an extreme in the other direction, and become lost in the "Other", or in the ideal of Love. Somewhere in the middle there may be a sweet spot, a place where magic and romance can meet practicality and sustainability. Goodness knows that we still have a lot of clean-up work to do around the baggage of hurt we share individually and collectively in  affairs of the heart. We are told not to lose our head in love and relationships, but too often that is exactly what needs to happen, because all of our stories and associated emotions are bound up into one big protective ego dance.

A week ago I stumbled across this image on Facebook that I felt initially attracted to, perhaps because of a recent personal experience with someone I feel very close to. Inside my head, I could hear my wounded little not-self egging me on, saying "yeah, so and so has the wrong heart…just blow that off!" When I looked at again I realized what I was engaged in, and immediately saw that the image and its message was like someone else's pain trying to divide my love for this person and turn it into a judgmental hate. I've been seeing a lot of these types of messages lately, and they're dressed up to sound like they are encouraging our sovereignty and designed to get us out of victim consciousness. However I feel that there is  message underneath, trying to drive wedges between people by creating mistrust and fear. It certainly plays well to our old wounds and hurts...creating reactions instead of healing. Perhaps we are just all trying too hard to be strong all the time, and now it's being exploited. By who or what isn't the point here, so I'll leave that for the Reader to ponder for now. When I finally commented on this image in the Facebook post, I wrote: "There are no wrong hearts... only confused ones. And they ache to be loved too." 

As I was writing this blog, I also stumbled on to this article about our personal and interpersonal need to belong, to connect. According to the author, Bethany Webster, our primary need is to feel connected and attached to others. Bonding is the fabric that is so important in many mammalian societies. Dolphins are one example, and Bonobo chimps are another. Our drive to individuate is normal and healthy, but there are caveats. The so-called "war" between the sexes is one of the wedges that preys on our separation anxieties…separation from Source, from our birth mother, from Nature, and from each other. Disconnection, or the strategy of divide and conquer, is at the heart of most religions (us versus "them") and political systems (liberals versus conservatives). Our penchant for labels and naming has landed us in branding hell, and now we sense that all is not as it was intended to be. What all this has to do with the Eclipse tonight/tomorrow, and the road ahead, is that I feel that our need for connection and our need for honoring and cultivating new beliefs and behaviors in our relationships is inexorably bound up with the call to pay attention to the much bigger issues facing us as a species. Is our economic model sustainable, and will we avert ecocide in time? Can we cast aside enough of our isolationist and egocentric tendencies that we come to actually care for the strangers in our midst? This may be what part of the Syrian refugee crisis is about. One thing feels certain…we only are given a certain amount of time to align in collaboration with the Planetary Evolutionary (and Cosmic) impulse before higher laws and powers overtake us and force changes necessary for planetary survival. Note that I don't necessarily include us in that prerogative, but I heartily enjoin us to consider what will happen if we choose to continue as we have been. The Chinese have a saying - "if you don't change your direction, you'll end up where you're headed." Or, something like that.

The microcosm and the Macrocosm are infinitely linked…as within, so without, and as above, so below. How we respond to our current individual challenges and the challenges in our relationships, and our response to the global questions I stated above will determine our individual and collective journey ahead. This Eclipse is one of the bookmarks. Yes, some relationships may have to end in order for a change of belief to occur - or a change of belief must occur in order that the right people can line up to create a new paradigm on many levels.

The change of the Nodal Signs is one of the bookends. The next chapter will be read and hopefully understood by next March. We have the time just now, but do we have the trust, will courage and love to do what is necessary? We don't need to trash the people that we've loved or let go of people we care about with rancour or in a vengeful way. What we desperately need though is to let go of the beliefs, wounds, attitudes and suspicions that poison our perceptions and erode the Love that we are, and that gave birth to our existence. Whatever this Eclipse may mean to you, it certainly represents another clearing being made in order for us to claim the opportunities that lie ahead. Knowing is the science of faith, and with Saturn in Sagittarius for the next few years, our faith and beliefs will be tested.

Joy and love are the main ingredients for successfully embracing the healing being offered in these times. It will be the joy of letting go of what no longer serves while loving ALL of you, no matter what you think about your stuff. That goes double about how you perceive the reflections of all the other souls around you. Be gentle with them, and with yourself because Sun in Libra is the ultimate balancing act.

And remember…don't look down!

Supermoon in Pisces/The Energy Times

I've had a lot of surprises in August, but actually, I'm not surprised. In fact, that should be everyone’s standard response for the rest of the year. “Hey, I wasn’t surprised”…or something like that. After Black Monday and Brown Tuesday, and “I Don’t Freakin’ Believe It” Wednesday, a lot of big and small investors around the world are downing antidepressants and alcohol. There’s been a binge crop of solar activity as well. We’ll talk all about that in the Energy Report segment below, but first…

We have a very busy rest of the month, and September has so much happening in it that I will be breaking this up into at least two or perhaps three consecutive reports. It's a right of passage, and we're on the verge of a lot more change and transformation! Look to the bottom of these posts to grab a look at the chart(s) or other supporting evidence pertaining to the content.

The first of three Super Full Moons occurs this Saturday at 19:35 BST in the U.K. A “supermoon”  is what occurs when the moon’s orbit is closest to the earth. It’s called a syzygy, which is a vortex of energy that is created by the Moon, Sun and Earth in alignment. When the moon is this close it can distort the tidal motions and the land masses are even slightly affected. Since our bodies and the viscous fluid that our brain floats in is mostly water, our equilibrium and mental and emotional bodies are impacted. This can create unexpected emotional responses, and fuzzy-headed thinking. For some it’ll be like being on drugs.

At the same time as this lunation, and the next one - a partial Solar Eclipse on September 13th, we have to still deal with Pluto, Chiron, Venus Uranus and Neptune in retrograde motion. Saturn also is still playing a big role in the current energies. Here are the dates of note to follow:

August 29th – This Supermoon is at 6 degrees and 6 minutes of Virgo and Pisces. Jupiter conjuncts the Sun and opposes the Moon, and expands the effects dramatically. Neptune is conjunct the Moon, and opposes the Sun, creating even more Piscean blurriness. Think of the word permeability, and you get the idea. No boundaries between you and the light and dark within. Anything that is dark and hidden will be brought into view.  There may be an aura of unreality to certain things, a look like a shimmering mirage in the distance. Is it an oasis, or an illusion up ahead? With this much Neptunian dazzle, it may look more like the Twilight Zone or an alternate universe.

The push-pull will be between work, analysing, and feeling practical versus the call of the great wild open Multiverse with all of its feelings, images, visions, and the desire to merge with the expansive realm of unrequited dreams, unconditional love and oneness. Shall we crack on with what’s at hand, or will you just hold me for eternity?  This is the nature of oppositions…a tug of war. Oppositions are always a call for balance, a negotiated win-win (hopefully). One of the things to pay heed to: where were you and what you were dwelling on when the Pisces Eclipse occurred on March 20th this year?  Perhaps something related to that time will reveal itself to your awareness this time around.

The New Moon on Sept.13th reintroduces more Virgoan themes, but this time the Sun and Moon will oppose retrograde Chiron at 19 Pisces. This will be covered in next week's post.

Helpful Hints: This could be a very emotional time and feel unwelcome, because darn it, you’ve got stuff to accomplish! (Virgo mind stuff). Full Moons are a release point though, so don’t fight it. I recommend grounding (Virgo) and comforting yourself while you witness your feelings. This is an opportunity to merge intuition with intellect…don’t let it slip past you!

September 1st – Mars and Venus go out on a date with Leo: This will be interesting…especially since Venus is still retrograde. She goes direct on the morning of the 7th of September in the U.K., culminating at 14 degrees and 24 minutes of Leo, and right next to Mr. Mars. This is the second conjoined meeting of three this year, with the next one on November 3rd. Check and see if you have anything around 14 plus degrees in your chart in the signs of Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio or Taurus. That’s where the action will be. The call to balance the masculine and feminine principles within us will feel a bit odd with Venus still moving backwards, and the Full Moon just happening and all that. Seems like a hello and a goodbye…a “Strangers in the Night Moment”, or Daniel Day Louis shouting across a battlefield “Stay alive! I will find you!” in Last of the Mohicans.  Can’t wait for round 3 on November 3rd!

The other event on this date is Saturn landing on the Anaretic 29th Degree of Scorpio. I’ve been excitedly reading up on what the 29th degree represents in each sign of the Zodiac, and it’s stunning how effective and inescapable it is. According to the medical astrologer Eileen Nauman, this is the Cosmic Hammer. Basically, if you have any planet, major asteroid or angle (Ascendent, Descendent, etc.) at 29 degrees, and a transiting planet, especially one of the outer transpersonal planets (Saturn, Uranus, etc.) makes contact with something in your natal chart when it arrives at the 29th degree, then any unresolved toxic emotions that have to do with the issues of that natal point will be released. You, as an individual, will have no control over this and it is work that must be done…hence the term Cosmic Hammer. It’s like between degrees 0 and 28, you can resist change. But at the 29th degree you no longer have free will or the ability to dictate to your own soul or the Universe. Forces beyond your control rise up to enforce the evolutionary imperative. Something’s gotta give, and the manifestation will appear to be something that happens outside of you that you will have no control over, but whatever it is will change your mind and your direction. By the way, the transiting planet doesn’t have to be a big outer one. The Sun, Mars and Venus have been transiting through the later degrees of Leo, and causing a spectacular ruckus with some folks when they've touched the 29th degree. The Nodes of the Moon are about to leave Aries-Libra, and then it will be at the 29th degree of Virgo-Pisces.  Saturn will return to Sagittarius on September 18th, but more on that in the next installment.

September 6th – Venus in Leo goes direct at 14 degrees and 24 minutes at 9:29 am BST on the morning of September 7th in the United Kingdom. This will be a welcome relief for those who have been through some of the toughest relationship challenges of their lives. There have been breakups, temporary get-togethers, reversing of fields, and just plain heartbreak and releasing since July 25th. Actually, Venus entered the shadow phase on June 22nd and the heat has been on ever since. Venus won’t exit the other side of the shadow period until October 9th, so don’t be too hasty to consider anything as a done deal. In fact, any rethinking that has happened during this retrograde that led to any decision-making of major consequence may end up doubling back on itself. The same way that buying a new car under a Mercury retrograde can create problem. Four or five months down the road you may wonder why you bought this lemon, and what you will wonder what it will take to get out from under it. Rash decisions could come back to haunt you, the other, or all parties involved. The past could indeed become prologue in some cases – i.e., what what looked like a final decision now looks untenable and that which was rejected is now embraced. Only time will tell, so please don’t stand still and hold your breath. These things have a way of sorting themselves out for the best good of all.

As Venus exits the retrograde, it forms a quincunx to Pluto in Capricorn and a trine to Uranus in Aries. The quincunx is a tension aspect that could bring some lessons concerning the sharing of power in relationships and the trine could create a need for more autonomy within your current relationship. Both require a redefining of boundaries and freedom.

The Energy Times:

In the last blog, The Kiss, I had a small section devoted to an Energy Report. Beginning with this issue, I am now calling it The Energy Times.

In that issue I mentioned some of the anomalies that I had been experiencing with electronic computing and telecommunications devices and networks. I also noted a distinct uptick in people getting feeling ill or health challenged but ongoing medical testing coming back with mixed or negative results, but symptoms persisting or worsening anyway. In some recent cases seemingly healthy people died suddenly, or those with chronic but non-life threatening situations also died suddenly. The last category that is noteworthy is emotional instability and a rise in lethargy and despair. In early August a number of friends and clients reported feeling like they just felt like giving up or had no idea what in the world to do with themselves. Some folks have been borderline suicidal in some cases. Dizziness, nausea, fainting spells, disorientation, and disorganization also were reported. And, as has been the case for some time now, disrupted sleeping patterns, or bouts of insomnia are widespread.

So in the last issue I invited you, the Reader, to submit anything that seemed out of the ordinary, and I got back some good responses. Reports varied from person-to-person, but overall the consensus on the Internet seemed almost universal. It seems that no matter where one lives, the serviceable speed and bandwidth has degraded noticeably…with no Internet Service Provider able to offer any reasonable explanation or solution. Other symptoms reported are laptops and mobile (cell) phones shutting down and restarting. Erratic message sending or messages and emails that went  missing into cyberspace. Hard drives crashing, data missing, and in some cases entire operating systems becoming unstable or inoperable, requiring a reinstallation.

My own take on these electronic and communications issues is two-fold. First, Uranus went retrograde on July 27th, and won’t go direct again until December 27th.  I feel that Uranus governs things electrical, and when Uranus was in the sign of Aquarius during the 1990’s it showed how influential it was in birthing the revolution in electronic computing and hand-held communications equipment. So, don’t expect things to ease much until after New Year’s Day,  when Uranus gets up a head of steam and begins to move forward again. What the lesson might be here is to show us how overly dependent and addicted we’ve become to our gadgets. Another more intriguing factor is geopathic stress. I have been feeling for some time the deep symbiotic connect between the ecosphere of our planet, particularly its electro-magnetic field, and the Sun’s sunspot and CME (coronal mass ejections) cycles. We’re not in a solar maximum cycle, but since late June there have been long periods of geomagnetic storming induced by CME’s and coronal streams of super-charged particles streaming into the upper atmosphere. I’ve heard that some geophysicists are concerned that erratic solar activity is affecting the Earth’s magnetic core, the tides, the gravitational fields, and also our biological functions.

I’m still researching and compiling links and articles and hopefully provide a list in the next issue. Perhaps Gaia’s awakening is getting quiet active, and merits a closer understanding. There is also new data indicating that solar activity is the main driver of our weather patterns, and El Nino’ and El Nina’ in the eastern and central Pacific Ocean. The non-existent summer in Ireland may be by-product of processes involving our Sun we’re just beginning to understand. The solar effects may also extend to the increase in tectonic activity, with larger quakes and more volcanic activity lighting up the headlines for the past three months. People who are electro-sensitive or empathic react to geopathic stress and solar activity, and the symptoms are quite pronounced for some in the emotional and psychological changes they experience. Some exhibit strong physical reactions that feel quite real, but medical testing cannot detect as yet. Perhaps the instrumentation used is still not sensitive enough to register the effects of magnetic fluctuations on the human cellular structures. More to follow in the next issue!

P.S. To underscore the weirdness, a blog of mine from July 15th started appearing in my subscriber's inboxes today, and I have no clue how it happened!

Black Monday Special Report:

Last Monday (August 24th) the world financial markets reacted very negatively to what was happening on the China's stock exchange. It seems that most folks were surprised by the ferocity of how it impacted the other exchanges around the world. I’ve been watching the Chinese exchange since late July when a sell-off began that no one in China could figure out. Steadily the losses climbed…and the Chinese authorities stood by and did nothing. Was it insider trading? Was the Chinese dominance in manufacturing and finance finally overheating and losing forward momentum? The downward spiral continued, and the Chinese central bank did nothing to shore up its currency. However, it did start to quietly sell off U.S.Treasury bonds These bonds are traded by the U.S. government to fund the cash it buys from the Federal Reserve, the American central bank. The money raised from the treasury bonds keeps the U.S liquidity going. They are seen as an investment, with yields calculated over decades in the future based on projected growth. If growth slows down, then the bonds lose value. It is estimated that China has 2-3 trillion dollars worth of U.S. bonds. If it starts selling them in large enough quantities to shore up its own growth and protect the Yuan, then investors will begin to lose confidence and sell off stocks and commodities based on the speculation of a downturn economically. Last week the first wave hit on August 21s, when the U.S. stock index, the Dow Jones lost over 300 points. The next day the losses climbed to 550 plus points. This past Monday panic set in. Predictive astrology is a risky business. Nonetheless I am paying attention to what some of the best ones are talking about just now, because a few of them accurately predicted the events of the past 10 days. And they don’t see an end to the bumpy ride either. So I am preparing a three-part series about many interrelated topics for the months of September and October, and they will post independently from the usual astrological reports. Part of this series will be focusing on our current beliefs about money, debt, economics and sustainability and spirituality and how we may be at a crossroads that could force us to dramatically alter our viewpoints about our culture so that we can survive and thrive in a new way on this planet.

The Cardinal Grand Cross - April 23rd 2014

“In the beginning was the thing.  And one thing led to another” - Tom Robbins ("Half Asleep In Frog Pajamas")

This may or may not be one of those dates in our times that we look back upon, point to and say, “Well, that was something else!”  After the Cuban missile crisis of 1962 was over and done, one British journalist called it “That Was the Week That Was.”  Perhaps these eight days could be dubbed “The Pressure Cooker” as it contains so many powerful aspects that it is easy to miss the details with so much steam boiling around the senses.

In order to interpret the energies of this extended week, I must ask the reader to be patient with the chronology, as well as the analysis.  As best as possible, I will describe the potent potentialities from a completely human and planetary feeling, rather than under the glare of cold intellect.  There is nothing either fluffy nor intellectual about this alignment and the contrast of the celestial Archetypes.  I’d advise all who read this to conduct a thorough gut check.  Regardless of the date of this publication, many of us have been quite aware, psychically, of the energy that’s been building since late February.   

A Grand What?

In astrological parlance, a Grand Cross is created when there are four planets each positioned 90° (called a Square aspect) apart from each other and at the same degree across the four astrological elements (Fire, Earth, Air, and Water).   This also creates a pair of Oppositions of two planets 180° apart.   Visualize a circle with a cross inscribed in the center and connect the points along the outer rim of the circle.

Focus, Focus

Even though the complete development of this configuration occurs over a period of eight days, there are three primary days on which it is most potent.  Although all life forms on Earth are affected by the electromagnetics of planetary and celestial movements, each individual will invariably interpret the experience through their own unique filters and perceptions.  Therefore, I will speak in general terms regarding the possible effects or manifestations of this configuration.  It’s like doing a reading for the entire Planet, as if it were the client and we are just the mites on her clothes…which, admittedly, is a bad analogy. 

So, the focus will be on a planetary scale, then the possible impacts in our personal universes and, lastly, the big deal of how this Grand Cross may affect the most powerful nation on Earth…the United States of America. For surely, whatever will affect America will affect the rest of the world.

Day 1 – April 15th

This is a real laugher…but only if you’re an American citizen and still feel you must fill out a tax return.  This is Tax Filing Day in the USA, but is also the day of a powerful Lunar Eclipse with the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries, which may just spark off some revolutionary fervour in the subterranean landscape of the American psyche.   

The scales (Libra) are way out of balance between the haves and have nots, as the highest percentage of tax burden in the U.S. falls upon the middle class, while the lowest contribution comes from the top 1% income bracket.  Social Services are under increasing strain to provide for a record number of people on various forms of government support, which in turn are funded from taxpayer contributions or heavy Federal borrowing.  On top of that, corporate tax contributions have dwindled as more and more multinational corporations shelter their wealth offshore. 

With fiery trouble-maker Uranus parked in the sign of Aries, this may become a lit fuse in the months and years ahead, and take the form of tax protests or even non-compliance and challenges in the courts.  Something’s got to give!

Note: April 28-29th is another point to be aware of, as there will be a Solar Eclipse at 6:13am UT. The Sun and Moon will station at 8 degrees of Taurus. I’ll speak to this in a future blog if I feel it warrants further exploration.

Day 2 – April 21st

Jupiter, like all astrological Planets (with the exception of the Sun and Moon), undergoes a period of “retrograde” motion during which it seems to stop and retrace its steps across the sky and then return to its direct motion. April 21st is the day that Jupiter arrives at 13° 39” minutes of Cancer for the final time, exactly conjoining and activating the USA Sun. 

Uranus, at 13° 34” Aries and Mars at 13° 31” Libra form almost exact Squares (90° angle) with that same USA Natal Sun position, while Pluto completes the pattern at 13° 34” Capricorn opposing that very same American Sun position…but with one important difference – Pluto is now retrograde.  This occurrs the day before the eclipse on April 14th. Remember, retrogrades mean a turning inward - self-examination.

The challenge from Uranus is that “…change not chosen from within, will be imposed from without.”  Revolution or calamity from unexpected quarters is the result of hegemony, hubris and pride.  Jupiter just expands this tension and Mars urges action while issuing this “in your face” very Plutonic challenge: “Power is illusory and fleeting.  Nurturing and true compassion must replace the tendency to smother your children...all in the name of security (fear).”

Day 3 - April 23rd, 2014                                                                                                                        
Okay, this is the main event for 2014.  Everything else unfolds from this point (and the ringing leftover from the Lunar Eclipse eight days prior).

Regardless of your perception or understanding of astrology, my experience with major transits that encompass the global situation is that something always happens before, during or after a major alignment such as this one.   Many astrologers (including yours truly) have painstakingly examined major historical events or long-term cycles and have seen how they are both instigated and mirrored by the energies in astrology.  In recent times, the Saturn-Pluto opposition that occurred just prior to the event we know as 9/11 (September 11th, 2001) and the economic meltdown of 2007-2008 (Pluto ingresses into the sign of Capricorn), and the Japanese earthquake, tsunami and subsequent nuclear disaster at Fukushima in 2011 (Uranus ingresses into Aries – March 11th, 2011) are all excellent examples of these processes.  (Click here to read an example I blogged about a while back.)

What is most personal about this chart is that it will be like a gun going off at the beginning of a horserace.  If you have the Sun or any planets or angles (Ascendant, Descendent, MidHeaven, or I.C.) within 3-6 degrees of the position of each of our cast of characters (see above), then you are like a thoroughbred chafing at the bit to get going with whatever is in direct alignment for your Soul and your life purpose.  This will involve a letting go or falling away of whatever it is that no longer works or that you want for you in your experience, but the primary energy is one of new directions and new beginnings.  The pressure cooker of the past three to six months will start to ease off after this point. 

Since Uranus pulls the trigger on the whole Grand Cross, it is nigh impossible to predict every contingency or permutation. Remaining in a state of openness, or expectancy, will be a more sensible response to the pressures involved than trying to screw yourself up as if you’re trying to avoid a blow.  Lightning strikes when you’re not looking for it, and with Uranus in Aries, activated and expanded by Jupiter in Cancer, expect lightning to strike the waters and churn up lots of steam and thunderheads! Decisions will have to be made, and striking out in new directions will be initiated. Trying to maintain the status quo will only increase the tension, and the pain. Don’t resist, and there will be fewer dramas and traumas!

The main personal themes will include your personal relationships and relationship dynamics, finances, home and security, and the level or quality of individual freedom.   There will be an edgy knowing that it is time to be living your destiny, or allowing your destiny to live through you!  This requires imagination, a sense of adventure (even when the butterflies are buzzing in your belly) and a willingness to chart your own course.  And, anyone who tries to stand in your way may have a rough time of it.

However, the humbling caution here is to remember that these astrological archetypes, as represented by various Greek or Roman names, are bigger than all of us, and operate like living entities via the collective or shared consciousness of humanity. Therefore, what is yours to be and do, is both a self-selective process that invites you to participate with the planetary consciousness, with Mother Gaia.   So in one respect, the celestial ‘characters’ in our human journey are expressing their attributes through the human experience, which then influences our individual and collective choices, and also contributes to the totality of the vision of this world as a sentient Being…which connects us to everything that is.

On a collective and global level, this Cardinal Grand Cross is just 1/7th of a process that began in 2011-12 which started a cycle of seven squares between Pluto and Uranus.  One of the Plutonian aspects is that of the Lord of Death, so many things we have either cherished or invested in, no matter what culture or country we reside in, will be falling away to make room for Uranian re-evolution and innovation.  This journey began when Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, precipitating the financial meltdowns that occurred over the next three years.  Perhaps the seven squares represent the activation and cleansing of the seven collective chakras in the shared unconscious.  That may be stretching things a bit far symbolically, no matter how much one wants to connect dots.

It will be necessary to remain open to the truth that there is only one constant we may rely upon…the constant of change.  Lightning will strike, wherever and whenever our divine design deems it necessary to awaken us from our slumbers or delusions.  Uranus in Aries is this species clarion call for the collective kundalini awakening, which heralds the return of the Divine Feminine in equanimity and balance with the Sacred Masculine. Shakti rises to activate and meet Shiva. The Earth awakens to shake the foundations of the powers of patriarchy and confound and dissolve the structures of oppression that have enslaved humankind for almost 10,000 years.

To complete this analysis, I must conclude with a more comprehensive analysis on how this alignment may affect the USA.  It is a geopolitical, cultural and economic fact of our era that whatever occurs to, or with, the United States of America affects the entire global experience…for good or ill.  The Cardinal Grand Cross of April 23rd will alter the course of America, but in exactly what way I cannot predict. 

I have used the commonly accepted natal chart for the U.S. which is July 4th, 1776 at 5:10pm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The exactness of the main planetary characters of this Grand Cross to the USA Natal Sun is quite remarkable.


Having personally experienced transiting Pluto opposing my natal Sun in Cancer for the last two years, it is apparent that the very national identity of the America is in the crosshairs.  Jupiter exactly conjoins the USA Sun degree, while Pluto exactly opposes it.  This identity crisis is expanded by the effect of Jupiter to expand or exaggerate, and since the U.S.Sun is in Cancer, Pluto will rightly be asking “who do you think you are?” 

Is America supposed to be the world’s policeman, demanding compliance to its wishes and whims, all the while maintaining the attitude of superiority and smothering any culture or people it deems to threaten her national interests? This is the shadow persona of America’s Cancer Sun, the patriarch Saturn ruling Capricorn, Cancer’s opposite. Perhaps there will be an epic shift in the principles on which America was founded, a shift that returns it to the best in its roots, but also a shift in which that which is archaic and outmoded is finally done away with. The USA's Cancer Sun archetype seeks to invite, embrace and nurture those who've been oppressed. This is the core identity of America, before it became co-opted.

Meanwhile, Uranus in Aries opposed by Mars in Libra (retrograde) will be demanding a major course correction of the direction of this nation. If no action is initiated by either the citizens of the U.S., or by its governmental structures and those hidden behind the scenes that pull the strings, then there may be consequences not foreseen by anyone. With Mars in the U.S. house of career/profession, and Uranus in the 4th House of familial identity, tradition and history, the tension will be focusing on how economic resources are distributed for the mutual benefit of all. Continuing the current economic model will be unwise. The response to the continuation of ‘business as usual’, the way Wall Street and the banksters want to keep it, may be a popular movement similar to Occupy Wall Street. But with Mars and Pluto both retrograde, and Uranus and Jupiter dominant, the reaction may become chaotic or even violent at times. This depends on the strength of the mask of Plutonian authority, and how far those in power are willing to go to preserve their game.  As in the game of golf, someone on the team may be playing with a handicap.  In this case it is Pluto and Mars who are paired up, both with -10 handicaps.  Uranus and Jupiter will be busy trashing the greens and tearing up the fairways…IF, there is no meaningful change of direction. If America is to survive in some form it must alter its entrenched perceptions, and move towards an Earth-friendly and egalitarian consciousness of mutual cooperation with the other nations and peoples of this world. 

This is the challenge to America…grow up or diminish.  If it does diminish, its fall may be more spectacular than that of the Roman Empire. But that may still take a hundred years…or more.

Now, I must admit that this is all being said through my interpretive filters, and none of the above may happen, or some unforeseen lightning strike, perhaps another 9/11 style event, may cause the correction to occur, or at least begin.  Whichever way it plays out, something WILL happen…and it will probably be quite a surprise or even a shock.  With Saturn retrograding in Scorpio, the potential for a whole pot of scandals to come to the boil and blow the lid off may be a distinct possibility…a wild card in the hand of the Fates.

Don’t Panic! (A Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On…)

The good news is that the dolphins are still here (a nod to Douglas Adams).  I wish there was a "Hitchhikers Guide to the Earth" though and that for each and every situation we could quickly look up a solution or meaning to some event and feel more okay about it all. 

As I am finishing this blog, I have been noticing the recent increase in geological disturbances around the fabled Ring of Fire (please click here, here and here for recaps of most recent activity). This region covers the entire Pacific Rim, and of late, the west coasts of the Americas have been heating up. Yellowstone, Los Angeles, Chile and now Panama have been rocked in a very short time span. Volcanic activity started picking up a few weeks ago, and the theory of traveling volcanism as a harbinger of earthquake activity has always seemed to have been born out…at least in my experience. Could some major geological event be the trigger that galvanizes the United States, or the world?  It happened in Indonesia in 2004 and in Japan in 2011. Lightning striking…again? Only time will tell. With the power in the Lunar Eclipse on April 15th centered in this Grand Cross, anything is possible.

Regarding the possible rumblings or eruptions in your own body or personal world, I recommend that self-care will be essential, as well as being available to those in your periphery who are perhaps facing difficult challenges or decisions at this time.  If you are a counsellor or body-worker, then you might be experiencing an increase of clients who are 'in crises' over the past three months. This will continue to peak over the next two weeks and on into May.

For yourself: Take a little time apart from others. Go for a walk in nature, or have a sea salt or Epsom salt baths with essential oils like lavender, frankincense or geranium. Take a walk in nature daily, or earth yourself by placing your bare feet in contact with the grass, sandy beaches or even a cement sidewalk. A friend of mine recently shared that she found it incredibly nurturing to roll herself up in a duvet, like a bug in a rug, and just self-cuddle. I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds good!

For others: When others are stressing out, remember to breathe and ground into your own center. Then attempt to be present for them. Just the art of listening to what someone else is going through, without trying to fix them or offer advice, can be healing for the other person in and of itself. If there is a serious emotional or psychological issue, encourage the individual towards counselling (I recommend more holistic forms, like transpersonal psychotherapy or psychosynthesis.) or perhaps somatic (body) work that addresses emotional stresses. Sometimes, just sharing a hug or holding someone in pain will do the trick.

Our bodies are constantly processing not only our individual stresses, but those in the collective experience. Some folks are also sensitive enough to mirror the tectonic and geological stresses on a planetary level. In varying ways, we are each other’s 'keeper', and although the Uranus in Aries archetype exalts the concept of individuation, it doesn't not reduce or supplant the real need we have for companionship and community. Libra is the complementary opposite, and asks that we embrace our uniqueness and also the uniqueness in the 'other'. See them for who they are, and what they reflect back to will be their inherent beauty, and not your idea of who they are.

When the Earth moves, let us embrace each other.

“Breaking Up is Hard to Do”

I have been getting a longer range sense of what this energy of April 2013 may be defining for us as a species. We may be starting to go through a split...a split that is a foundation shift from the old patriarchal order to be sure, and that will also include a spiritual/psychic split of some kind.

The human race can begin a return to the higher wisdom of Nature, which the Gnostic philosophers identified as the “Sophianic Vision” (Sophia is the Wisdom Goddess). This is a vision of how we may experience ourselves as thriving, cooperating and co-creating together, or the current direction may well continue to fragment human beings into isolation via technology and environmental degradation. In one way, our technology has shown us our collective mind, but in so doing, we have lost sight of the fact that it is merely an externalized example of the connection we possess with each other already, and with the planet we all reside upon. The Internet is the outward manifestation of our natural telepathic and empathic connection that is inherent to us as a species...our neural network made visible. This differs from 'hive mind', or artificial intelligence, because that is an inorganic model that demands conformity based on forms of hierarchy.

Therefore, I feel that we are at a significant crossroads at this time, and that this celestial event has something to say to all of us about our conditioned beliefs and our bad habits, individually and as a species.  Some of us will choose the former road, choosing to reunite with our humanity, Nature and Mother Earth, which is naturally loving, generous and presents us with an immense potential to thrive and live harmoniously within the biosphere and with all of Life, including the wider Cosmos.  Some may continue in the other direction, into cyberspace, trans-humanism and further disconnection from the human soul – the 'nous' that is our divine gift. This is an evolutionary dead-end.

If we gain the necessary wisdom soon, we will be able to place our technologies into a higher order of service to our humanity and in harmony with our planet.  In my heart, I feel that the majority of us are responding to the call of our roots, which are sourced in the divine and also very, very human.  This is where a heaven on Earth may be created…this is where we are now, with this spark of divine intelligence and with these bodies, on this planet. We cannot escape to somewhere more magical or more magnificent.  It is here that we belong.  And yes, through our bodies and our souls, and through this living planet, we are eternally connected to everything.

It’s here, all inside of us AND outside of us.  Embrace both perspectives as already one, and the illusion of separation vanishes like smoke.

The spiritual warrior archetype, so exemplified in Uranus in Aries, now challenges us to take our next steps courageously, and with a warrior's sense of adventure. However, this time, we are all spiritual warriors who are watching out for each other’s welfare. We are in this thing together...and wherever that thing leads to next, will depend on the breadth of our imagination, and how we act to embody our vision. May we choose wisely.

This Easter weekend is a very interesting time for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the unusual planetary alignments that are taking place. It has been less than a fortnight since a tiny island nation [Cyprus] was turned into a nation of serfs, a new Pope was installed in Rome, and Obama made his first visited Israel as President of the United States.  April Fool’s Day looms very significantly just over the horizon.  Perhaps there is a message in that too.  No matter what is in the headlines, they are sure to obscure the underlying truths of our times.

The main event, astrologically speaking, remains in the realm of the unpredictable - Uranus in Aries. Joined this week by the Sun, Venus and Mars, the pot is being well-stirred.  There are many major and minor points I could pursue in this realm alone, but that is not the intent of this Easter message.

Many years ago, during my second spiritual activation in my early 20’s, I was an avid student of the Edgar Cayce materials.  Cayce did over 5,000 Life Readings over the course of three decades, and the story and teachings of Jesus was at the core of his work. While in trance, one of the oft repeated themes was “…only in Christ do all extremes meet.”  I spent two years in Virginia Beach, VA., investigating the massive catalogue of channeled material that Cayce left for posterity, while at the same time I also immersed myself in other mystical traditions, such as the Rosicrucians, the Kabbalah, Tibetan Buddhism and esoteric Christianity.

One of the most controversial set of discourses Cayce did was centered on The Book of Revelation by St. John the Beloved. This last book of the contemporary Christian Bible has always troubled theologians and novices, because of its wild and sometimes incomprehensible imagery, and the predictions of a final apocalypse between good and evil. 

In a medical reading for a patient, a doctor asked for more information about how to treat the patient’s troublesome thyroid condition. Cayce recommended he study Revelations, if he were to gain a full understanding of the human energy system and the endocrine glands of the human body. The doctor was intrigued, and over a period of months the doctor got what he wanted and much more. The Book of Revelation was a diary of St. John’s transfiguration into Christ Consciousness, not a predictive warning about the End of the World.  Every symbol and verse described the process of purification and illumination of John’s physical, mental, and spiritual identities.  Since the publication of this analysis by Cayce, some within the Association of Research and Enlightenment (the foundation formed to continue studying the Cayce materials) have thought that Revelations had a personal and planetary relevance, based on the law of correspondence;  ‘as above, so below’.

The Book of Revelation is happening on global and personal scale at this time, and this process of purification and illumination is gathering speed and intensity.  It is not happening in the way that Christian Fundamentalists have interpreted the verses, in a literal manner without any acknowledgment of allegorical or symbolic meaning.  It is happening through an infusion of Consciousness via galactic and solar energies.  This heralds a direct awakening of Spirit in matter, activating the shadow for purification, and instilling the Christ Consciousness directly into the very subatomic structures of our bodies, Mother Earth and the Cosmos.  Light and sound, originating from the Heart of the Cosmos, is igniting the kundalini fire.

The third square between Pluto and Uranus will arrive on May 20th, exactly two months after the Spring Equinox.  Pluto will be retrograde and Uranus direct – the world’s powers will be weakened, while the power of the individual will be exalted.  As more and more individuals resurrect the Divine Codes of Creation within their bodies, then the individuation of The Sacred Heart of Life in the form organic Light will activate all.  This will not necessarily be a consistently blissful experience, and like the crucifixion-resurrection process described in the Gospels, it could be a Dark Night of the Soul passage before the dawn arrives.

Which brings me to the Secret of The Passion.

One of the tenets of orthodox and fundamentalist Christians is that Jesus’ crucifixion was to cleanse sin from all humanity. Part of this is supported by passages from the Old Testament, which over the centuries was expanded upon by the Catholic interpretations and dogma.  The overwhelming precedent of this doctrine had to do with the nature of the Crucifixion and Resurrection, and that through this ordeal, the Christ Spirit actually took on the sins of the world during the Good Friday Passion, and then redeemed it through the Resurrection on the morning of the third day (Sunday).  I won’t go into all the biblical references here, and encourage the reader to research it, if desired.

As interesting as the interpretation of the Book of Revelations was through the Superconscious perspective of Edgar Cayce, the metaphysical description of the reasons and process of the Crucifixion and Resurrection far surpassed it.  From many disparate readings there emerges a pattern of information that describes the symbolic, physical and metaphysical reasons for Jesus’ choosing of this way of At-one-ment. Indeed, He must have chosen it, as there were plenty of chances to leave Jerusalem and escape to some remote part of Judea. 

Ever since the time of the ‘Fall’, which was a condition of unconsciousness and forgetfulness that was induced upon humanity by an extra-terrestrial influence that occurred over a lengthy time frame beginning 256,000 years ago and leading up to and including the ancient civilizations of Sumeria and Egypt, human beings have experienced an acute sense of separateness from the spiritual dimensions and the greater Cosmos.  Somewhere along the way , the human genetic code was altered and manipulated…fear and death entered into the collective and individual experience.  Modern genetics used to call the 97% of our inactive DNA ‘junk’. Now they just call it dormant…and no one knows why it is in such a state. But, I digress…

Many of the archetypes in our history relate to stories of fallen beings, such as Lucifer and Satan, along with references to snakes and reptilian humanoids. Some may stem directly from our racial memories of reptoid geneticists that influenced the earliest human beings.  Perhaps the Sumerian tablets aren’t allegorical at all. In the past two years, I’ve correlated enough information from my own intuition and other sources, such as the shamanic traditions of indigenous cultures, that these ‘outsiders’ created an alternate reality for humankind that was not part of our original divine design or intent. That we agreed to such an interference is another story altogether, but when laid side-by-side with Cayce’s information that ‘Adam’, the first self-conscious homo sapiens, knew that he would become the man who would embody the Christ Spirit and redeem the planet and humanity at some future point, then a choice to ‘fall’ in order to rise above the conditions of suffering and death so prevalent in the world may have been by design.

Cayce describes the planetary psychic energy of 2,000 odd years ago as at a critical juncture in Earth’s evolution. There was so much accumulated negativity, that unless the living and aware Presence of Love of the Creator interrupted the timeline, then the fate of Earth and all humanity would be catastrophic and swift. The readings strongly indicated that there was no enforced action upon this situation…Spirit never interferes with free will.  Instead, the Readings describe that the intuition and devotion of the early Essenes over a 400-year period prepared the way for the embodiment of the Christ to become a possibility.

The actual crucifixion was described as an alchemical cleansing and reclamation of the planetary geometries and life force.  Blood carries more than nutrients, oxygen and genetic information…it is at core the manifestation in the physical realm of the Soul Forces. The blood of Jesus, infused with the overlighting consciousness of The Christ (Atman, First Cause, Only Begotten Son), alchemically cleansed the Earth and the lower astral planes surrounding it of all misqualified thoughts and emotions. This process would not prevent future mistakes or negativity, but the intercession supposedly did halt the entropy that was already underway.  At the same time, as the spiritually-infused blood entered into the subatomic fabric of Earth, a spiritual quickening similar to the conception of a child occurred, ensuring that the Earth would survive the times we are in now. This has been a 2,000-year long pregnancy, and it is close to being full term now. 

In the Cayce material, The Resurrection was described as both etheric and physical. The real body of the man Jesus was also quickened to a rate of vibration as to become non-corporeal…no longer visible in the visual electromagnetic spectrum. On Easter morning, this conversion of matter from one state of energy into another was still on-going, as Jesus cautioned Magdalene, “…touch me not, for I have not yet ascended unto My Father.” The mingling of two different rates of vibration may have altered the transfiguration process, necessitating Jesus to instruct Magdalene in this way.

The Jesus that appeared then to different groups of the disciples and to other individuals seemed to be sometimes very solid and physical, like when the Apostle Thomas could actually place his fingers into the holes in Jesus’ hands left from the nails, while at other times he seemed almost a phantom…appearing and disappearing with ease.

There are many other interesting threads of information, some possibly real and others merely allegorical, that describes in detail many subtle nuances of the drama that unfolded two millennia ago in little Palestine.  Whenever I read that Jesus was just another prophet or teacher, or that he probably never existed and is merely a composite of other, earlier myths and allegorical tales, then I come back to one salient point.  Why would anyone ever risk so much, including torture and violent death, to preach about something that never happened?  And yet, those persons who were definitely historically real and deemed to be closest to the Master did exactly that.  Whether the evidence is circumstantial can be debated forever. 

My direct experience in this lifetime, ever since I was very young, is that the person of Jesus is, and was, as real as myself, and that he may have been the first human being to overcome the falsehood of physical death looms large for me.  One of the major components of ‘The Template’ ceremonies that I’ve participated in is that death was introduced via the manipulation of DNA, as was the condition of fear. Would we approach life in a physical experience differently if we knew in our heart of hearts that we were immortal?  Could we imagine what would be possible on this planet once the veil of denial about ourselves and our origins were completely known?  “These works shall ye do, and greater” is the reminder.  When the original Divine Blueprint is restored, and all DNA reactivated, this is the resurrection into our Original Innocence. Then, all things do become possible.

From the Cayce Readings: "I and my Father are one. Then they took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, many good works have I shown you from my Father; for which of these do you stone me? They answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God. Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law: I said 'you are gods?" - John 10:30-34, Jesus quoting Psalm 82:6 to defend his teaching that God dwells within all human beings.  In essence, Cayce described the Christ Soul as the impelling force and core of truth behind all religions that teach that "God is One."  Fortunately, religion is already obsolete, and will crumble in the light of direct realization of our being the ‘sons and daughters of The One.’

Also from the Readings: “…Jesus ‘became the first of those that overcame death in the body, enabling Him to so illuminate, to so revivify that body as to take it up again, even when those fluids of the body had been drained away by the nail holes in His hands and by the spear piercing His side.” [I’ve attempted to locate the reference number of the Reading that this comes from, but without success. It is reprinted in Jeffrey First’s book “Edgar Cayce’s Story of Jesus]

As the revelations in the field of quantum physics unfolds, and begins to substantiate the holographic nature of what we loosely call ‘reality’ we will be even more confronted by what we will see…our identity as a fractal of the Christ Consciousness, living in an individuated state within a physical embodiment and in an apparently physical Universe. We will also be able to access states of awareness and experiences far beyond anything we would have allowed ourselves to envision even 10 years ago. This will possible only if we rediscover the Christ in us, that courageous heart in which all extremes meet.

If we are to represent the Second Coming, then we must abandon hope of it. That is to say, we choose the silent power of the Heart in order to dissolve the version of the world as we have been told it is, instead of ‘hoping’ for becoming something better in the future.  Christ Consciousness  is not meek, but vital…courageous and compassionate, stillness and action…peaceful and passionate…gentle, yet fierce.  Fierce love, unafraid and deliberate. We only limit ourselves, or give permission to others to limit us.

The Easter archetype is one of rising up, from what seems to be sorrow and death, but enters into Light and Joy. The Secret of The Passion, is that we are life without boundaries, without limits. To live this passionately is not the way of the world.  If we follow in the footsteps of the Christ within, the world will not praise us or support us, because it does not understand that the only law worth obeying is in the core of our Divine Heart. That is why the world has destroyed the previous messengers and perverted the messages.  It does so out of fear…fear of discovery, and fear of losing its control over the Earth.  In the day between the crucifixion and the Resurrection, Christ blazed a trail of Light through the realms of Death, beginning the process of planetary ascension/resurrection.  This is why it is inevitable that the old world must fade, in order for the new to appear.  New wine will burst old skins, and we are all shedding our skins these days.

As a final note, I want to share something that a good astrologer and friend, Dale O’Brien, recently sent out in his newsletter. Here’s the first paragraph, about a Mayan Elder, Don Alejandro, and a prediction he made in 1999 about this coming Easter Sunday.

“… prominent Mayan Elder Don Alejandro (“Wandering Wolf”) predicted that on March 31st of 2013 the Sun would be hidden for 60 to 70 hours. After this brief time of darkness, he said that we then enter the “period of the Fifth Sun.” “Wandering Wolf” relayed this message not to frighten nor to threaten, but to help us to understand perhaps the most significant part of our transition of consciousness into the New Era. Mayan elder Henbits Men repeated the same story and timeframe.  Some non-Mayans have repeated the same message. Variations of the time of darkness vary from as little as three hours to as much as three days (72 hours). I could find no recent updates or retractions on this subject. Relevant or not, March 31st of this year is also Easter Sunday. Some who have returned from a recent spiritual pilgrimage to Mayan sacred sites speak instead of March 21st 2013 as the time when “things related to the new era consciousness really start actively, actually happening.”

Whether anything this dramatic occurs remains to be seen. However, it is always a good idea to follow the sage advice to ‘be prepared for anything’.

In closing, I extend to you all the blessings of love, empowerment and sovereignty from my heart to yours.  May we all listen in the silence of our own hearts for the still, small voice of the Core of Creation, inspiring us to throw off all the chains and to be and do whatever it is we are gifted to share in assisting with the transfiguration and resurrection of ourselves, our fellow human beings, and the Earth. The darkness of the birthing canal is ending…and the Light is ready to welcome us into home.

Have you been feeling like you’re starring in your own video game?  (I have to thank my partner Lynn for that one)  Have you lost track of your human identity lately, and have looked everywhere for it?  Can’t remember where your house keys or online passwords have gotten to?  Are you spatially challenged, and think you’re just turning into a klutz?  Or are you spontaneously crying when looking at a picture of some nature scene or cute furry creature?  If so, then welcome to the next level…welcome to the quantum flux.

This quantum flux is being like everywhere and nowhere at once.  Mental activity is becoming severely compromised and jumbled, as if too many messages or tasks are having head-on collisions inside your synaptic centers.  At the same time, you may feel your feeling nature and some emotional states are becoming mega-amplified.  This is leading to major clearing of old guilt and shame patterns, and causing general heart conditions and symptoms. Some folks swear they’re having mini-strokes when their heart and pulse begins to race or vibrate in strange ways.  All of these ‘symptoms’ are essentially harmless, except to your old pictures of reality and belief structures.  These thoughtforms will become increasingly difficult to maintain as this year progresses, and into 2014-2015 hanging on to them may become hazardous to your health and well-being.

I borrowed the term ‘quantum flux’ from a very funny movie called ‘Galaxy Quest’ (see image above), but it does illustrate the energy that has actually been building since the December 21st, 2012 activation point.  The Mayan elder Hunbatz Men also described the kick-off of this post 2012 party in a transmission published in early February of this year. Entitled “The Energy of 2013.”  This article is the first of a series that addresses the various activations and influences throughout this year, especially in the form of cometary bodies that will be passing through our Solar System.  One of the most interesting events of the past few weeks was the resignation of Pope Benedict from his post as the Vicar of Christ in the Catholic Church.  Signs and portents are everywhere evident, evidence of quantum change and flux that has been ushered in on the threshold of this new cycle.  

The esoteric science of astrology is changing as well, must change in fact, if it is to reflect our new understanding of ourselves as the Universe.  The old ways and old traditions will no longer suffice to explain the predicament of our sequential lifetimes of learning and suffering, or the blind acceptance of the wheel of birth, death and karma. The Moon is an interloper, and recent scientific inquiry suspects that more than our own Moon may be of artificial origins in our Solar System.  One of Mars’ moons, Phobos, is currently under scrutiny, and one of Saturn’s moons bears many similarities to the anomalies of Earth’s sole satellite.  The Earth’s orbit and it’s polar tilt may also be the result of interplanetary interference and catastrophes.  Human consciousness is addicted to tradition, and it is a barrier to evolution and the ability to access truth.  Never has there been a more important time than now to ask the question “…is that true?” about everything.  Developing discernment via the Heart, without losing partnership with critical thought, will be like holding a lantern up in the darkness.

If all that sounds radical to you, or in some way dismissive of our humanity, I can assure you it is not.  The new understanding will view that the restoration of the human design to its original Divine Blueprint allows for us to access any Universal perspective within time/space through the human body and the Earth Herself. The full meaning of ‘Second Coming’ is the ‘Second Resurrection’…the full reclamation and resurrection of the original human design, the revealing of a transcendent Gaia and the restoration of the original harmony with our Solar System and Galaxy.

We are simultaneously the activators, witnesses, and we directly experience this Quantum Ascension. Prime Source initiates it through the starseeds and renegade agents of Light that have embedded themselves in the current dysfunctional survivalist-based paradigm, and acts upon the collective field like a singular virus of Infinite Love to dissolve the veil, expose the manipulations and those who are the manipulators, and activate the codes with the human Soul Matrix to awaken from the imposed hypnotic state that has held this planet in thrall for eons.  In addition to Earth, Source Consciousness’ effects can be witnessed within all the planets of our local system.  I’ve provided an excellent compendium of recently recorded data about what is transpiring in the heavens.

Although many are deeply involved in the daily struggle of living in this world, it is essential to begin to live who you are in the most authentic manner possible.  The promise of really seeing real change in this world rests on how you view yourself, and how to look at the world as it is, while remaining open to the potential world that lies just beyond our perception.  How you reveal who you are directly impacts the consciousness of many.  It will become ever more important to demonstrate the new human, ‘homo divinitus’ in an active and committed way.  Being spiritually active may manifest for some as some sort of social action. For example, here in Ireland, one young lady took up the cause of ridding the water supply of state-mandated pollution via fluoride.  It has grown exponentially from the one to many, and it is by agitating for change outside the normal and acceptable routes of political action that will be the most effective way.  Or, many may feel drawn to doing volunteer work in a hospice or local organic food cooperative.  

If you are having difficulty with finding your right livelihood, I do not recommend trying to find it from a mode of survival consciousness. That is the very paradigm you are designed to dissolve. Consciousness is dissolving the foundations of the old order, and nothing that is not in resonance with the new Earth will survive.  Instead, I recommend that you ask to know what you Soul’s design and desire is, then follow that.  It will require merging your identity-based will with your Spirit. This is the essence of trust. Source Consciousness becomes the determinant of what appears to be a career or calling, not something that you must struggle to invent or mimic from another in order to feel comfortable and secure.  We are being asked to literally embody these words: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?” –Jesus the Christ.

Coming into mastery is not a glamorous path strewn with accolades and applause.  Mastery is one part surrender (trust)  and one part courage (Will), and both come from your potent choice or intention.  The world at large may not like what you have to say, or how you do something.  Your associates and friends may become distressed about your views and pronouncements, and your family may reject you. If everyone approves of you or agrees with you, chances are you are not being very authentic or true to your Spirit. If the world approves of you, what then will be the quality of your truth? The salt will have lost its savour, and not season anything worthwhile.

On the other hand, those who are disenfranchised and disillusioned with the worldview that they have been sold may also seek your counsel and comfort.  Who you find walking alongside of you on your path may be either your truest friends, or the most determined adversary who is trying to distract or destabilize you.  Your enemy will be the test you have assigned to yourself.  The friends are there for you to lean on when you feel yourself faltering.

You, as a multi-dimensional master, are already in possession of all that you need. There is no other greater resource than that which is own Consciousness.  Too often the distractions crowd out the awareness of a greater Presence, but it is there…waiting for you to reclaim your Self in each moment.  Your choice to become the Source of your own illumination is always within your own heart. 

Over the past half century, many teachers and paths for approaching the spiritual side of things have appeared.  Many of the teachings have stood the test of time, and offered real choices for those who are tired of the status quo, the ‘life is a struggle’ belief system.  There have also been many blind alleys, dead ends, and in some cases severe disillusionment when a revered guru or ‘master’ is revealed to be very human indeed!  These experiences have a silver lining, for they continually emphasize that the time of external authorities of all kinds, whether secular or religious, is at an end. 

As it was written about Christ’s works;  "Then if any one says to you, 'Lo, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is,' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.  Lo, I have told you beforehand.   So, if they say to you,'Lo, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out; if they say, 'Lo, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.  For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man.” 

I feel that this passage in the Gospel of Matthew in the Bible, when treated symbolically, is actually referring to the lightning as a rising of kundalini…the quality of spiritual awakening that is occurring inside many souls who are already here. This is a global awakening, and it does require a great deal of discernment, personal stability and a sense of humor to navigate as gracefully as possible. Glamour is not enlightenment, and pedestals are unstable.  [Note: not sure how to interpret ‘elect’, but rather than viewing it as a sign of specialness, I recommend that it refers to anyone who hears the call of Source in their own hearts.]

2013 may indeed be a more pivotal year than 2012, or any year leading up to it. Can you read the signs of the times?  Can you dance in the quantum flux?  It is time to reveal ourselves fully, and claim our original design as innocent masters of Infinite Light and Eternal Love. We are the Light of the World, and that Light can no longer be refused, nor hidden.  Be prepared for the illumination to reveal the corruptions of the matrix, so that it can be healed and dissolved in the fires of transmutation.  Remember that none of us are completely alone in our journeys and tasks.  Being alone is part of being all one…it is part of the walk of sovereignty.  However, we are always surrounded and supported by Love that is expressed through many forms, both visible and invisible. We are companions on the way Home.

And, in the words of Captain Peter Quincy Taggert of the NSEA Protector, “Never give up, never surrender.”  The term ‘surrender’ is used here in the context of indomitable Divine Will and Love.
Of course, in order to experience that power, we must first surrender our personal agenda to the Will of Source.  Trust is a journey, not a destination.
