![]() by Isaac George, Feb 19 2021 Planetary Weather: Mercury Stations Direct at 11 degrees of Aquarius, at the Jupiter-Saturn midpoint, on Feb 21st, 2021 (GMT). Full Moon in Virgo on February 27th, with Sun and Venus conjunct in Pisces. There are many effects or influences occurring that we can observe in the world now. The pre-eminent emotional resonance is still rooted in fear, paranoia, or depression. The other main ones are confusion, dissension, and further atomization of people within societies around the globe. By atomization I mean that human interaction is now mostly reduced to online interactions, via Zoom, YouTube, social media, chat rooms, and the comments areas on many online news platforms. The sense of estrangement and dislocation is further exacerbated by the hyper-normalisation of living an ever-more disembodied existence, focused in the area above the eyebrows. The human mind is not just a sensory-based bio "computer". It is a living and molecular location of one node of our mind, or extra-sensory awareness. You can call this the spirit or "soul" of each individual. The mind itself, spread out as it is throughout our body and into the space around each of us, is capable of things a supercomputer cannot match, even with today's technology. Tech can certainly mimic, but it is incapable of creating originality or feeling human feelings, or love itself. It is a mimic, an externalization of our own neural network - the basis of the artificial binary reality that is enfolding around our cerebral cortexes. We have literally turned ourselves inside out. If you have ever wondered what this might look like, imagine a turtle or a mollusk, without its protective shell. Since the mind has no firewall as such, we interact with Life on this plane and planet in two main ways. We make certain choices, consciously or otherwise, to have certain experiences we feel we want to have. The other way is that things, people, or circumstances that just seem to "happen" to us. We sense a loss of control or free will in those situations. Nowadays we may even blame ourselves for experiencing a reality or event that we certainly did not plan on, but happened anyway. In both instances, we may not always get what it is that we thought we wanted to experience, and we also may have something happen with us or to us that ends up as blessing in disguise. Changing your thinking from "I create my own reality" to "I create reality, and Reality is creating me" reduces our fear of the unknown (and the need for certainty), while giving us more options to choose again. This point will be important, as you will find out. ![]() Thoughts, influences, and experiences shape our perceptions. If we are unawares of how we are aligning or entraining to anything, then we may unknowingly behave as the creators of those influences wish us to behave. Marketing and advertising have achieved untold levels of leverage over human consciousness via digital means. We know that via documentaries such as "The Social Dilemma." What we need to become even more aware of is how we are influenced or imprinted on other levels of our mind, even in our own bodies. Entrainment, resonance, and imprinting are the way mammals operate and learn from each other. Unfortunately, these natural and beautiful traits are now being used against humanity. Sovereignty is one way to describe a being that is completely in harmony with all environments and other beings, while maintaining a sense of "self". The American mystic Edgar Cayce, when asked to describe what the Christ Consciousness was, said: "To know thyself to be thyself, yet One with All That Is." When we can even touch into that field of awareness we can understand that the Christ Mind is not something belonging to the historical Jesus (or Yeshua) per se...it is an inherent part of each human being. The Gnostics referred to this divine gift as "epinoia", which means divine imagination and awareness. Resonance is constantly happening, and un-happening. We fall in love with someone. Five years later we may still love that person, but we are no longer "in love" with them. Resonance, for whatever reason, has changed or fallen away. A child loses interest in a plaything or toy. The resonant field that supported that interaction has changed. Resonance is a function of how Spirit is creating and learning about differing aspects of Itself, or remembering more of what He/She already is. We are co-creators, soul poets and scientists, existing beyond time and space, and yet totally immersed within it, trying to merge with All That Is while simultaneously striving to individuate and know what sovereign and free action is all about. Quite a paradox, wouldn't you say? One of the ways in which resonance manifests is in the realm of illness and disease. We can literally "vibe" with a pattern of resonance that fears disease or even death. This is called the "nocebo effect". One of the pioneers in mind-biology links is Dr. Bruce Lipton. His studies into epigenetics and beliefs have arrived at conclusions remarkably like those in quantum theory and quantum entanglement. His discoveries also support what Dr. John C. Lilly said about our minds and consciousness: "Whatever the mind believes to be true, either becomes true, or is true." This is an important factor in our attempts to understand the pandemic that erupted in late December 2019 and then engulfed the world. The effects may also be happening due to the extreme levels of toxicity in myriad forms on our planet today. The Latin word for a poison or toxin is "virus". What if a virus is nothing more than a cellular component that is reacting to toxicity? There is much more we must learn about the interactions of resonance, belief, and the environment as regards human biological and emotional wellbeing. First, we will need to examine our addiction to scientific orthodoxy, which is contrary to the true spirit of scientific inquiry and spirituality. ![]() Witnessing the chaos and disintegration of patterns in our world now is difficult. So many seem so hypnotized, or plain lost. Millions have no other concern other than simply surviving. Did we really want it to be this way? Our understanding of how human consciousness works and interacts is the key to extricating ourselves. Creation is born out of chaos and resonance by informed choice, arrived at by combination of meditation/spiritual hygiene, critical thought, and practical action. It is necessary to reverse the direction we are now finding our world going towards. The disintegration of the old order must continue, even when there seems to be no new framework to rely upon yet to replace it. The old consciousness is simply unable to offer any solution to the problems it has created. When I channelled Archangel Ariel back in the early 2000's, one statement made to describe the future situation we now find ourselves facing was expressed in such simple language: "Stop trying to fix this whole thing. Stop trying to reform it or remediate it. Let that go. If you have a broken-down old car, would you really spend good money to put four brand new tires on it? Not an incredibly wise response to the problem." I completely concur. It is imperative that we understand that during this year that the challenges and changes, with the squares between the two social planets Uranus and Saturn, will be definitive and long-lasting. The three main challenges are the choice of freedom over a digitized technocracy, the sovereign right of the individual to exercise informed consent, and resisting groupthink or hive mind and letting go of addiction to self-development and personal improvement so that we can work together more effectively and lovingly. One of the things I encourage you to do is to carefully examine yourself for any signs of deferring to outside authority for security, direction, certainty, and leadership. Also, become a student of spiritual or psychic hygiene techniques to maintain your bio-resonance with your own biology and with Nature both here on the planet and throughout the Multiverse. If you do not know how to do this, contact me for some tools. I also facilitate this work and have others I can refer you to. ![]() Lastly, fastidiously monitor your interactions and usage of electricity and technology. Currently the Dual-Headed Gods are Science (orthodox) and Technology (digital), but they are false gods. How they came to dominate our world is a story for another time. Our task for now is to take responsibility for allowing it to happen thus far by compassionately understanding how we have been sleepwalking with it for so long...and then taking the necessary steps to change ourselves, and by extension, create the potential world we would all like to create and inhabit. Where everyone is healthy, where everyone thrives, where loving kindness, cooperation and creativity are paramount. It is up to us to re-establish and maintain our sacred connections, to the plants, the animals, the planetary intelligence. Nature is worth preserving, for it indeed is the Mother of us all. Remember what we're here for, what you're here for. And hold sacred the beauty of this place, and see the Divine in the heart of it. Blessings of Peace, Isaac

May 11th 2018 “Live for yourself, and you will live in vain. Live for others, and you will live again.” – Bob Marley If you are reading this, perhaps you’ve always had a deep and unresolved yearning to know the “truth” about everything. Or, maybe you’ve just had some hard knocks in your life recently, and nothing is making much sense to you now. No matter how you slice it, the reality is that there are very few people who are self-actualized on this planet, who are successful according to society’s definitions, and don’t seem to have a care in the world. According to a report issued last spring by the World Health Organization (WHO) depression is now a major pandemic affecting millions worldwide, and it’s increasing with each passing month. Even the famous and successful actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has recently admitted that he was so depressed as a teenager after his mother attempted suicide that he was crying all the time, and he now urges men to open to their real feelings. [Links below] It’s not farfetched to think that we’re not really standing on solid ground any longer. The old beliefs, institutions, and explanations around our reasons for being alive and on this planet don’t cut it anymore, and as a species we are more stressed out, disconnected and yearning for meaning than ever before. Does it feel like you have no time or space to just BE, much less enjoy your life without having a moment’s respite from demands that our societies place on us? If so, then please read on. ![]() by Isaac George December 2nd 2017 Greetings! To those of you over in my old homeland of the USA, I hope you enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving with your families and friends. They don't observe T-Day here in the UK, but frankly, my waistline won't miss out much. The next holiday season will be arriving in about 25 days from now. I want to ask you something. As 2017 is drawing to a close, how has your year been? Be honest with yourself now... have all your goals, hopes and dreams you intended at the beginning of this year been realized? Bottom line, are you actually more fulfilled, healthy (emotionally, mentally and physically), prosperous and happy than you were in January? If your answer is "Yes", then good on ya! If your answer is "heck no!", then read on. No matter which side of the equation you find yourself after that question, I feel you'd agree with me on a couple of key points. 1) This planet is a radiant and beautiful place... and is very much worth preserving. 2) There's a lot going on in the world that isn't okay, that isn't radiant and beautiful... or fair to all. 3) That there needs to be a saner, better way to live that isn't so costly and destructive to our souls, psychologically physically, socially or environmentally. 4) That we can, and indeed must, find the personal and collective will, guided by our Creator, to envision and create a new world that is a type of heaven on the Earth. From the burgeoning refugee crisis in the Middle East, to the opoid epidemic sweeping the United Sates; from the human trafficking and sexual abuse that seems pervasive everywhere, to the widening gap between the elite who create and control more and more of the global wealth and resources; from the crushing hunger and homelessness... and hopelessness that we see around us, to the increasing breakdowns of individual freedoms and once-reliable institutions, we are all in some way either part of the problem, or part of the solution to these evils and ills. I use the term evil to define problems that have, or seem to be, beyond addressing or repair. However, I am in no way saying we are powerless or helpless to make a difference. To paraphrase Gandalf from Lord of the Rings when he counselled Frodo, we're here in these times to do what we can with the time we have been given. ![]() We are immensely complex, sensitive and powerful creations of Divine Love. We are capable of so much more than what the world and our past has defined us to be. We possess the imagination of the gods and goddesses, and are capable of creating our own versions of hell or heaven. It's always our choice... and we own nothing more valuable than our power to choose, and change. Beginning today I am making a re-commitment to my spiritual path as an emissary of Love, a speaker of truth to power, and desire to help others realize Who They Are beyond their past stories, or future fears. To make a difference in the lives of others requires that we first see ourselves with the eyes of Spirit, not the ego. If you'd like to move forward in 2018 towards more freedom within and without, an empowered sense of purposeful living through right livelihood, more nurturing and fulfilling relationships, an understanding of how the world really works, and why it's no longer healthy to just try and "fit in" to simply survive, then I'd like to invite you on to a free exploratory call with me. I will listen to your deepest desires, and your most prevalent fears. I will then suggest some things that you can take action on right now to bring you more into the Present moment and start getting clearer within about the next steps to take. I can then explain to you how my Spiritual Mentoring program and tools can further your growth and self- realization, and how to live a more peaceful and grounded life in a world that is going to change even more dramatically in the times to come. For me, a successful life has little to do with the size of your bank balance or stock portfolio, or accomplishments. It has everything to do with how peaceful, joyful and loving you are towards yourselves and others. Have you loved well, and have you made someone's life better by your being here? That's a success that you can take with you at the end of your life here. The invitation is below. Remember that you have the power to choose between the past, or an uncertain future, or a future that you want to face. A future that you can live fully in the Presence of right now, right here. There's absolutely no obligation or selling involved. To find out more, join me for a little chat together. I look forward to hearing from you. Isaac George: Voiceover Artist, Composer, and Audio Engineer ![]() By Isaac George Apr 28th, 2013 As I started my meditation the other morning I was having difficulty in focusing on my breath and moving past the inner noise of thoughts and the general haze of having just woken up. As I slowly deepened my breathing I became aware of the tensions in my body, especially in my shoulders and neck. Noticing my burdens, and suddenly feeling a sense of responsibility for so much that I needed to do, wanted to do or hadn’t done, I realized that I had lately become quite strongly identified with not only my own personal processes, but also with the undercurrent of feelings of millions of other people on this planet at this time. Suddenly I was in overwhelm… trapped and fearful. Breathe again…more deeply this time. I started to pray. In my prayers I only asked to experience more wisdom, more guidance, deeper peace. I wanted more clarity about why I was here, and what I could do to serve. Still, the feeling of overwhelm persisted. Breathing again deeply, I just stopped verbalizing and waited. Finally, I found I could follow my breaths and relax a bit more. Sensing some kind of pressure growing inside, I remained with my breath. Then, I had a remembrance of an affirmation that I’d read a long time ago in a book by Florence Scovel Shinn. Softly I mouthed the words…”I now release all of my burdens to the Christ within me, and I walk away unencumbered and free.” Instantly I felt the presence of Love from within and without, filling me with a profound reassurance and acceptance. I then sensed more than heard a quiet voice say “It’s okay to ask for what you need Isaac.” A few tears escaped as I realized how much I am cared for by this profound and loving Presence. I had to give up my defensive position and demands for guidance and wisdom before I could receive a larger blessing. A few moments later the quiet voice reminded me to forgive myself for all of my perceptions of failures, mistakes or missed opportunties in my past. This was a bit more difficult, but I eventually surrendered the judgments and regrets I’d been holding on to or felt shame about. The rest of that morning was transformed by Grace into more energy, more enthusiasm, and a willingness to share more from my heart. For a time, my worries, concerns and preoccupations were quieted. Only a few days have elapsed since this gentle reminder, and already I am noticing how I am returning to some of most basic wisdoms and practices that I embraced in the years following my spiritual wake-up call in 1994. I’ve complicated my life in too many ways, especially in the spiritual sense. Just a few days before this epiphany happened, I had been with my chiropractor. I went seeking relief from a locked-up muscle underneath the right shoulder. What I ended up going through were some core issues around fear, anxiety, insecurities and grief that was the ulterior cause for the pain and constriction. My chiropractor is a multi-faceted guy, very intuitive and also an energy healer. The session revealed to me how much I am impacted by the world’s dramas, as well as the various electromagnetic and geopathic stresses the planet is undergoing. This wasn’t news to me. Ever since the years 1999-2000, I’ve been extremely sensitive to Solar storms, major astrological transits and geomagnetic activity, and I’ve also become very aware of tuning in to the emotional content of events before they happen. I feel like a tuning fork, resonating to sounds I don’t hear physically. Once, while I was staying at an eco-lodge on the slopes of Mt. Shasta in northern California I woke up in the middle of the night to discover I’d been crying in my sleep…and didn’t understand why. This happened at 3am both times. Two days later September 11th, 2001 happened. Similar emotional-energetic episodes have preceded every major event since then, especially the ones caused by humans. Prior to the bombings in Boston this past April 15th I also felt anxiety and deep cathartic grief and tension in my body from an unknown cause. All of this only serves as a reminder to me that as we move more and more into universal awareness; it all becomes more personal as well. My chiropractor kindly reminded me that there is an epidemic of fear, grief and anxiety rippling through the collective consciousness of humanity, and that no one is immune to this. He reminded me to balance my sensitivity with a solid set of practices and intentions that are simple and effective. Taking walks and having sea salt baths, engaging in simple meditation and grounding or ‘earthing’. Good food, rest and staying open to my experience. Cuddles…lots of cuddles and snuggles with humans and pets. Simple…so simple. Others that I have interacted with, or from stories that filter through to me, are mirroring many of the same types of experiences. Many people are responding to the stresses in different ways. Some can’t stand to be on a computer very long, or suddenly detest their cell phone. It’s as if the chaotic emotions from all over the world are collected and amplified through the Internet and artificial electronic grid. Ours mind don’t come equipped with firewalls, and we immersed into the morphogenetic field of consensus reality like never before in human history. The internet is the ‘innernet’ of our minds and our physical neurological network externalized. This is the basis of telepathy and human empathic awareness. Some easy reminders for disengaging from our beloved gadgets is to take breaks from them, little and often, and do some stretches, spray yourself with an aromatherapy spray, get your feet out on to the lawn or in some sand. Obtain some kind of EMF protection for your cell or mobile phone, laptop, WIFI router, etc. , and reduce or eliminate watching television network news and mainstream entertainment programming. We are all responsible for our own energy and attitudes, but we are irresponsible when we think we have to attempt to do this all alone. Have we become so suspicious of authentic surrender in the spiritual sense, that we have equated it as a giving away of power to an outside authority? Only if we still are still hypnotized by our habituated belief of a Divinity that only resides ‘out there’ somewhere. It is essential to remember that fear or mistrust cuts us off from others. There is a growing awareness of our inherent ‘oneness’. Therefore, we must act in that manner, and reach out to others – to give and receive mutual support, intimacy, closeness, sharing and encouragement. When we are vulnerable and emotionally open with others, we feel ‘seen’ and we really see others with new eyes. Instead of reinforcing our wounds and recycling our stories, our mutuality creates a ground of safety where we can touch each other in a space of sacred intimacy. Therefore, allow for Life (God, Source, Spirit, Love) to provide for you. Asking for what we need or desire is not a sign of weakness or disempowering. It is the gateway to allowing the Universal Mind assist us in the highest way possible. When we are able to surrender our strategies, our agendas, our fears and hopes to the Teacher within, then we enter into Grace. To become impatient is to be grasping. To open your hand in gratitude, and receive that which is freely given empowers us to give freely to others. Life orders our journey again…doors can open, hearts can heal. Trust is not easy in a world preoccupied with a desire for gain, and the fear of loss. To trust in the highest within us is the beginning of joy and peace. No matter what is going on in the world right now, you have a choice – control or surrender. Choose wisely. Choose Life. Choose to let go into trust. Much peace, Isaac ![]() By Isaac George April 14th, 2013 Since Easter weekend I have had an unexpected interest in investigating the sources and manifestations of one of the most debilitating of all human experiences - shame. All such queries usually start for me when I spot some news article online, or catch some behavior in another human being. However, this time the trigger was a book I was impelled to pick up and reread. The book in question is not important at the moment, but I will list the title and author’s name at the end of this blog. It was the power of how it agitated me to look deeply inside of myself which was quite amazing and cathartic. There are many themes or ‘a-ha’s!’ cropping up within and around me these days, like the facts around heart-based awareness, and how a reawakened focus within the heart can reconnect us deeply into the Earth Consciousness and our Soul awareness, and through that portal we can access any point in ourselves and Creation. As the author Niamh Clune stated in her book ‘The Coming of the Feminine Christ’, “Only the awakened heart can avert the apocalypse.” My personal revelations on this issue is the quality of personal courage (heart), and how it seems that most modern Western men are seemingly far removed from their warrior aspect. This results in an epidemic increase in the opposite quality – unquestioning compliance with external authorities or structures. When I mean ‘warrior’, I am not referring to soldiers or mercenaries. I am instead referring to an aspect of the Divine Masculine, which possesses the attributes of one who courageously confronts injustice. Part of this quality is includes the roles of protector and sustainer, as well as standing deeply within one’s own integrity in order to be fully responsible and responsive. With all the emphasis on the return of the Divine Feminine, it is becoming increasingly important to recognize that a balance must be struck between the two genders as our species and the planet transition out of the old order, an order that survives through the use of shame, guilt and worse to maintain power. For there to be an authentic return to innocence, men will have to reclaim their true maleness, and embrace courage with compassion, strength with sensitivity, and protectiveness that doesn’t smother the feminine…but exalts it. Action combined with vision and heart can avert the apocalypse. Speaking truth to power that has been corrupted will not come from a monkish or emasculated consciousness. As Osho wrote in “Courage: The Joy of Living Dangerously” we may be the last generations of humanity that is able to rebel. The symbols of covert oppression are everywhere. Take the simple necktie for instance, that symbol of the business world that has become the almost universally identified with the corporate uniform. This simple piece of cloth is a symbol of slavery, or subjugation that has its origins in ancient times when conquering armies led captives back to their homelands. The iron or wood collar was the unmistakable brand of the slave, and was usually found at the end of a length of rope or chain. The shame of slavery, especially if the captive was a warrior, was a powerful and oppressive tool to keep the larger populations in line. The necktie simply says “we own you…don’t step out of line.” The temptation of compliance is to relinquish self-autonomy, while being hypnotized into believing that you still have free choice. When you comply, you allow others to decide for you, to be responsible for your choices and experience. This is a conditioned pattern within the human psyche, and has lead to all manner of cruelty, violence, coercion, lack of empathy and compassion, and pure indifference to the suffering of others. Courage never looks for the easy way out of something. Compliance always ends up in the slippery slope to oblivion. “I was only following orders” has become the historical excuse for untold numbers of murders, massacres and injustice. However, compliance is only one of the possible behaviors that arise from the deeper disease, which is shame. When we feel shame, it is one of the lowest emotional and vibratory states we can know while in human embodiment. Shame can be self-generated and self-directed, or arrive from outside of ourselves via parents, teachers, friends, political or military authorities. At the top of the pyramid is the strongest source of shame, which originates from religions. However, religion only relates the possible causes for shame, and then violently reinforces it. “You were born into sin!” they crow, and with each repetition the nails are driven deeper into the hands and feet of the faithful. Upon closer examination, each religion or ordered faith has its own version of the source of this condition, the reason we all need to blush and then grovel in the dirt. This sets up a process that is only to simple to spot in the known history of our species. If you do not conform, you will be cast out, exiled, or made to feel as if you have no value and don’t even deserve to exist. The pain of this and its power to break the human heart is incalculable, and it was designed to be so. I don’t feel that shame is a part of our natural persona. Guilt is it’s sister, despair and despondence it’s cousins. Shame runs through so much of the human personality disorder that it is difficult to detect most of the time. The Book of Genesis in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible (which is also in the Jewish Talmud) may offer some clues. I haven’t read the opening verses of The Koran to see if it has parallels to these books, but as Islam is also a descendent of the Abrahamic monotheism, I’d be surprised if it didn’t. I won’t reproduce the full text from Genesis, Chapter 3, but you can view it here. Genesis, Chapter 3, verse 8: Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” 10. He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” 11. And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” 12. The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” 13. Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” 14. So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.” In their book “Worldbridger”, Juliet and Jiva Carter describe the ‘Lord’ in this dialog as a genetic manipulator of alien origin, not the Source of Infinite Love and Grace that created us or the Earth. They postulate that since almost 97% of our genetic code is dormant it must have been altered or spliced at some distant point in our past that we’ve forgotten…or was it deliberately hidden? This take on the causes of shame goes a long way to explain the neurotic and schizophrenic tendencies in the human psyche. Our genetic software may be comprised by an alien code that is rooted in fear, survival, domination and enslavement of others. The best strategy in this case appears to be “give the slave race a complex surrounding its origins, and make the estrangement from it’s Divine Parentage seem to be real.” The curse at the end of Verse 14 is especially designed to evoke shame and guilt. After thousands of years of repetition and reinforcement, we have come to accept this insanity of a dual state of being as normal! The genius of it is, we have also swallowed the lie, cleverly implied in religious interpretation, that our identity as sexual beings is what caused the Lord’s wrath. This behavior is not representative of a loving Creator, but the ranting of a jealous and imperious overlord. It is now a well-recognised scientific fact that there is at least 6% of the human population that is missing a part of their genetic code that makes it possible to feel empathy. Could this be a clue to our genetic and behavioral distortion? Other studies seem to indicate that of this 6%, most tend to gravitate towards attaining positions of power and authority in ruthless and subversive ways, while projecting an outward persona of normal, rational human behavior. This may be the face of the pyschopath that is ensconced in the 1% who are in running the planet. By relating this information I am not implying that everyone in positions of power in politics, business or religion are psychopaths. However, all one has to do is to observe the fruits of their actions when compared to their words and projected image to understand who is who. Since this branch of neuroscience is in its infancy, I would not necessarily preach it as gospel just yet. [Sources: http://www.sott.net/article/246086-Is-the-Root-of-Evil-the-Psychopathic-Mind and http://human-nature.com/nibbs/01/psychopathy.html] Shame, and the conformity and false humility that it engenders, may be one of the most important issues that we will have to deal with. Some might argue that shame is a necessary check that informs us when we have committed an offense against another. When we realize that we have done something that has harmed someone else, and we have even an ounce of empathy, we know that our words or actions have caused hurt or misunderstanding. In the movie “K-PAX” starring Kevin Spacey, the main character Prot said, “everyone in the Universe knows the difference between right and wrong.” What is implied here is that we all know when we’ve crossed the line, and our internal nature informs us that we need to correct ourselves and utilize forgiveness as a tool to dissolve wounds between us and others. Regret for one’s unkind actions can open the heart and begin the healing process. When there is no healing process, or misunderstandings healed, then shame can turn into melancholy, rapidly followed by self-loathing and, in extreme cases, self-destruction. Sometimes people who have had terrible injustices happen to them, like rape or imprisonment and torture for their ethnicity, religion, gender, or political beliefs, can feel that somehow there must be something basically wrong with them to have had such experiences. Too often suicide seems to be the only way out of the pain of shame. Recently, some societies have resorted to publicly naming and shaming individuals, like child molesters, hoping that this will correct unacceptable behaviors. Statistically, it does nothing to discourage other predators, and all that is accomplished is that a perpetrator is now turned into another victim, usually for the second time in their life. This is shame used as a weapon, with ‘good’ people standing in as the ultimate judge, jury and executioner. The person who was violated and also the person who committed the violation can only be healed through love, not be driving the traumas of both deeper into their psyches. When a computer is infected with a virus, we employ a specialist or install a specially-designed program that hunts down and quarantines the troublesome bug, and then delete it later. When a human body contracts a virus, we ride it out while attempting to make our biology an inhospitable environment for the virus to exist in. We can eat chicken soup, or take vitamin C and other folk or traditional remedies to combat the invader that makes us feel so rotten. What do you do to remove a psychic and subconscious virus? Sometimes, the diagnosis is tricky, but the solutions can sometimes be quite simple. In the case of shame, however, it takes a bit more than what is typically offered through psychological methods, or with energy healing. The realm of quantum mechanics can go quite deeply into how things work with consciousness and matter, but so far has been unable to explain the why of how it all works. Since there is a unified field, and since DNA is the common denominator within our biological makeup, then there very well may be a ‘virtual’ DNA as well, that exists in our subtle bodies and transcends any genetic damage done either through mutations from natural causes, or from deliberate manipulation. Accessing and reactivating our multidimensional codes may simply be down to the right combination of light, geometry and sound. The increasing interest in sound healing, especially non-specific forms like improvisational music created through toning and the use of crystal or metal singing bowls, can invoke specific resonances that help us remember our true natures beyond language. Music is a bridge between the Cosmos and the Earth, and the shamans have known it for millennia. Likewise there is a growing interest in sacred geometry, both as an art form and also as a map of creation and consciousness. Grounding into the Earth is also a route to re-orienting our biological electro-magnetic resonance. Solutions: The shame virus can be temporarily negated through the power of deliberate language. Affirmations consciously directed are quite powerful in a variety of situations. It is important to recognize that the power of the spoken word also may awaken the subconscious conditioned pattern of ‘not good enough’. Simply saying ‘I deserve this or that…’ may evoke a counter-response of through the ‘voice in my head’ of “No, you don’t.” This can set up an inner conflict that has no clear winner. Affirmations alone are usually not very effective in the long run. Here are a few suggestions to identify, reduce, and in some cases eliminate, the ‘shame virus’ - Shadow Work: This is a very broad topic with many paths and systems. Shamanic traditions are much stronger in this regard, and perhaps explains the increasing interest in plant pharmacology and indigenous ceremonial methods to release false personas, embrace and integrate shadow aspects, and recall projections of the psyche, otherwise known as ‘soul retrieval.’ One excellent book on the subject is “Embrace of the Daimon” by Sandra Lee Dennis. Creative Anger: I’ve just begun to explore this as a method for getting in touch with those parts of ourselves that we consider to be unacceptable, and how and why we judge those parts so. Try thinking back to when someone said ‘shame on you’ for touching yourself (and enjoying it), or for doing what you wanted to do with your life, rather than pleasing someone else. If you decide to dump the shame stigma you’ve ‘eaten’ and made a part of yourself, then you might feel pretty angry. This requires creative approaches, but punching a pillow while screaming, or using a plastic baseball bat on a dead tree stump might just be your cup of tea. Gestalt therapy and primal screaming might be something to explore. Drumming circles? Improvisational Dance: Dancing is one way to move and express trapped energy. Explore experimental dance styles, like 5 Rhythms Dance by Gabriele Roth. Breathwork: Loads of choices here. Deep breathing will usually bring up many repressed feelings. Choose from Holotropic, Shamanic, or yogic techniques like the Cobra or Fire Breath. Please do these with proper supervision and support. Earthing: Connecting your biological self to the earth, to Gaia, is a revolutionary act against the technologically-based dominator culture. Get your feet onto wet grassy or sandy soil. Walk barefoot on the beach. Get an Earthing pad or wristband, so you can remain connected to the natural magnetic and telluric earth envelope while working on computers. Investigate and acquire some simple protection for shielding your body from cell phones, mobile and digital phones, WIFI, computers and routers and microwave stations. One thing that I strongly recommend is to drop all perceptions of the experience of shame, or any other negative emotional state, as being part of another body or psychic state, thereby placing it outside of yourself. Even though shame is a form of false humility, and is by its very nature an illusion that is incompatible with your true and original innocence, it is not something you are carting around like a piece of luggage that you are trying to get rid of. In order to take full responsibility for your being, and your experience, it will be more helpful to abandon the notions of separateness and cultivate wholeness in yourself. Cultivating sovereignty is an on-going process and discipline, not a switch that the Universe flips on or off for you. Allowing yourself to take risks with the full knowledge that you will also make mistakes removes a tremendous amount of self-induced pressure on you to be perfect so that you can avoid the experience of shame. Which brings this sharing to the ultimate shame bubble…the programmed belief in almost all human beings that we wouldn’t be here, would not be ‘trapped’ in matter and physicality, if we had only behaved right and not upset God, Creator, or whomever. In spite of all the spiritual books and workshops that illumine us to the possibility that Source Consciousness is benevolent and has created infinite beings out of Itself in order to experience Itself, the power of the old lie to occasionally set us back into the old fears and subconscious language of ‘just not good enough’, or ‘there isn’t enough…love, light, abundance, or Life ‘ is still there in the human condition. We no longer have to kneel in shame any longer. We are children of the Benevolent Heart of Creation, and innocence is our natural state of consciousness. Love is who you are. There is only one Love, one Truth, and it is your Love, your Truth. When you extend your love, your truth to others, and employ forgiveness and understanding, their shame is converted into healing, and even the blind will be able to see again, and the lame will rise up and walk. When we stand up from the impulse of love and take action on the behalf of a better world, we truly announce who we are without shame. We return to our authenticity, and we are sane again. “The brave may not live forever, but the cautious don’t live at all.” – Courtney Allison Moulton Arise! Peace, Isaac |
