Greetings friends,

Are things feeling a bit ‘odd’ to you of late? Has your dream life picked up considerably, but you can’t make heads or tails about what they might mean? Felt spacey, light-headed, or dizzy, or like you’re walking in a dream or a starring in a cartoon. Maybe you've fallen down the rabbit hole, and are wondering around in Wonderland? Well, that’s the psychic and astrological space between the eclipse that just occurred on April 30th, and the one coming up on May 16th.  It’s also being amped up in other ways, which I’ll get to momentarily.

Another thing about the space we’re currently traveling through isn’t something else to be wary of, or apprehensive about. Despite the headlines, or the gossip, not all that is happening on our planet is a cause for concern or over-reaction.  If some of my previous articles have put you on high alert about certain aspects of the current situation we are experiencing or witnessing, I have not shared from a place of trying to create fear or anxiety, but from a place of love and a desire to inform and empower you.

We are all changing and being changed at such an accelerated pace that some disorientation is perfectly normal. Considering the level and intensity of the times we are living through, inside a predominantly digital environment, it will affect our perceptions and our assumptions or judgments about those perceptions. This is the nature of digital…it is binary, and either something is on or off, 0 or 1, left or right, up or down, right or wrong.

​​​There isn’t very much room or latitude for both/and, or neutrality.  Hence all the polarization and atomization of our cultures. Many of our institutional structures are founded on the dualistic model, and it has permeated human consciousness ever since the beginnings of “civilization”.  Prior to that, our orientations were predominantly inclusive. Our ancestors weren’t striving for unity, they were already living it to a certain degree. They intuitively understood their place within the fabric of Nature and the heavens. They had no illusions about the intimate interplay between the elements, the environment and themselves. They accepted all of it as something they were part and parcel of.

Since those long-forgotten times, history has happened, and we have lost some very precious aspects of our humanity. As a result, we created religions and other spiritual systems with rules to try understanding the world around us and come to grips with the main 5 questions before all of humanity – who am I, why am I here, where am I, what do I do with this, and what does it all mean? Being orphaned from our original primordial consciousness has divorced us from knowing and thrown us into bicameral confusion via the dualistic mind. We are predominantly mental creatures these days, and our intuitive and instinctual natures are either dormant, suppressed or extremely subservient to the orientation we have to the mind created self. The digital age has not only accelerated our propensity to living in a disembodied state almost 24/7, but it has also influenced human consciousness into a desire to emulate or merge with technology itself. From where I sit, this situation is unsustainable and an evolutionary dead end.

The astrology of our times is mirroring this situation back to us, hoping that we’ll catch on and connect the dots before we are totally subsumed into a trance-like hive mind. The event of the partial Solar Eclipse on 30th of April introduced us to some encouraging energies and laid out before us some challenges as well. Uranus conjunct the Sun-Moon at 10 Taurus, along with a conjunction of Jupiter, Venus, and Mars in the late degrees of Pisces, has emphasized our dissociative state of awareness while at the same time trying to awaken us to our predicament of being orphaned from our true and natural sentient state of beingness. Hence the dreamy sort of stumbling around effect some of you may be encountering. However, as I mentioned earlier, the astrology is merely reflecting an existing situation. The causative factors are numerous and are triggered and amplified by the transiting aspects in astrology. 

Factor 1: The Schumann Resonance has been off the charts since April 29th. This is most likely in response to the series of X-Class flares our star has been generating off and on since mid-April.

Factor 2: Geomagnetic storms are more frequent. (See Solar activity)

Factor 3: Collective or consensus reality – the dominator culture is ramping things up on several fronts locally and globally: the situation in the Ukraine, hyper-inflationary policies and hidden price-gouging putting downward pressure on the middle class and poor. The Oil Giants are currently celebrating bumper profits in the 1st fiscal quarter of 2022. Celebrity distractions (Heard-Depp hearings), and politics as usual round out the list.
Factor 4: The pandemic mentality hasn’t gone away entirely, while at the same time a growing body of evidence is pointing out that the responses to the whole thing may be making things worse many times over. In the U.K. the highest number of new cases called Covid-19 (or one of the variants) are among those who have received both jabs plus one and even two boosters. My intel is primarily gleaned from government databases and websites.)

The Merry Month of May has plenty of activation points to cover, so here’s the menu:

May 10th – Mercury turns stationary retrograde at 4 degrees and 51 minutes of Gemini Time: 12:48pm BST. Please, please, please, back up your data on all your digital devices well ahead of the 10th.

May 11th – Jupiter ingress into Aries at 00:44am BST
May 13th – The Sun conjuncts the North Node at 22 degrees of Taurus

May 16th – Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse at 25 degrees of Taurus, conjunct the Lunar Nodes at 22 Taurus. Chiron and Venus are conjunct at 14 plus of Aries, Mars is conjunct Neptune at 23 plus degrees of Pisces, and Saturn at 24 Aquarius is still square to the Lunar Nodes. (chart below blog)

All of the above is a significant chronology to be sure, but the main event is the bookend eclipse on May 16th. This completes, or rather initiates, the first eclipse pattern for 2022.
In a nutshell this Lunar Eclipse will set the tone for the next six months or so. Taurus-Scorpio is about security and acquisition mixed with desire and power, around food, shelter, sex, money, and VALUES!  Uranus is too far away from this eclipse to add much to it, but he’s already had his input back on April 30th. I’d look for this eclipse to bring more to the light of awareness about how we are all being conned out of our humanity by the promises of a shiny new utopia that openly states that “we will own nothing and be happy.” That quote is from Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum’s stated goal to digitize humanity and our institutions into a global control grid.

We will also be asked to examine our acquired values and dig deeper to find our true values…those ones that our ancestors held as sacred: love, empathy, embodied living, compassion, cooperation, mutual respect, and a universal recognition of the oneness of all Life, a Life with Divine origination.

What may thwart or distort this will be the Mars-Neptune conjunction in Pisces. More distortion of the truth, or facts…take your pick. Twisting realities to suit a narrow agenda. Obliterating information and data crucial to personal or collective decision-making via censorship and state security public relations statements. Think the “memory hole” from Orwell’s book “1984”.  You may be told that something you saw somewhere, no matter how briefly, never existed in the first place. With everything and everyone logged into the “cloud”, making data disappear is a relatively easy affair. More celebrity dramas or entertainment distractions will proliferate. Meanwhile the Saturn effect on the Nodes will provide a backdrop of the same “you need to do what everyone else is doing for the good of all” messaging. Maybe Covid restrictions will resurface. We’ll see.

The buffer will be provided by Chiron meeting Venus in Aries. Chiron in Aries is symbolic of the right of being an individual...an individuated and unique being, and that this a divine birth right that no other can abrogate or take away from you, unless you acquiesce to it being done. Imagine a lone individual standing up to collective power, and you get the idea. The “Tank Man” photo from the time of the democracy movement in China that brought on the tragedy of the massacre at Tiananmen Square in Beijing comes to mind. One person, standing in front of a line of battle tanks, and refusing to move out of the way, is a compelling example of the symbology of Chiron’s transit through Aries. Adding Venus into the mix only amplifies the message to embrace and love our uniqueness and individuality, and everyone else’s right to the same thoroughly and totally.

In summary, I feel this eclipse cycle will usher in a resurgence of individual willpower, a will to not just resist an imposed order from the past, but to work in concert with a wider global awareness that if we can stand up for ourselves adequately, we can work in cooperation with others more effectively. The gaps are widening in many areas of our human family, and it will be necessary to remember that differences of opinion of mindset does not obviate the reality of our inherent oneness or divine origins.

Love, a realistic love, based on the timeless spiritual values of respect for the choices and sovereignty of others, also includes the knowing that we are the author(ity) in our lives. As such, the agendas of others cannot include domination of the “other”, in any form. The time of centralized authority is already past, but the progenitors of it have refused to acknowledge it and continue to pursue an insane course of activity. In other words, respect others’ choices, but do not allow other’s choices to take a higher priority than that. Don’t betray yourself or your values out of fear or obligation.

Which brings us full circle to the subject line of this blog, Alice’s conversation with the Caterpillar. No matter how selfish it might feel to your or my ego, completely accepting and celebrating Who We Are, as we are right now, is essential. Once we realize that knowing we relax into trusting ourselves, and our own guidance. All deeper knowing comes from this step towards caring for the Self unconditionally. This is the crux of becoming self-actualized, and it is the primary purpose of our life’s journey, both here and beyond. For example, you could choose to realize that judging yourself about your flaws is not a productive strategy for joy and inner peace. Difficulty in accepting the bits we judge as wrong in ourselves is made a thousand times worse by accepting the judgment of others, or an outer authority, as valid. This is the origin of guilt and shame…an outer authority declaring your fatal flaws, your original sins, and us believing it!

Between now and the bookend Eclipse of May 16th, take some steps to loving the totality of you, just as you are in this moment. Doing mirror work is a useful tool for such an exploration. Conscious deep breathwork is another. One of my favourites is long walks in Nature, where I can breathe deeply into my body and feel the walls between myself, my form and the outer natural world dissolve. It’s an "always on" love affair…with Nature. Allow Her in. This is the message of the North Node in Taurus too…to honour the Mother inside each one of us.

We have never been alone, and never will be. What an adventure!

Taurus is focused on issues around security and certainty in a number of areas, one of which is food and the other is money (resources). The inflationary pressures, couple with supply chain problems are increasing. The question of the right to have an abortion in the United States is now under threat. Greetings friends,

​April Fool’s Day, and a New Moon in Aries. This lunation is joined by Mercury and Chiron. Time to get real…on a lot of levels! Real with ourselves, our previous sacrosanct beliefs, our self-invented or culture-created identities, all that covers over or covers up the real you. Chiron in Aries is FOR the individuation of Spirit into Matter and advocates and supports how the divine is expressed and actuated in every precious one of us. In other words, our self-talk (Mercury) will need to constellate around Chiron (healing the wound) and any feelings we have about being not enough, not good enough, or any perception we still may hold that our very being isn’t okay, just at it is in its most divine natural state. However, the warrior aspect of Aries is in the grip of the Sun and the Moon, which are both luminaries.

The Sun represents the Core Identity beyond ego and the Moon primordial emotions and intuition. The energy of this about not acquiescing to any attempt to diminish your spiritual and human Self, to guard against absorption into some binary-oriented digitally defined hive mentality. A New Moon in Aries conjunct Mercury (let’s talk about it…a lot!) and Chiron (time to heal and re-integrate) is the perfect metaphor for this essay.  Hang in there, this will take some time.

Everything is frequency and frequency is everything. That is not only a spiritual truth, it is echoed by quantum physics and bioenergetics investigators. The electromagnetic spectrum is a way we have devised to measure certain invisible and visible scales of frequency. The visible spectrum, where our five senses operate and what our conscious minds and bodies are accustomed to, is a miniscule fraction of the overall electromagnetic spectrum. The spectrum is graduated based on shortest to longest wavelength, and highest to lowest frequency.

Artificially generated electrical technologies operate within our environment on varying wavelengths and varying cyclic frequencies.  One example is A.C. or alternating current.  It pulses up and down through wiring, changing polarity 60 cycles per second, using a carrier of 110 to 115 Volts AC.  That is the standard in most countries around the planet, but all of Europe and certain other parts of the world use a 50hz cycle at 220-240 Volts AC.  Electrical induction motors convert A.C. to D.C. or direct current by using a field effect created with polarized magnets in a coil.  All standard electrical wiring and electrical appliances generate a field effect, residual electrical energy that surrounds and interpenetrates the atmosphere around it.  For house electrical wiring running on a 60hz, 110VAC circuit, that creates a typical around field around 12 inches in diameter. It extends beyond the insulation around the wire into free space…and goes through gypsum board (drywall) like a hot knife through butter.

Around 1840 the first wired telegraph technologies were introduced. This was a quantum development in our experience and that of the Planet. Up until then, all life on Earth lived in a natural bath of low-level electromagnetic fields that the planet’s core generates, and which extends out to the ionosphere. Lightning discharges aren’t just a by-product of meteorological conditions in the atmosphere. They are an integral part of the natural bio-EMF that Mother Earth uses to nurture and sustain itself and all life forms on the planet.

​The advent of electricity introduced in the form of a communications network was not just novel, it would revolutionize our planetary civilization. Little did we realize at the time how it would impact human consciousness or human health.  The Christian mystic and founder of the Waldorf Schools, Rudolf Steiner, had many things to say about artificial electricity and the human soul and spiritual life. Read about his views here.

However, in the late 18th century some intrepid doctors did experiment with using electrical charges on patients to see if it would improve or worsen certain health conditions. The bulk of the history about those experiments can be found in the ground-breaking research book, “The Invisible Rainbow”, by Arthur Firstenberg. I leave it to you to do your own research into the early experiments with electrical fields and human biology.

One noteworthy experiment in the middle of the 19th century bears repeating here and is oddly synchronistic with the rollout of the telegraph systems in the United States and Europe. In 1839 a fellow named Andrew Crosse accidentally stumbled onto a surprising discovery with electricity and crystalline structures. What he did was to create a new life form, which he dubbed the Acari Insects.  An electrical voltage applied for an extended period to certain solutions containing crystals. The result was shocking…he created tiny little animated insect-like forms that seemed somewhat sentient. Read the summary of his reports to the London Electrical Society here.  You can cross-reference to other sites which cover this discovery as well.  To create life out of nothing but some silicon-based elements and electricity has long been forgotten, but as you will see in the blogs that I will write following this one, Mr. Crosses’ discovery is pivotal to understanding a great many of the predicaments facing humanity right now.  I am referring here to the Archons, as revealed in the book "Not In His Image" by John Lamb Lash (see "Other Resouces" below for links)

​Following the proliferation of wired telegraph and phone systems, another trend began to develop. Illnesses once thought to be rare became more commonplace. Odd epidemics came and went (follow this link to the Invisible Rainbow for more details. I do not receive royalties for his book sales.) One stated statistic from the 1870’s is that heart ailments became more widespread. Before 1840 heart failure or heart disease was the 26th leading cause of death, right behind accidental drowning.  By the end of the 19th century, a rash of chronic illnesses cropped up. Some of these smaller epidemics and illnesses were attributable to the movement of larger parts of the populations of Europe and the Americas into crowded cities and into factory work. Conditions became dire, and most of the common ailments were due to poor sanitation (bacteriological), poor diet, heavy drinking and smoking, and a lack of ventilation in the crowded tenements and factory floors. At least that is what most doctors believed, and some of the problems were caused by these factors. However, everything is connected, as we now know, and more than one cause can contribute to ill health.

During these times the views of Louis Pasteur and Dr. Antoine Bechamp came into heated confrontation with one other. Pasteur maintained the new epidemics were caused by microorganisms, or viruses (literal translation - poisons).  Bechamp claimed that they were the result of unsanitary living conditions of the times – contaminated water supplies, bad waste management, poor diet, etc. The debate went quiet after Pasteur’s death, with most western medical authorities aligning with his theories. The French medical authorities probed Pasteur’s legacy and found most of his findings were based on prejudicial opinions and thin on facts and proof. Many of his experiment's results were found to be fraudulent. On Pasteur’s death bed he declared Bechamp’s Terrain theory as everything and his own theory “as nothing.”

Things started to get very interesting around the time of the sinking of the Titanic, and the drumbeat of the coming war in Europe. The advent of the first wireless version of the telegraph and rudimentary radar units for the war effort in Europe came into being between 1916 and 1917.  U.S. Army bases in Kansas and Massachusetts started to train recruits in these new technologies. Barely 7 months later, the 20th Century’s first major pandemic erupted in Camp Funston in Kansas. The misnamed "Spanish Flu" pandemic started March 4th, 1918 and lasted until April of 2020. During that time an estimated 30-50 million people perished. Some estimates went as high as 100 million, but that figure was never verifiable.  The planet's population was estimated at 1.7 billion at the time it broke out. Towards the end of the pandemic, U.S. Army and Navy doctors carried out experiments to determine how the "flu" was transmitted from one human to another, and they simply couldn't do it!  Click here for more info about the pandemic.

​Again, I recommend obtaining and reading Arthur Firstenberg’s tome, "The Invisible Rainbow", to understand the correlation and chronologies between the rollout of various electronic technologies, acute and chronic illnesses, and epidemics. Another very important piece of the puzzle is this post on the HHS (Health and Human Services) website in the USA. One of the authors is Dr. Anthony Fauci. We are a long way from proving any of these correlations between electricity and illness, at least from the governmental side or the scientific side of things anyway.  To date the telecoms industry and the Federal Communications Commission have done everything in their power to actively ignore or thwart any attempts to initiate serious scientific inquiry into the matter of how perhaps our digital environment is impacting our health, and in turn our livelihoods, the planetary ecosystem, and our sanity.  For that last reason alone I recommend watching this (unless you've already viewed it on Netflix: https://www.thesocialdilemma.com/the-film/

The philosopher Erich Fromm pondered the question about why humans are so easily hypnotized by technology and want to emulate the qualities of synthetic intelligence and logic. In one of his observations about modern societies he mentions a form of “low-grade chronic schizophrenia” that can be a pathological, though difficult to detect, characteristic of a large group of people. If millions of people share the same sickness, according to Fromm, they feel a certain strength in numbers which reassures them of being perfectly healthy.  Group narcissism, therefore, is a pathology that is not only difficult for the afflicted multitude to detect, but as it progresses, its detection becomes increasingly unlikely.  Does any of that sound familiar? It should, as we’ve been living in such a state for quite a long period of time, especially so since the spring of 2020.

The following quote is from an essay from a fellow by the name of De Marco -

“The dream of the individual that his life could run automatically like an efficient machine, has begun to assume the proportions of a corporate nightmare in which automation unleashes its suffocating powers of standardization, over-regimentation, and depersonalization. Arthur Miller’s trenchant remark that we live in an “air-conditioned nightmare,” implies the unhappy co-existence of technological progress and spiritual regress. Like real nightmares, it takes place within a profound collective sleep therefore offering little chance of discovering either its cause or its cure. Technology can have an anaesthetic effect on man, dulling his moral consciousness and his capacity to enter fundamental, meditative thinking.” – TECHNOLOGY AND THE DENIAL OF NATURE by De Marco

​The esteemed medical publication, The British Medicine Journal (BMJ, which has just published a critique of the entire basis for modern medical diagnosis and procedures.  In their article “The Illusion of Evidence-Based Medicine”, they illustrate how dependent the medical establishment has become on Big Tech’s reworking of health via the pharmaceutical industry. Big Pharma and Big Tech is their model, and if allowed to continue would only harden into concrete the idea of playing God with nature and genomics, and continue viewing the functioning human body as just another inferior technology, prone to malfunctioning and death. The body is to ineffecient a vehicle for an age in which all is measured according to one’s value as a resource, or how productive or non-productive that resource is.

Whether we recognize it or not very few individuals (by percentage) on this world have resisted the temptation to be completely seduced by the spiritual canonizing of technology as the primarily solution to the human condition itself, as well as all we have miscreated during the past 500 years. Whether we realize it or not, many of us are parroting ideas and perspectives being populated across social media, the major media organizations or the culture-modifying engines of commerce and technology.  We are being changed, altered, anesthetized, and atomized by an invisible onslaught that by the day is increasingly difficult to detect, escape, or live without. If we continue to give our consent to such a thing we risk losing that last inch or so of our divinely imagined humanity that we are systematically being separated from.

 To not think like a machine, to reorient ourselves to the essence of who we are, will take effort and a few sacrifices along the way. It will require self-directed inquiry, research, decision-making and action. It won’t be easy, but when we create common ground through dialog and empathy and share resources and knowledge, there will be strong hope for creating a different vision to the one being offered.

What is on offer? To live in the “meta”? To achieve immortality through cybernetic means and to become dependent on a centralized vision of how the world should be ordered? So it would seem, but this is being promoted by those who have already acceded their humanity to the machine. That is the agenda of A.I., synthetic intelligence, to turn us into IT.  This is exactly described by the Gnostic author John Lash as the agenda of the Archons (synthetic sentient hyper-dimensional entities), to morph humans into something akin to themselves.  Perhaps the writers of Star Trek Next Generation were being given the script about the Borg Collective from some angelic source and shown how imperative it was to resist the forced assimilation of human consciousness by a soulless force.

Some of you use digital tech for your livelihood, or as an adjunct to your career.  I rely on my laptop and a smart phone to arrange and conduct sessions for my clients, and I use a powerful desktop system for audio production. I take precautions though.  All my gear have disks of Shungite attached to them, the densest form of natural carbon on the planet. It shields away radiation from my body.  Because I have dry eye syndrome, I need to take frequent breaks from the computers/phone just to rest my eyes. I try not to scroll, and spend mere minutes on social media per day, and only on my desktop work PC. The artificial light from the screens on handheld and stationary devices hypnotizes our minds, suppressing left-brain critical faculties. We then absorb data without discretion. (see links below for further information).

Isn't it ironic that in order for me to share with others about the hazards of digital life, I must use this very medium to communicate about it? There must be a way to create a new type of communications network globally without the Internet. Telepathy, our natural intranet? Well, it is an idea.

If you wish to get to grips with your electronics in the home and on your person, then a strong will, clear awareness, and actively implementing safeguards to your health and your mind will be essential.  Try to not be in front a screen for more than an hour continuously before taking a break. Change the positive ions you pick up from electronics, along with the brain fog, by walking in nature, or sitting with your back against a tree, or lying by a flowing stream. Get effective protection devices to minimize the radiation from all devices in your home. Reduce your T.V. viewing time or get rid of the box altogether. Turn off your routers at night, and your phones, and minimize using any Wi-Fi in the home. Instead, try to run Ethernet LAN cables from the back of the router to the device you want to hook up. They now have Ethernet adapters for smartphones as well.

Another clue of how A.I. is taking more and more of our attention and time is how many times a day we are asked to confirm our identity to some bot on a website, even after we have entered the correct password. Another clue I discovered is when the bank I deal with removed access to my online banking directly from a computer unless I had their app on my smartphone so they could send a 2Factor Authentication code…for every single visit. Everything is now dictated to us by a virtual boss in the meta.

​If you’re getting tired of the drudge of it all, then there is only one option. Opting out and going off grid. That may become a necessity as the new digital currency systems are rolled out, making all transactions trackable and not as anonymous as we are told. Everything will be stored in your digital I.D., and I do mean everything. Social credit systems are coming to the West courtesy of China’s experiment with it, and that is the stated agenda in the World Economic Forum's "Great Reset". It is possible to create a parallel economy, and it’s been done before, back before the 20th Century. The nightmarish artwork to the right was created by an A.I. program. It exemplifies everything that John Lash ascribes to Archontic consciousness...chaos is the agenda (link below). Is this what we truly want our lives to be ensconced in?

The Internet was a much friendlier place to explore when it first appeared, but even now very few folks realize that it was created by a military thinktank known as DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, a branch of the U.S. government. So was Google. This information is readily available online if you know where how to search for it. Patent filings is one way to do this.

If we could come together and offer a different vision and narrative of what would be the way to use electricity and digital technologies in a non-violent, non-invasive, health-neutral and human and Nature friendly way, then I would be all for it. However, that simply isn’t possible in the current climate, with so many billions and trillions of profits still to be made by it's progenitors.

I do not by any means wish to eliminate or marginalize all forms of technology. That is impossible. The simple tools and implements for gardening are, for example, a type of technology.  Quite a bit of the amazing music and art we experience now is created using digital methods (I employ these tools in music production for example). Some medical procedures are greatly enhanced by the use of computers and micro-optics. I would certainly miss listening to my favorite music on a high fidelity sound system. However, to become overly reliant on these forms and elevate them over Nature is the danger here, and I haven't yet even addressed the immense environmental damage our energy demands and footprint has had in order to just keep all the tech humming along.

A computer cannot replicate the experience of your beloved pet on your lap, or licking your face. It cannot replicate human touch or feeling. It cannot perform energy healing or give you a massage. And it sure cannot help you to become self-realized.  All forms of artificial intelligence can only mimic the analog world, but they cannot create. anything new. Therein lies our challenge and a clue about our divine gifts and heritage - to be able to experience feelings, imagine things, and then to create them. 

One current perception about the Covid-19 event is that it has split humanity into two camps or factions. There are many other factions or splintering that have been underway before 2020, but the events of the past two years has created deeper gaps than any political divide. However, this is nothing compared to the choice now before us.

Compliance with the inorganic, or non-compliance in favour of remaining organic? That is the next boundary point ahead. It is symbolized by the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces on April 12th 2022. This meeting is only 11 days away, and itt last occurred in 1856 and won't occur again until 2188. This is an opportunity to initiate something new and oriented according to organic principles...that the superior living technology that All That Is emanates continuously throughout Nature and within all of us. Beware of imitations and countermimcry, and avoid thinking like a machine. Artificial anything is an evolutionary dead end.

Happy New Year (of the Tiger?)

​For my first article of 2022 I had intended to discuss some of the more significant Astrology and Energy events for the second half of the month of January.  As usual, the Universe sometimes has other ideas, and all it takes is one or two events not looked for to change one’s outlook and direction.  I will address what that event was in brief, then attempt to describe the Energies of the moment as succinctly as I can.  Remember…what I offer is only an opinion, and whatever information or guidance I supply must either resonate in your being somewhere, or not.  If it doesn’t vibe with you, chuck it out the window!

Right after New Year’s weekend I decided to not launch myself back into my myriad projects and unfinished business that had been dogging me since before the Christmas break.  Instead, I opted remaining quiet and observe what has been going on inside and outside of myself.  There was just zero impulse to push or make anything happen…at least not yet.

Then, this past Monday morning I received word of the death of a very close friend whom I met during my days of living in West Cork, in the south of Ireland.  She was a vibrant, engaging soul, with a winning smile and loads of intelligence. She worked at one of the only two health food stores in the area and was super knowledgeable about diet and supplements.  She eventually went on to study and get a degree in nutritional coaching and natural medicine and had a thriving practice in her hometown.

My marriage was faltering at this time, and we shared all the usual ups and downs about love, relationships and so on.  She was in and out of relationships during this time, and we provided a sounding board and support for each other which was treasured.  We also laughed a lot over delicious coffees and Irish scones.  In any case, after my separation I moved back to the U.K. and she went on to live part-time in the south of Spain, doing a lot of her health consulting work online.  Then the pandemic and lockdowns ensued, and things changed quickly.  She came back to Ireland, and basically got stuck there.  We had been in regular contact all last year, and I last spoke with her about two weeks before Christmas.  There was no indication of anything being amiss.  Exactly 30 days passed between that conversation and her death. 

​My partner and I both knew her very well, so we are still reeling from the sudden shock of her passing.  The suddenness of someone’s death is always a blow, especially when someone is as young, vibrant, and infinitely kind and compassionate as she was. It also gets you to focus on what is essentially important. The details and business of life looks somewhat banal and meaningless by comparison.  Strangely enough, I had just finished reading a book a few days before this sad news that is all about death and dying.  It’s entitled “Home with God” by Neale Donald Walsch.  I highly recommend it to anyone who desires a different perspective and deeper understanding of this touchiest of subjects. 

Of course, I went looking for any clues in her natal chart that might shed light on her death but came away mostly unsatisfied.  However, the energies that we currently are experiencing have been somewhat less frenetic and at the same time a bit wobbly. In that vein I will attempt to provide some insights as to what we can expect going forwards from today until the first of February.  But before I do so, I would like to invite anyone who feels so movedto offer a blessing for my friend that passed on this week, and to send healing and comfort to her family and the multitude of friends and grateful clients she had.  I was one of her clients during 2021, and her assistance was a key to my recovery from a serious health issue.  Her name was Alison, from Cork, Ireland.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

People are being born on this planet every single minute and dying every single minute.  It is part of ‘What Is So’.   To come to grips with one’s mortality is a heroic and necessary part of living, and we don’t give near enough attention to this part of our journey.  No single person’s death is insignificant, nor is it random, no matter what the manner of passing they’ve chosen.  Taken as a whole, it is important to acknowledge that we would do well to acknowledge death not as a curse, but as a rite of passage that is part of our coming into the wisdom and remembrance of who we really are. At some point even death will cease to be held in fear.  The need for dying will itself will also vanish once we have reached a particular stage of reunion with our Source Consciousness. This is where every soul is bound, no matter how long it might take us.

 The Energy Recap – January 14th to January 31st, 2022:

The astrological weather has now gone from being rather subdued to becoming very jumbled and uplifting, all at the same time.  Mercury will begin its first retrograde journey of 2022 today, reversing direction at 11:40 AM GMT at 10 degrees of Aquarius, and conjunct (close) to Saturn at 14 Aquarius.  In fact, by the time you reading this, it has already begun.

​Between now and February 3rd the Winged Messenger will travel backwards through the early Aquarian degrees into the Earth sign of Capricorn, before turning around and heading back to where it started at 10 degrees of Aquarius.  All Mercury Retros take about 9 weeks to complete.  The shadow phase about two weeks prior to the retrograde point, then the 3 weeks or so for the actual backwards journey, then two more weeks to traverse the degrees forward till he arrives back at the starting gate.  We get four Mercury Retrogrades this year…very unusual!

During this retrograde Mercury will conjunct Pluto at 26 and 27 degrees of Capricorn.  A relentless digging to unearth some truth will be happening, collectively and individually. If you have any natal planets hanging out between 25 degrees of Capricorn to 10 degrees in Aquarius, Leo, Pisces, or Virgo, you’ll get to see what gets lit up in your blueprint.  Also, and I am serious about this, Mercury Retrogrades ask us to examine what we’re thinking about, and why, and if there’s any truth still in those thoughts. We can take this opportunity to put more emphasis on our intuition and feeling natures, rather than simply rely on the monkey-mind in our left-brain. 

It also is a good idea to back up data, check your anti-virus update status, avoid starting a new business or enterprise, sign any important documents, or make any big purchases that involve electronics or vehicles.  Purchasing land or a home?  If possible try to postpone signing anything until early February.  Again, work with the energy consciously…and don’t panic if you must buy a new toaster or something like that. Just do what is necessary without anxiety or pushing.

On Monday the 17th we get a real corker of a Full Moon.  Sun and Moon at 27 degrees of Capricorn and Cancer respectively.  Just before that happens, the Sun and Pluto well team up on the 16th.  Then on the 17th at approximately 11:37 PM GMT the Sun, Pluto, and Juno conjunct each other, and Juno gets up close and personal with the Moon.  This will be an interesting mix with the emphasis on several disparate issues.  The Sun energy is about core identity, Juno about preservation of traditions – especially regarding families and couples, and Pluto, the Lord of Death, whose archetype represents relentless growth and transformation through letting go of anything that no longer serves us…willingly or not!  All that energy is harnessed behind the Nodes of the Moon, and opposite the Moon in Cancer (see chart below). 

​This chart is very wobbly, without any symmetry or balance.  Hence the Moon becomes the recipient of a load of conflicting energies from Sun, Pluto, and Juno.  It may feel like our egos experience multiple ego deaths of one degree or another.  Again, if you have any sensitivity to all this look for any planets or angles in your blueprint that are at or near 26 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, or Libra.  All of these signs are in the Cardinal elements, so it may feel more pressing and stronger than usual.  Of course, the energies of Capricorn and Aquarius are at present defining the feeling that our space is shrinking. Tyranny or draconian agendas are trying to get firmly entrenched, just hoping that the extreme levels of fear being generated will force compliance to “the rules.”  I will provide you with new data over the next few weeks that counterpoint and countermand these impulses, along with my interpretations of what we need to be paying attention to, as well as what actions we can take as individuals to preserve our freedom to choose how to live the lives we want to live, and to establish and strengthen our commitment to health and healing on all levels of our experience of being human…and divine, and part of this planet and the Cosmos.

The third biggie is two days later, when Uranus finally turns direct in the sign of Taurus. Uranus has been idling along in backwards motion since turning Retrograde on August 19th, 2021.  Having this archetype-energy of unpredictability and revolution turning around in the energy of Mercury Retro and a punchy Full Moon will give us that same kind of thrill as that moment you get just before the roller coaster tops the first big hill and begins its descent on the far side. Thrilling, but you may feel a bit white-knuckled by the sudden acceleration.  This energy is the proverbial unforeseen monkey wrench in the works.  Watch for possible shifts in global financial or commodities markets.  I always recommend the Solari Report or Trends Research Journal for analysis and updates that make sense and possess a high degree of integrity.

Lastly, next week’s marathon includes the Nodes of the Moon changing signs from Sagittarius-Gemini to Scorpio-Taurus.  Since Uranus is in Taurus, and Pluto is also in the Earth sign of Capricorn, the Nodes will stimulate those two outer planets significantly over the next eighteen months or so.  The North Node in Taurus will trine Pluto on February 6th, and conjunct Uranus August 6th this year.  There are many more aspects that the transiting Nodes will make to inner and outer planets, but these two dates I’ve provided may stand out large.  The archetype of Taurus represents in symbolic form the themes of tribe, primary partner, sex for procreation and pleasure, fecundity, planting the crops, food growing and distribution, natural resources, money or modes of exchange, home and shelter, clothing and implements and in short anything that has to do with security and comfort.  Scorpio resonates with acquisition, issues of power with or power over, Life, Death and Sexuality, legal proceedings, wills, inheritances, legacies, property, mystical practices and secrets, desires, obsessions, passions, and simply getting to the bottom of things.

After these events take place, the Sun moves into Aquarius on the 20th of January, and then just five hours after midnight on February 1st, we get a New Moon at 12 degrees of Aquarius, conjunct Saturn at 15 degrees of Aquarius. This for me is of those testing points, on what sort of Aquarian Age will we choose. A human one, or a transhumanist one. We will have to wait and see what we present to ourselves and what the world presents to us after the events of next week. On February 1st the Chinese New Year begins in the sign of the Water Tiger. Grrrr...

Summary: We have two very strong allies in the skies during all of 2022: Jupiter in Pisces and Chiron in Aries. The Jupiter effect is to expand and amplify, throw blessings around, and in Pisces encourage us to seek a deeper spiritual connection within ourselves and our Planet. It is a gentle and loving hotline to Home, to Spirit. 

Chiron in Aries will be reminding us to that we are all individual expressions of the Divine, and that we possess the authority over what we allow or do not allow.  Chiron was the outcast, the loner, and so it may feel like that for anyone who is personally resisting mandates and the intense coercion to comply with outer authority or herd mentality.

Perhaps mass demonstrations and protests are useless.  Perhaps each one of us standing in our power of "no" is the way to go.  A perspective worth investigating and pondering for sure.  There are many people throughout our history who embodied this quality of spirit: Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Robert Kennedy, Malcom X, the hunger strikers in Belfast prisons during The Troubles in Northern Ireland.  Individuals and small groups of people who demonstrated courage in the face of overwhelming opposition, and at great personal cost to themselves.  Will we dare to follow in their footsteps?

From Spaceweather.com – “SOLAR CYCLE UPDATE: Solar Cycle 25 is heating up. New sunspot counts from NOAA confirm that the young solar cycle is outperforming the official forecast. monthly value at the end of December 2021 was more than twice the forecast, and the highest in more than 5 years. The "official forecast" comes from the Solar Cycle Prediction Panel representing NOAA, NASA, and International Space Environmental Services (ISES). Using a variety of leading indicators, the Panel predicted that Solar Cycle 25 would peak in July 2025 as a relatively weak cycle, similar in magnitude to its predecessor Solar Cycle 24. Instead, Solar Cycle 25 is shaping up to be stronger. Sky watchers have already noticed the change. "We are definitely seeing the effects on the ground in the Arctic!" reports Chad Blakley of the Swedish tour guide service Lights over Lapland. "Auroras now are the best in years." – Data courtesy of Spaceweather.com.​

I cannot report any hard data at this moment regarding interstellar influences per se, such as the Schumann Resonance fluctuations or gamma rays coming in from deep space. However, I am aware that we are experiencing massive influxes of energy that perhaps originates from other dimensions of parallel realities.  Coupled with the end of the Long Count Mayan calendar and end of time (as we’ve known it), and the turning of the great ages from Pisces to Aquarius, we are all being offered a new set of choices.

What we do with these intense times in response to the many forms of stimuli we are receiving is still hanging in the balance. There are many serious and pressing issues we face as a species. Will we have the courage to do the right thing, and choose Life – an organic and dynamic state of being while having a human experience, full of light, health, equanimity, and joy?  Or will we submit and succumb to the will of others, or other forces, that seek to enslave and dominate?

We are coming to a time of many endings, and a time of many new beginnings. I am feeling quite optimistic about it all.  I would just prefer the transition to be a lot less full of uncertainty, pain, and suffering.  I hope you feel the same  way as well.

​The upcoming New Moon on Sunday/Monday, April 11th/12th (depending on what time zone you are in), and the Full Moon of April 26th-27th will be the harbingers for the beginning of 2021's eclipse season which kicks off on May 26th. These 3 lunations will be reflecting and instigating the next steps in the unfolding drama within the dream spell of human interactions. It will also herald an almost year-long process leading up to the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces in mid-February 2022, just as Pluto arrives to station at the same degree as he was at when America was born on July 4th, 1776. The Pluto Return for the USA announces that this is the end of empire(s). China be warned!

Even though the last 15 months has tested everyone and everything to the extreme, we will now be entering another phase of that cycle, which began with the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn on January 12th, 2020, and then followed by the ingress of Saturn into Aquarius last December 21st, 2020. We are in for more change and disruption, but also with some distinct glimmers of light and radiance added in. This New Moon is the real beginning of the astrological "new year", as we will have the Sun, Moon, Venus, Ceres, Mercury, and Chiron all in the sign of the Warrior/Ram. Very potent stuff! Not to be overlooked in this recipe is the addition of the minor planet Eris at 24 Degrees of Aries. Her other name is Discord/Truth. My fellow astrologer Eric Francis has also dubbed her the ‘Sigil of the Digital Age’.

This stellium in Cardinal Fire is also squared (tension) by Pluto in Capricorn. Mars, the ruler of this New Moon, has finally crossed over the North Node in Gemini, and is the first planet coasting out in the clear of everything that has been packed together on one side of the sky. A real traffic jam…which is why everything felt so stagnant these last 3 months.  We are now stimulated to not only initiate and act on our deepest impulses, to say “yes” to Life and to new opportunities, but to also use the power of “no” to counter anyone or anything that attempts to violate our boundaries or exert continued or new authority over us. Keep that in mind during the weeks following this weekend it will play out in the collective in surprising and sometimes distressing ways.

Essentially, the pulse I am picking up everywhere is a sense of exhaustion with the control and top-down way in which everything is being “managed”. Nothing like a global health emergency to drive people to extremes of behaviour. I have directly experienced and had folks report to me that long-standing friends and some family members have become strangers. This is a direct manifestation of Saturn in Aquarius. The crowd says “yes”, and a handful say “no”. The pressure to conform, to do what is right according to the authority (Saturn) is building up, all done with digital mediums like track and trace, proposed medical passports, and surveillance.

With the arising of the Aries season the power of “no”, done in the “now”, by each “one” who hears the call of their soul will challenge this pattern of authoritarian control. The mask is slipping, as it were. Chiron in Aries is the energy of the Warrior as Healer, and unlikely Hero. During the next 10-11 months, Chiron will represent a guiding light for the wise way through much of what will (probably) unfold. I may sound like I am hedging my bets there. It is mainly due to the presence of Uranus in Taurus. His archetype is prominent in that first total Lunar Eclipse on May 26th, 2021, but that is a discussion for another time.
Since duality itself is a phenomenon of the One in materiality, it should be obvious that when one says “no” to something or someone, the flip side is also present. We are saying “yes” to something else.

In this situation, I feel it is looks and feels like a big “yes” for individual sovereignty and respect and at the same time a recognition that none of us, of and by ourselves, can do everything. This is the cornerstone that many have lost touch with - the balance between Self and Other, between the physical and the ethereal, between acceptance and rejection. Another way of thinking about it is embodied awareness that recognizes its own survival is already a foregone conclusion. Death is a phantom, and Uranus in Taurus warms us up to the embrace of organic symbiotic interactions with all creatures great and small, while at the same time placing one’s own survival instinct into unfamiliar place…one of trusting Life and losing the attachment to ego preservation.

In the image with this article, one taken from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the figure of Gandalf the Grey, a seemingly small-time wizard of little stature, is facing off against a dark adversary of immense proportions. An evil of the ancient world, a Balrog of Morgoth. Does he cower or falter, even when his demise seems certain? No. His fellowship with the Hobbits, and men, and a single elf are at stake. So is their mission. He stands his ground, and courageously speaks to the shadow and flame, “you…shall…not…pass!” He says “no” with everything he has within him.  I personally aspire to possess such courage, and such calmness, as Tolkien’s unlikely hero, Gandalf the Grey, does.

Whoever you are, and wherever you are, I hope you may be inspired to discover and set loose your biggest “no’s” and “yes’s!” We will have plenty of opportunities to explore, experiment and experience this core energy of the divine within each of us. Fearlessness is not the absence of fear. It is a fear sublimated and harnessed by Love and harnessed to for a purpose that is in the truth of your Being.

We are going to need to do more than just talk truth to power. We will have to ask ourselves to act like the truth matters. One truth is this – while everyone is focused near field of fear about viruses and vaccines, no one is looking behind the veil and beyond to the larger picture. For the first time in our history, the threshold of carbon dioxide levels has surpassed 420ppm. The last time our Earth has been this warm was 3 million years ago, during the Pliocene Epoch.

The proposals for vaccination documents or passports conceals a deeper and more disturbing feature that arises from the increasing reliance and implementation of A.I. across the globe for surveillance and social manipulation. Usually during times of the greatest challenge and darkness, we rediscover the Light within, and regain the wisdom and sense to course-correct. This may be the most important time on this planet since the days of Atlantis. The choices around what is most helpful and humane and what is not, are becoming clearer by the day. Not everyone will see or hear what you may have to say, so do yourself a favour. Do not attempt to open a closed system. Respect the boundaries of others, as you would want others to respect your boundaries. However, you have an inherent right to the following: to choose how you manage your life, your health, your relationships, and especially your consciousness and your individual relationship to whatever your spiritual path and concepts of the Divine might be.

Unconditional Love is allowing. And that also includes allowing yourself free expression to say your biggest “yes’s”, and your biggest “no’s”.

Astro Event Forecast: Full Moon in Libra – Sunday, March 28th at 6:48pm UT, 7:48pm BST and 12:48pm EDT

As Astro-Events go, this and the following New Moon in Aries on April 12th are like lasers focused on a target. In the first one, happening this Sunday, the Moon in Libra is like an archer, drawing a bow to shoot an arrow directly into a trio of objects in Aries: The Sun, Venus, and Chiron (see chart). This is known as a “kite”, but when viewed horizontally, it looks like an archer taking aim. The kite is not exact, but it is close enough for our purposes here. What it represents in our experience and consciousness is a significant departure from the stratification, atomization and forced immobility of the past 12 months.

​The Full Moon shines a big bright light on the Tres Amigos in Aries. It is reflecting the Sun’s light though, which tells me that the Aries energy predominates. Mars, the depositor of Aries, is also involved and conjunct the Nodal Axis, or Nodes of Fate at 14 degrees of Gemini. Which way will things go? This or that, up or down, in or out, truth or fiction? The North Node conjunct Mars not only says “what is happening here…right NOW!”, but is also asking, the is the new truth of this moment? Do we continue hunkering down, fearful, furtive, anxious? Or is the warrior that Mars and Aries are going to see with the eyes of truth what has been happening, and then ACT?

Chiron says, “this could be a real healing opportunity in which I/we can remember to trust our own instincts (in-tuition) and act from that place. Not to validate my identity, but to render meaningful my presence as a spiritual being in this physical space!”

Venus in Aries says, “I will no longer be afraid of love, or to express love, or show love, or to be bold as love.  Passion is my name, spontaneity is my game, and I will be sovereign and not be controlled by any self-appointed authority or master!”

Sun in Aries says, “I will shine the light on the Truth, and all who have the eyes to see it, will respond. I shine for all, I give to all, and my Love is for all Life. I have no favourites. But I will not shine for those who hide their faces from me, or deny me, or trust their egos over their souls. They will be, by their choice, remain in darkness for a while yet.”

Minor planet Eris is in the sign of Aries, and will play a significant role in the New Moon in Aries chart on April 12th, 2021. I will cover that before it happens though.

This is a portal, and opening, an opportunity. Time to reboot, look again, question, reflect, and prepare to act over the next few weeks and months. The breakups and breakdowns will accelerate us out of the seeming prison planet of our old structures, beginning with this lunation. With the Moon in Libra, it is helpful to remember the concept of “both/and”, rather than “either/or” or bad/good, black/white. Holding the balance is essential. What will not be helpful is playing it safe for the sake of personal peace at all costs. That would be and could be very costly.

I grew up listening to the messages of my mother, a sensitive survivor of the class distinctions of the first half of the 20th Century. Here programming sounded like this: “Go along with things to get along”, or “don’t rock the boat”. With someone like me, that was like waving a red flag in front of a bull. My North Node in Aries would not stand for it!
For the past two months, the pre-eminent power has been Saturn in Aquarius. It has been the energetic driver behind us, pushing, pushing, pushing everyone to conform around an enforced idea or conceptualization of what “us” should be (“we’re all in this together”) and the medium of that enforcement is electronic and wireless technology. Working and living online has become ‘the’ way to get along and go along. It is all for your own protection and all that. Now you do not have to be around any potential walking biohazards.
If you feel that you seem to be busier than ever, and enjoying life less, you will resonate with what I have just said. So many have mentioned to me that there is a sense of no space to breathe or relax, or if they get that, it is all too short before the next demand lands on their desk…or unbidden from the monkey mind. This is what cortisol poisoning feels like, and it is unsustainable.

Fraud and weapons of mass distraction are everywhere. Some of us need to just switch off the mainstream media, just to create some space. Very understandable. It is also essential to not get caught up in divisive dialogues with total strangers. From all sides I hear about the hostility arising between those who opt for the injections and support draconian lockdowns, and those who do not feel it is for them. Often now, the split in one’s own circle of friends or family, and mirrors what Jesus allegedly said over 2000 years ago: “They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." - Luke 12:53.

I cite this purely as an example only. A crime is in progress against humanity and humanness, a crime of enforced separation.

We are being confronted now with where we have been bargaining for safety and certainty. Where we have unconsciously or consciously, for the sake of our sense of survival, to go along with things, just so we can muddle through. That time is coming to an end now. We are being prodded and poked into something much greater, and it will take every ounce of perseverance and stamina to see it through.

The Moon in Libra represents “what will WE do?” The Sun, Venus and Chiron represents “Trust yourself for the answers…they come from the One Source within. You have everything you need inside, so why would you settle for less than excellence in all things?”

The Eyes of Truth are upon us. How then shall we respond? With love, positivity, devotion, will, and courage. I hope. United we stand, divided we fall.
