"Excerpts from Eternity" is the fruit of a time of deep transformational and spiritual renewal that began for the composer in the winter of 1994. The source of inspiration was drawn strongly from Nature and the Cosmos, and what lies beyond it. Various memories, perceptions, moments of reverie and peak spiritual awakenings from a place of deep personal loss and change contributed to the 'channeling' of these pieces. The album is in the genre of soundscapes, but could also be called 'dreamscapes'.
Almost all pieces were improvisational in character, and were not premeditated. As such, the open character of the arrangements and mixing may have an effect on the consciousness of the listener. For that reason, it is recommended to listen to this album on headphones, or in a quiet listening environment. Do not play this music while driving or operating machinery!
